St Leger only played for Leicester once last season after falling out with Nigel Pearson, he was then released and is now without a club. Easy to see why after watching this.
Watching this i`m shocked he had the career he had tbh. He was also in the ROI team and scored at Euro 2012. Which is shocking when you think the likes of George Best and Ryan Giggs never made it to a major international tournament.
3.40 Fry is out of order. He sits in the boardroom, as the club owner, in front of his manager and says he needs St Ledger to play centre back in order to attract offers to save the club financially, then tells the centre back he replaces that it wasn't his decision. Watching this series I honestly don't know which out of Fry or Bleasdale is the biggest bell-end. Isn't it just typical in any company, football club or otherwise, for the men at the top to heap all the blame on middle management when it all goes wrong.
I'd say Fry was a bigger nob, Bleasdale was obviously out of his depth at that level but as manager still deserved a bit of respect. As soon as Atkinson came in Bleasdale was totally undermined, I actually felt a bit sorry for him
Fry caused this by over ruling Bleasdale. Bleasdale had a plan to play St Ledger at right back..he's the manager, those were his tactics. Once you start interfering and over ruling the person below then their authority is fatally undermined. I felt sorry for Steve.
Bleasdale was very much out of his depth and didn't come across as a very likeable bloke, but pretty blatant that Barry Fry deliberately pushed him over the edge to avoid paying him the compensation he was due. Great telly but if I was a Peterborough fan at the time I would be pretty worried by this. Luckily it seems they've definitely got their act together since with ,McAnthony at the helm.
Ron spent the whole documentary undermining him Infront of the players. Bleasedale didn't look like a worldie of a manager but he didn't stand much of a chance. Fry is a clown.
Barry fry is a man who loves the beautiful game and was willing to put everything he ever earned and owned into it. Not many football club owners could say that today in 2022. That’s why I’ll always have nothing but respect for the man. Fry is the die hard supporter who’ll always have its back.
St Ledger had no respect and thinks he was above everyone at that club.. He cost them points himself. I feel sorry for Steve Bleasdale i think he wasn't given a fair chance and soon as Atkinson came in he was basically hung out to dry and the big cats in the club all showed no back bone.
He probably did the best thing. His job was done and I mean the players would never respect him on the pitch after this. He did it in the wrong way, but I mean this was a huge mistake.
All through the series Fry is like “Steve, I’d fuck them off mate I wouldn’t want them anywhere near me” And then the one time Bleasdale finally has the bollocks to put one of the players out of their comfort zone he gets undermined.
I'd have walked out as soon as Bleasedale got the job, he's just so dumb, clueless and tactically naive, none of the players could possibly have had any respect for him, i dont like Ledger's attitude but i do understand it.
“ don’t fakin Salk Alf of yer didn’t like him anywhere “ Was that meant to be anyway ?? Love Barry Fry , could listen to him all day, the Hylda Baker of football
Well if you are that rigid you run the risk of the players being unhappy with you, that will result in a drop in performance from the entire squad. You have to know how to manage ego's and personalities, that's a part of the job.
Danny crowe is a proper wholly and st ledger . They are the ones messing that team up . Individuals only bothered about themselves . Laughing when the gaffer resigns . Waste man
St Ledger is a waste of space. Where's he now? Got dropped by Leicester. Can't say I feel sorry for him. Bleasdale isn't a great manager but I think that the chairman's a money-grabbing bellend. It's clear all he cares about is selling players and trying to make a profit.
Fry was right, but then he goes and tells the centre-back Bleasdale has to drop, that it wasn't his decision. That was stretching the truth to the limit. This is the man who writes the pay cheques telling Steve to change the team in order to save the club financially, then deliberately making the manager look bad through what he tells the players. That was out of order
'We´ve surrendered the white flag!' Fry in a nutshell. He keeps moaning about the fact that nobody knows where they're playing after he over-ruled the manager's team selection.
St leger could not see he's more the problem than the manager, poor attitude. Ok bleasdale goes on and on but he's still the boss and he was right to tell St leger go away, nobody could organise any team with that attitude, it's childish and disrespectful to the fans.
My uncle (SEAN ST LEDGER'S FATHER) just showed me this hahaha, love you Sean! Yes he is my cousin as I've gloated about for years, because why wouldn't I be so proud! this was a tough beginning but he's now the TOP of the game, this is ages down!
Top of his game? He ever played in prem?? No he's just is in a fucking reserve league in America!! No wonder he thinks he's made it if he has clueless relatives like you saying, oh Sean your fucking better than John terry son!! He's done fuck all!

