Thanks and glad to help out! I keep hoping with new revisions for a bug fix - could be a Windows issue as much as anything. Fortunately I don't change my config that often so once its setup I've found it to be stable.
Hi dr tk! Thank you so much for your video on "windows mover and resizer"! Would you know if it is possible to open and position several web pages in different web browser windows at different positions this way? I was not able to do so (first, they all open in different tabs in the same window, and also, my browser window does not move). And I could find no way to contact BarRaider... Best, Matthias

Thanks for the info. When I use this setup on my stream deck+ it creates a copy of the application from the drop down menu. I then need to select the newest copy of the say Spotify. I'm up to 7 copies of OBS in the application menu =\ What the heck do I do?
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but I wanted to try to duplicate what is happening and I have been waiting for my SD+. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the "mover" plugin and it cleared up extra application entries, but of course not ideal once you have everything setup. It has been a while since the plugin has been updated, but I see BarRaider has been updating a number of plugins for the SD+, so hopefully we'll get a fix for this soon.
How do you move multiple chrome windows around instead of just the whole app?
As long as each chrome tab is in its own window and is currently running, you can select the window when choosing the app to move. But when you are using the SD to start and move chrome, it will only do one general instance of chrome.exe because windows doesn't keep separate application assignment for multiple instances of the same application. is there a way to make this work with multiple monitors where some are 4k and some are 1080? I haven't been able to get it to consistently work
I still find mover/resizer a bit buggy with mixed resolutions. I always keep an eye of BarRaider's Discord for updates and workarounds.
dont work for me.. i have 3 monitors and when i pick the display i want it changes to the display 1 and dont open to the display i want at all
How can I move an APP or URL window to a window on a different virtual desktop?
I use Virtual Desktop Enhancer with a script running from a batch file, that way one of the multi actions opens the batch file and the app is moved to the other desktop of your choice. Virtual desktop enhancer is here: github.com/sdias/win-10-virtual-desktop-enhancer. There are a number of apps that will do this - another one I like is FreeVD: github.com/Marcus-L/FreeVD.
If you only want to move one app all you need to do is create a hotkey in VDE or FVD and then set it up in a multi action on the stream deck. I only use a batch file when I need to do alot of things not always using the stream deck, that way I can make a desktop shortcut.
I'm about to launch a new Discord server for my YT channel community. Topics will be streaming/recording gear, how to, etc... and I will be posting sample files like this (luts, plugins, audio presets, etc.) in addition to all the usual chats, events, etc.... Is the Windows resizer Windows only? I don't see the plug in available in my mac.
Unfortunately Windows only. I miss it when I'm using my Mac and would definitely like to see an OSX version of this plugin.

Can this all be done with the mobile app or just a physical stream deck?
I tested this on the app and it worked when I first made the video. I don’t use the app regularly but I would think is should still be working.
@@askdrtk cool, ty for the reply, I'd did in fact work with the mobile app but I didn't really like it. Do you know can you can just use stream deck pc app without a device connected?
I haven't found a way to execute stream deck buttons on the computer screen so far...would be very handy to place stream deck buttons on the desktop / taskbar... It might be work checking in BarRaider's discord to see if anyone has been working on it.
What camera are you using? I ask because your video looks fuzzy on my PC screen.
I use a Sony A6400 with a SIgma 16mm f1.4 and a Panasonic G4 with a Panasonic 14mm f2.5 / 0.70 adapter for the very wide shots. The Sony/Sigma produce a shallow depth of field for blurred backgrounds and the G7/14mm/0.70 gives me a very wide angle I need for with full width room shot. The Panasonic 14mm is great, but the 0.70 adapter causes the edges to be fuzzy - not ideal, but I am going to upgrade the G7 to a full frame Sony, so I don't want to invest in a 10mm lens for the G7...living with it for now until I decide which full frame to go with... Great question!
@@askdrtk the front facing camera looks pixelated and the one on the side looks nice and crisp. I don't know what it is but I just wanted to bring it up in case you didn't notice.
I'm currently using a Sony A7siii and a 24-70 Sigma lens as a face cam for my 10yr olds channel and it's super crispy and clear after I export off of Adobe Premiere in 4k60. Only reason I upload I 4k60 is to trigger the VP9 codec right off the bat.

Thanks again for letting me know. I record, export from Premiere, and upload in 4k30 at 50Mbps. I will definitely look into this further…
