- ‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield has questioned whether Aussie actress Rebel Wilson's latest claims about Melissa McCarthy are just to "make a buck”.
The Australian actor claims Melissa McCarthy stole a role that should have gone to her in the hit film Bridesmaids.
“I feel like Hollywood is about who you know so where is the shock in Melissa had a contact and that got her one step closer isn’t that the dream, isn’t that why you network in the city and sit through terrible screenings,” Ms Schofield told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“I mean I don’t see any value in what Rebel said.
“I mean the more kind of shock stories and headlines that come out of her book you start to think is this all just to make a buck?”

I think most people would doubt some of her claims considering she was a land whale at the time.
I couldn't imagine anyone other than Melissa in that Bridesmaids role. She made that character work to the point that without her, it wouldn't have been as funny. The actresses that were in the film were perfect for it. Rebel is a funny actress, but Mcarthy is one of the best. Wilson is starting to sound jealous, and that isn't going to help her popularity, imo.
Rebel could not act her way out of a paper bag…the book is messy….critics have bagged it..she covered the whole book on This Morning….in her interview flogging it…….which saved people from buying the crap….she has never had an “image”

Bridesmaids was McCarthy's finest work. She killed it!

It's strange but some people have very attractive faces when they are overweight, and something is lost when their face thins down during weight loss. Rebel is one of those cpeople. Imo.

Kinsey is far from objective when it comes to the actions, or lack thereof, of KC and the BRF. Fan girl cannot accept the reality that they are all scoundrels covering each others misdeeds
