    Avery wrote an article about hockey players and managing their finances. It was a really great article so I look forward to reading this book.

    People are so quick to bash this guy. He's just a dude. It's insane how little controversy there is in the NHL, so any little tiny thing stands out.

      Flowmasta Flam everyone's "just a dude", their actions are what define them. that's why everyone thinks Avery is a douche, cause he's done nothing but douchey things

      Meaning he's just an average joe. He doesn't portray as a robot like every other NHL'er.

      Corey hard he was an agitator more like a pest not really an enforcer and in answer to your question no not hockey player but I personally know some British hockey players and I am an ex rugby player so I have been inside a team dressing room and know what players are like as people away from sport everything I read and heard about this individual is negative u ever played???

  • @reedallyn1767

    Don't get your hopes up on the salaciousness of Avery's story. Its a readable, moderately interesting and its obvious that Avery is pushing a "brand". If you like his brand, then you may like the book, thats the sum of it. Its no "tell all" or an "expose", so don't listen to his hype about this book as "one that just had to be written". Intelligent readers will be insulted.

    “no regrets on and off the ice” sooooo nothing about that horribly inappropriate sloppy seconds comment, or that awful dive on Jagr, or the several other dumbass things he’s said and done? okey dokey.

    • @fletchytfc
      @fletchytfc 6 років тому +8

      Listen to what he actually says. 'No regrets' in that he accepts he can't change anything. And he actually said the Cuthbert thing is the one thing he wish he didn't do

      Chris Fletcher Yea understandable I rewatched, just an impulsive comment on my end, mainly as I hate him as a player and public influence. not taking my comment down tho, “no regrets”

    • @oak2494
      @oak2494 6 років тому

      He was line mates with Jagr in NY and they are friends to this day. So that was obviously hashed out. Inappropriate sloppy seconds comment? He privately apologized to Cuthbert for that and he regrets it. He was NEVER suspended for hurting a player or dirty play on the ice. Agitation is part of hockey, has been since day one. Get over it