Steve bleasdale is like a Sunday league manager who's suddenly got the job managing a football league team
The look bleasedale gives the camera before resigning is comedy gold
😂 Ha yeah.
St Leger only played for Leicester once last season after falling out with Nigel Pearson, he was then released and is now without a club. Easy to see why after watching this.
Yep, needs to grow up
Watching this i`m shocked he had the career he had tbh. He was also in the ROI team and scored at Euro 2012. Which is shocking when you think the likes of George Best and Ryan Giggs never made it to a major international tournament.
Crowe and ledger absolute weasels.
One of the older lads could and should of sorted that
I couldn't work with footballers. St. Ledger is an absolute weasel.
3.40 Fry is out of order. This clip shows that Barry Fry is an utter snake oil salesman and should never ever ever been let near a football club.
9:26 " Go and get the guitar"
Was that originally about Mark Wright?
Fry caused this by over ruling Bleasdale. Bleasdale had a plan to play St Ledger at right back..he's the manager, those were his tactics. Once you start interfering and over ruling the person below then their authority is fatally undermined. I felt sorry for Steve.
Bleasdale was out of his depth it was plain to see.
"I resign fellas. Good luck everyone. See you later" The last words we've ever heard from Bleo!
That was the most clear and concise thing he ever conveyed to his players.
Mousetrap is a tune 👏👏
Bleasdale was very much out of his depth and didn't come across as a very likeable bloke, but pretty blatant that Barry Fry deliberately pushed him over the edge to avoid paying him the compensation he was due. Ron should have stood up for Steve in that situation.
Ron spent the whole documentary undermining him Infront of the players. Bleasedale didn't look like a worldie of a manager but he didn't stand much of a chance. Fry is a clown.
Ron saying in the end, “it’s like watching a soap opera”. You damn right it is but comedy one.
He shouts and changes so many random things that even the players who are listening to them are confused.
The best part was when Steve Bleasdale found his dignity and resigned on the spot. Good for him 👍
looked like constructive dismissal to me.
100%
The Office has nothing, NOTHING, on this
St Ledge looks and acts like Sid Vicious.
Sid Vicious had talent
@@walboyfredo6025 Yes pretending to play the bass guitar lol.

'He shouted at me like I'm a clown', said the clown.
If st ledger don't want to play right back because he wants to impress, why not speak to the manager instead of pouting like a child.
The actor who plays the part of bleasdale has to have won awards for this show. Please tell me there’s a season 2 ?
Thankyou so much for uploading this. I had never seen this series before. One of the best footy documentaries around
You can't run a club like that. Thought Bleasdale was crap but totally undermined by Fry.
Should probably have given Atkinson the job instead of Bleasdale who was simply not up to it
Theres no f##kin point playing him right back...... "exactly" - bleo
this could be an episode of 'the office'
hilarious.....took all of about 30 seconds to move on from the resignation!
Lol.
Its so ugly. Feel sorry for the manager. Its basically constructive dismissal it seems. How could he continue?
Never liked Barry Fry. Big gob. Threw his manager under a bus. Absolute snake.
Barry fry I don’t pick the team after saying st ledger has to play
Yeah a weasel
St leger is a big baby! He ain't the type of personality or person u would not want in your club.
Poor Steve! Seriously, what chance did he have!
No chance with the IQ he had.
+Qwerty Qwertyson What do you mean? He wasn't respected by his boneheaded players so what more could he have done?
St Ledger had no respect and thinks he was above everyone at that club.. He cost them points himself. I feel sorry for Steve Bleasdale i think he wasn't given a fair chance and soon as Atkinson came in he was basically hung out to dry and the big cats in the club all showed no back bone.
He probably did the best thing. His job was done and I mean the players would never respect him on the pitch after this. He did it in the wrong way, but I mean this was a huge mistake.
Especially when you consider he's just a care taker manager. He royally fucked himself ever since as a result of walking out of the dressing room.
Total respect to him,,,I would have walked as well
Hilarious from start to finish.
You couldn't make it funnier if you scripted it.
St ledger talking about respect.....do me a favour.
All through the series Fry is like “Steve, I’d fuck them off mate I wouldn’t want them anywhere near me”

