Don't really have a favourite decision, favourite moment however HAS to be the last 5 minutes to Episode 3, I was so stunned by the Reveal, I had to put the game down for the rest of the day, and I LOVED the music that plays during those last 5 minutes, so emotional.

everyone was a bland cardboard cut out. The only actually interesting people were chloe when she was in the wheelchair and Mr. Jefferson. (Which is not good when a game relies solely on story and characters)
There was barely any gameplay.

And, of course, the ending. Aka the ONLY choice with actual consequences.

DontNod said in the Life is Strange Dev Commentary the Doe is Rachel guiding Max. In fact the first time you see the doe in the junk yard it is where Rachel is buried.
That was bone chilling, seeing the doe move the first time from Rachel's burial spot, taking the photo and the doe not being in the photo, definitely a moment to look at every time you turn the game on
Fact 108: It stings when you hear there will be a whole new cast for season 2, as we got so attached.
Well their story is kinda told in its entirety. Unless they do another 3 episode long sequal that's poorly written like before the storm, in which case they can then continue Chloe and Max's story. You know, get the player to spend 6-9 hours watching very little story progression about their lives past AB. But then you also have the point of what about those who chose the needs of the many against the needs of the few. They can switch warren for Chloe! There. They have the basis for their next game
They cannot use the same characters because of the last decision you make In LIS EP 5 where you either save the town and let chloe die, or save chloe and let everyone in the town die. In order to include everyone they would have to make two separate games based off of that last decision.
They should make one episode for each ending in season 1 showing us the future of chloe and max(like where the hell are they going) in case you saved chloe and max and everyone else in case you saved arcadia bay...they can show that max never uses her powers again or how she got them in the first place and why...i think it is doable and should make such success cause they dont leave us hunging on what happens next that we all want to know...plus i think season 2 with new cast will have less influence on us since we got attached by the beautiful story and characthers of the first one
I don't know I saw some play through and I'm warming up to it. Kinda don't like the characters. They're boring like max but there isn't a Chloe to make up for it. But I liked the whole concept of running away being what it'll focus on so time will tell. As for main characters the problem is, is that they fucked over the original ending for any chance of building of it. The only ending I could see being interesting is where Chloe and max live and because she never reversed the event that gave her powers she somehow still has it. But I here they're actually gonna make a comic about it so fingers crossed it's actually good. My main lingering thought is how the hell Rachel and Frank ended up together. I was really hoping bts would cover it and it didn't. So who knows

What is the difference?
ASDRION TM BTS is a prequel made by Deck Nine, LiS 2 will be a whole new story with nothing to do with Max and Chloe and is being made by DontNod, the people who originally made LiS season 1:)

Here’s my theory: everyone always says how max and Rachel were so similar. Maxes spirit animal (finding out by Samuel) is a deer. When we find Rachel dead, you will see a deer that’s transparent, meaning that that was also Rachel’s ambers spirit animal. It also shows that you’ll see the persons spirit animal after they die.
If you choose to save Arcadia Bay, you will go to Chloes funeral. At the end, the blue butterfly will land on the coffin. Who has blue hair? Chloe. When did it introduce the butterfly? When they introduced chloe.

Rachel is the ghost doe, it was confirmed by the writers
I'd like to think Max got her powers through Chole's spirit as in the original timeline, Chole died without ever seeing Max again. So, she wanted her spirit to have at least some kind of time with her (as she says to her that those three days were the best of her life) before the inevitable happened.
This is my theory as well. The blue butterfly is Chloes spirit, and it gave her the powers so that she could have the opportunity to save Chloe and help her find closure by discovering what happened to Rachel, and also give her the chance to spend a few more days to reconnect with her old best friend who she otherwise would never have been able to meet again. Being present and enjoying the small, fleeting moments of love and beauty while they last is a common theme throughout the game. Anyone who's lost someone wishes that they could have at least one more day with them, even just another hour with them, to say what they never had the chance to say or do what they never could when they were alive. Max was given that chance so she wouldn't have to live with the regret of never contacting Chloe.

Life is Strange has such an artistic feel, I love looking around and looking at the backgrounds and be my own photographer by taking screenshots. I love the story behind Life is Strange, Currently playing Life is Strange: Before the Storm. So far so good!! I hope they bring out more games surrounding the Life Is Strange saga. :)

You seem to have made some mistakes in this, it is in episode 5 that max goes through that weird dream sequence after going through the pictures, and we are introduced to Kate in episode 1 not 2

Yes, and the owl is Jeffersons patronus , the ape is Warrens, the whale is Joices, the blue jay is Rachels, the butterfly is Chloes and the dog is franks.
Wasd It's in Harry Potter. It's basically your own guardian spirit that acts as your shield from dementors, who feeds on happiness. And Patronuses are filled with positive energy. Patronuses normally uses a form of a certain animal depending on your character.

