I recorded this video a bit after Tekken Talk, so some information could be incomplete/wrong. By the way, I already started his Tekken Library guide. Go check it out! bit.ly/tekken8Library
I think the point of getting bb,n,3+4 spending all of your heat is as a punishment. It's a taunt: you basically just waste your heat for some mental damage and a laugh. Not that the move was hugely practical in the first place.
Good breakdown! Your videos always very informative. I do have to ask though, how do you genuinely feel about Heihachi getting more stance stuff? I've been seeing a lot of people not liking it and the direction he's been taken in along with the install. He does look pretty ridiculous but I feel like we wont truly know until he's actually here
I'm not happy with the stance transitions. I'm just hoping that, once he releases, I can play him in a way I find fun without having to rely as much on stances as Reina does. The install's idea looks really fun, tho
@@justApplay Thats fair. If he's too reliant on them instead of them being just more tools to add onto his legacy playstyle, then I would totally understand feeling some type of way about it since he's never been like that. Just sucks seeing so many people doom about the game in general when the game hasn't even been out a year yet
Tekken 8 is heavily pushing stances as a meta. It seems every character is going to have at least one, and going into stances is also more encouraged with them being forced both on hit or block, like Lidia, and having Power Crushes available to protect the user when they don't have plus frames. I'm not entirely happy about that either, but it is what it is.
he got gutted lmao df1 ob -5. Now all my hei friends will understand why I dropped law after solomaining him for 5 years in Tekken 7. It's just a brand new character that happens to look like the old one. Maybe a cousin, Heichahe and Lau or something.
Don't forget f3, Omen (I know it launched in 7 but still had combo utility in Tag 2 I think), bb3+4 (a JOKE MOVE being 1 time use), db1+2. I think our Punch Parry launch is still there but different button now.
Personally I was not a fan of his jab or df1 animations in Tekken 7. Felt too stiff, like they were unchanged since Tekken 1. Which they probably were.
They are generic Tekken 1 animations. That was always one of my favorite things about Heihachi, he was pretty much the last bastion of legacy generic animations like those even after Tekken 7 changed so much of his movelist.
only my opinion At first glance, Heihachi seems OP, but: 1. he still has crap low game, his new low (db3) is -2 on hit with 10 dmg and launch punishable on block (said by TMM), db2 is slow ass move, generic d4 is launch punishable in T8 2. df1 nerf is big 3. no more punch parry in Raijin, only in heat (RAI 1 was my favorite move lol) 4. rip omen (only usable after ws1) 5. stances don't seem so strong (Maybe I'm wrong) And the biggest nerf - b,b 3+4 is only in heat😭 Just strong character, but not super OP will see on September 30th

Jinhachi Sobieska is my favorite character 😊
Why doesn’t this have more views? This is great content man
Heihachi becomes Leroy
Im coming back to this in a month😂
I give him a pass
@@sugoi9680 passport ?
@@Jabermania I complained when Leroy was op but I give Heihachi a pass since I play Mishimas. 🤣
@@sugoi9680 I hate you
his non-grab heat smash reminds me Kazumi's 1+2 grab

It's so bizarre that we're getting Heihachi as DLC this early in the game and Season 1 isn't even over yet...
Ws4 4 is 0 on hit and forces crouch. The main man broke down some stuff and the guides showed some frame data

It may be early to assume this, but, he looks like Reina 2.0.
