Brings back a lot of memories, especially heading out of town towards Clayton. I've traveled that way many times on my way home from visiting my brother on Skyhawk Mountain. It was just the beginning of a 7 hour trip across SC to the NC coast.
I stayed in town for a weekend getaway last year, and it has now become a place that other family members have come to visit regularly. The mountain views surrounding the lake are stunning, and Bell Mountain is definitely one of the more unique mountain peaks I've visited with its odd history. Near the start of the video on the left is a really good barbecue restaurant called Hawg Wild BBQ. Besides the natural beauty right in town, it is pretty central to any other places you may want to visit in far north Georgia like Helen or Brasstown Bald.
The Ridges Resort, just before the start of the video, has lots to offer, also. Not just a great place to stay, but lots of water fun for the kiddies and Mom and Dad, too. There are lots of beautiful places in the area. The drive, in your video, from Hiawassee to almost halfway to Clayton was nice.

I honestly think Hiawassee Is the most beautiful city in North Georgia. Possibly all of Georgia

This place is 100 times better looking in person. No camera will do it justice. It also has a lake! I love this place!
