Very nice. These were the best trucks on the road back in the day. I see the truck is a Custom, but someone has added Ranger side mouldings. One thing missing, are the factory Camper Special west coast style mirrors, the ones on the truck are aftermarket.

360 and 390 use the same block. 428 is bigger bore. 352 is a small bore with same stroke as a 360. Very nice truck.

Someone got a nice truck. ha, back when this was new, i was a kid working at a father/son service station and this was the 'shop' color for a ThunderBird, Lincoln, truck just like this and even a 'like new' '61 F100 used for battery jumps and driving customers from and to the shop when their car was left for service.

IS THE CAMPER SPECIAL BED DIFFERENT FROM A SUPER CAMPER SPECIAL BED? MY SCS BED HAS A SPACE ON THE PASS SIDE FOR THE SPARE TIRE, 2 HUMPS IN THE BED.

My camper special has damned 16.5 inch wheels. Not a common size. Wondering how wide they should be? Big disparities

If you got to choose between having a 460 or a 390, what one would you pick? I am trying to decide between 2 trucks right now. One is a 1968 ranger with a 390 and the outside isn’t in the best of shape but the inside is pretty good. The other is a 1975 ranger XLT that is in way better condition with minimal rust. I’ve looked all over UA-cam trying to find anything on the difference between the 2 motors mentioned above but I can’t figure it out. Do you mind giving some insight?
