  • In collaboration with Zurich food blogger Sarah Blattner (@zueriplausch), Soil to Soul introduces national restaurants that excel in the production and preparation of food with a conscious focus on the earth.
    For us, Restaurant Rechberg 1837 is a "Soil to Soul" restaurant, as it provides its guests with sustainable enjoyment. Carlos Navarro and his team exclusively work with local and seasonal ingredients to ensure that their food is produced and harvested as close to its origin as possible while maintaining close relationships with their producers. The restaurant avoids food waste by utilizing all parts of the ingredients and places vegetables, grains, and legumes at the center of their cuisine. They are fully committed to promoting sustainable eating habits, which help preserve biological diversity and protect natural resources.
    Sarah Blattner takes us on a visit to Restaurant Rechberg 1837, where she speaks with Carlos Navarro, one of the founders, to learn more about him and the background of Restaurant Rechberg.