Life is strange has to be one of my favorite games since I recently played it. It’s a immersive and so good. I cried a lot when playing it and it always had me on the edge of my seat ❤️
Have you played Before the storm? Just finished, and it messed me up emotionally haha. The first one also messed me up a few years ago. No movie or tv show has done that to me before.
The doe is Rachel. It leads you to Rachel's body in the junkyard + Directors openly confirm it in the director commentaries!
Noone mentions that Max's ability to go back in time after looking at a picture, is influenced by the movie "Butterfly Effect (2004)" ? It's such a unique feature that appears only in that movie.

I believe the ghostly doe is Rachel Amber, there's been many scenes where she's watching over the two of them both there. So it can't be Cloe because you see it up on the hill when you first go to the junkyard.

Rachel. When Max is in the junkyard, the Doe stands where Rachel was buried. Once they find Rachel’s body, the Doe never comes again.
@@starlight161964 And yet the developer's commentary reveals that it was in fact Rachel guiding them. Max is the only one who sees her as well, and as Emirrart says; the doe stares at Chloe and Max as they cry over Rachel's body, before it finally disappears. It was clearly Rachel's spirit.
@@TheStraightestWhitest but didn't the doe also appear at the end during Max's nightmare in that "reversed" scene (where everything is backwards - voices, texts, music). The doe guides Max to the bathroom where it all started with Nathan and Chloe. There is no link with Rachel in that bathroom. Why did the doe appear there then?

No, only a prequel, the second life is strange is not related to the first one. There are some minor references to the first one, like the appearance of a character of LIS 1 in the end of LIS 2 and some of his pictures, but that's it.
I have played all 5 episodes of the main game, the 3 episodes of before the storm, and the farewell episode. I loved playing all of them. Life Is Strange is one of my favorite games.

I think the reason max and other life is strange characters got the powers the same way with experiencing something traumatic in there life witch leading them in getting there powers.
They did such a good job with the meditative / relaxative states because it really feels like youre experiencing it all and i feel like it was just an epic gamer move since games often have really pretty things but are just like GO GO GO GO

They're often Mary Sue's which are inserted just to appease to a feminist crowd.
Not every female game/movie/TV show character is like that but plenty are.
Note: I'm not talking about LiS itself as Max has proven to be a hypocrite when having that conversation about Nathan to Jefferson. She's a flawed character, and flawed characters make interesting characters over little miss perfects. (It's also swift to criticise men a lot but not much for women in today's society which additionally adds more salt to the wound).

I personally loved the finale of the LIS cause like the entire time iplayed my BFF kept saying "youre the max to my chloe" so the final choice flashed not as chloe but as my BFF and it made it like 100% more painful for me.

I believe Rachel Amber is the storm because at the end of episode 1 we find out that Rachel has a power. I believe she's a banshee because her screams are so powerful that it changed the direction of a fire she created. I could be wrong
I don't think we'll know the cause of the storm because that would alter how we would perceive the final decision.

In fact, this death could be avoided even if Max doesn't use her rewind powers: all the other deaths happen while they're together - when Chloe gets hit by a train, alternative timeline or when Mr. Jefferson shoots her. I hope I explained well

I REALLY REALLY LOVED THIS GAME I EVEN WENT BACK AND CHOOSE DIFFERENT ANSWERS THEN FROM MY FIRST CHOICES ... WHAT A GREAT GAME ... THEY NEED TO CONTINUE THEY'RE WORK AND CREATE ANOTHER ONE.
I came up with a theory about Rachel somewhat recently, I think she's somehow related to Odin from Norse mythology.
In Norse mythology, Odin had two Ravens named thought and memory,they acted as his messengers, and would gather information.
We almost always see at least one Raven around Chloe.
Odin is associated with wisdom, war, wind, healing, and poetry (amongst other things, particularly involving the arts and creativity.)
Rachel's intelligence, rebellious nature, of course the wind scene in the forest, her covering up Chloe's bruise, and helping her heal emotionally, and her love for being creative and artistic all seem to match Odin pretty well.
Odin also has an undying want for knowledge, to the point where he actually sacrifices one of his eyes to the Mimir (The god of knowledge.)
While Rachel never makes such a sacrifice, Chloe does when the creepy guy in the bar gives her a black eye. It's at that point Rachel finds Chloe, and continues to find her throughout the rest of the game (It could also explain all the eye symbolism.)
But hey, that's just a theory. A GAME THEORY.

I'm pretty confident the doe is Rachel rather than Chloe, given that it mostly appears when Chloe is not only alive, but elsewhere in the scene. For example, when Chloe and Max are digging up Rachel's body and Chloe goes into shock mourning, the doe is watching as though wanting to comfort her, whereas its first appearance in the junkyard is more like saying hello to Max
