This is an honest example of an older truck that u know what your getting, no bog job repairs, no rust in body or cab only surface rust and a bit of patina and it looks as though it hasnt had a hard life and its extremely rare to find an example like this truck , as they say there only original once. You could restore this truck easily but all very well but the best thing is to leave it how it is because if you restore it it will loose its originality and wont have the history or story to tell, great original truck bro and keep it that way its only original once.
I like these older trucks way better then the new ones. I've own a few of them and regret selling them. Axle ratio on the front is a slightly higher so it pulls the back and help the steering, but is not good to stay in 4 wheel drive on pavement for too long. It will wear out everything faster and is hard on gas. Love the video.
It was a killer truck, hard to find one like this. Prefect patina, a finished project is what I would call it. Thanks for viewing check out what we have coming down the pipeline at NO RESERVE. www.denwerks.com/liveauctions
Nice. Just pulled the money out for a lunar green '67 250 just like this, albeit with more rust on the body and bed, none on the hood. Picking it up tomorrow.
Not sure about 1968, But split rims were on the 16 inch rim later. My dad's cousin bought one new in 1972 and came with 16 inch split rim. My dad bought a new 1970 with 16.5's and they were standard rim. Those large tires help you get up to highway speed because if you had standard 235 85 R16 tires, you would barely make it to 60mph if that has 4:11 gears.
Do the odometers on these old trucks go up to 99,999.9 or 999,999 I bought one that showed roughly 113000 when I bought it. I'm not too familiar with old trucks yet.
They are only a 5 digit Odometer so only goes up to 99999 then rolls over to 00000, then 00001 etc. This was true I believe in Ford trucks all the way up til the late 80’s.
Yeah I have to agree, this is one that I would have really liked to keep honestly. Check out some stuff we have coming up www.denwerks.com/liveauctions
I dont remember if u said the front end was redone or not but it has been. Those inner front fenders did not come painted black like that. Still a very nice rig. But that's not original inner front fenders.
I would drive it as is love the patina PERFECT for me a nice work truck hope one day I will find one I have 94 f150 flairside but this one here I like a lot
Here in south Tx. wild Mexicans would take that truck back and you'll never see it again . Keep an eye out for the Mexican built Dodge with the two valve Cummins . Take Care All

The only Ford trucks I’ll ever drive.
Great looking motor in there. They always look great when they are painted like factory. This truck is like a twin to Brian Borneo’ 67
Thanks Guyz
I am stoked💞

@@ridgerunner106 16 inch or 16.5's? You running bias tires or radicals with inner tube?
bias and tubes 16". I have some 16.5 but don't like those. Just keep them on old trucks so I can move around. I have a pile of pre 80 trucks.
@@ridgerunner106 that's great! Glad you've kept those. I like it when people keep old vehicles original. It lets people see how things used to be.
My only licensed truck is a 76 F250. I am 50 now. I went from Louisiana to Alaska in one, with a severe load, and crossed the Yukon.
Bad ass truck

One winter in Pennsylvania would ruin it.
Ford Trucks are super common in the Upper states, not sure what you mean...
Fords are tough trucks.
These old trucks aren't galvanized. It would start to rust immediately.