Saint ledger had form he also tried this with trap
What a worm St Ledger is.
Dave boreham springs to mind.
Haha what a joke of a club this cant be real surely haha funny as fuck
9:15. That is how the Pope should have resigned.
"She doesnt know whether shes playin" - I hope shes not or the team deffo is fucked
The players and Barry Fry threw Steve under the bus a bit
Too many people getting involved, should be down to manager who he picks
“ don’t fakin Salk Alf of yer didn’t like him anywhere “
Was that meant to be anyway ??
Love Barry Fry , could listen to him all day, the Hylda Baker of football
You end up feeling sorry for him here

you can tell steve is a good guy but the players are just taking the piss! no respect for the manager at all...
fuck me Peterborough was in some shit behind the scenes back then lol makes me think what its like at elite level clubs
Fry wants results but then wont let the manager make the decisions he needs to make to get them.
How the fuck can you work like that
st ledger makes me laugh i wonder if he gets away with it with pearson i wouldnt think so
Spoiler 9 years on he was dog shite at City Pearson worked him out and fucked him off
Danny crowe is a proper wholly and st ledger . They are the ones messing that team up . Individuals only bothered about themselves . Laughing when the gaffer resigns . Waste man
Turns out Sean St Ledger is right, then. :D
steve is an awful manager. just annoying. players dont respect him.
St Ledger is a waste of space. Where's he now? Got dropped by Leicester. Can't say I feel sorry for him.
Bleasdale isn't a great manager but I think that the chairman's a money-grabbing bellend. It's clear all he cares about
is selling players and trying to make a profit.
That is not profit. That is money that keeps the club afloat dumbass. No club in the lower leagues makes a profit.

9:14 to 9:40 hilarious 😂
don't blame him for walking out at all. manager and not picking the team, joke club
Ron Atkinson is a dinosaur. Fry is not particularly likeable but he sacrificed a lot & took massive risks for POSH before Darragh came along.
Can st ledger talk? He can hardly get a word out.
chelsea changing room this
'We´ve surrendered the white flag!' Fry in a nutshell.
He keeps moaning about the fact that nobody knows where they're playing after he over-ruled the manager's team selection.
Even the Clough, Ferguson and Moyes would be mentally stretched trying to get the most out of these no hopers.
Even Moyesy? 😂 This comment aged well
@@synthesizerpatel7405 Now turned around again!
@@Scallion_D I honestly still don’t rate him that highly. However he has got a very good squad together I’ll give him that.
Atkinson was a snake there. And fry was a complete prick to tha man
You don't have a managerial career mate.
St leger could not see he's more the problem than the manager, poor attitude. Ok bleasdale goes on and on but he's still the boss and he was right to tell St leger go away, nobody could organise any team with that attitude, it's childish and disrespectful to the fans.
HAHA!!! Well that is amazing television! HAHA!
Sean St Shithouse
Players are a big bunch of babies. Typical of the modern generation.
Shambles
haha
All chiefs and no Indians. 😐
