Simply beautiful...you have a gift for filming - a story teller - a painter whose canvas is always changing.....stay healthy Randy....
Thankyou David, that is a nice way to put it. I appreciate that, hope you and your family have a great Christmas
David said it well ! I second the motion ! Go Randy !!!
Awesome 👏🏽 thanks and Bailey is most adorable 😘
Thankyou for the nice words
I never knew Georgia was so beautiful. North Georgia is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
Thankyou Pam, yes the Smokies get all the attention, but Northern GA has some spectacular scenery
@@TampaAerialMedia My ancestors are from Dalton. They had carpet factories there.
@@TampaAerialMedia i hiked the first half of the appalachian trail and the first 30 miles in north georgia are still my favorite part so far. I hated the smokey mountains honestly, felt like disney land in the woods
I was born raised in Georgia,Helen is my favorite place. I will be 63 Saturday God willing been visiting Helen since I was 18. Always rent a house or cabin from Tangle wood. Stop down at International cafe sit on the porch by the river and have a camel rider a wonderful sandwich. Slice of Helen has great pizza. So beautiful a place
A camel Rider, I'll have to try that, interesting name for a sandwich
Once again, WHAT AN EDUCATION! I knew absolutely Nothing about these areas of Georgia! I never even associated the state with the Blue Ridge Mountains! I can't thank you enough for all you have enlightened me about. Happy Holidays!
Thankyou Dotti, yep I didn't know much about this area either until I did the video
@@TampaAerialMedia The media doesn't like the fact that its a wonderful place.
Doesn’t seem too crowded, even during Oktoberfest. Helen has definitely made my list!
Alot of this was filmed on the very last day of October Fest...Traffic is a stand still though through downtown during October fest
I'm 72 and grew up in N. GA. I remember when Helen was just a speck on the map. My Dad and I trout fished in Helen when I was a kid. Now it is a vibrant City.
Yep it has changed, their marketing plan worked pretty good
As a resident now of GA, we've been to Helen multiple times. You MUST check out Helen during Christmas-so beautiful. And Blue Ridge will take your breath away! Fun off roading! Thanks for a great video!
Thankyou, yea I might have to do a Christmas video of Helen
I can see myself watching this one over and over! Dream road trip to the Blue Ridge and continue down to Helen. So good to see Bailey loving life!
That's great to hear, Bailey has a lot of energy
Here watching & showing support from Barbados🇧🇧
Thank you for sharing I love Helen and it much reminds me of Bavaria where I grew up … well done with much information stay blessed…
Thankyou for the comment, I appreciate that Isabella
This has to be one of your best videos ever. I really enjoyed how you covered some of the top attractions in Helen and the surrounding areas.
Ahh, thankyou, that is very nice to hear, I appreciate that
Thanks for the wonderful travelogue! We moved from CA to FL and never heard of this gorgeous area. Just added it to our list for 2024!
Thankyou MajorDudette for that, very much appreciated. Welcome to Florida, doing slot of FL videos in 2024. I think you'll enjoy Helen
Beautiful place! Randy makes every destination feel like a must-visit. Thanks so much for the content!
Thankyou Eric was good talking with you last night, made me feel much better... Some time in the coming year would like to spend a day looking at your work flow with videos, looking at Divinci Resolve, and discussing ideas.
Beautiful! I’ll have to go someday!!
Nice video. I spent my honeymoon in Northern Georgia. This brings back good memories. My husband really likes Paul’s Steak house. We are hoping to return in 2024. There are many cabins that can be rented in this area and they are very dog friendly. The wineries and the trails are great. One more tip…Spring is beautiful in the North Georgia Mountains.
Yea, I probably should have showed more cabins
My wife and I also honeymooned to Helen in '83. It was a beautiful place with snow on the ground in February. Moved up to White County from South Georgia and have been here since '95.
TAM picked the right time to capture the beauty here in North Georgia and did an excellent job of informing the viewer.
Just WOW🎉🎉🎉 !!! I love❤ these videos !!!
Thankyou DiamondBacking, I appreciate that
Tiger is my hometown, but moved away a few years ago. l alway love watching videos of my neck of the woods.
Thank you so much for this video. My wife and I are celebrating our 2nd Wedding Anniversary next month and we are going here! I really love the amount of history and culture you show in your videos. I also am very excited to check out the places you visited. We also watched your Chattanooga video too! :)
Happy 2nd Anniversary, yea I think it's great for a romantic getaway. Thanks for the feedback, have a great time
super amazing video! thank you for sharing and keep posting amazing videos such as this!
Thankyou, appreciate those nice words. Posting Atlanta this Sunday morning
So sorry for your loss of Bella,I had a mini white poodle named Sandy she lived to be 18,still miss her!
Thankyou Lori, yea poodle are such great dogs easy to train, my heart goes out to you for Sandy
I was in Helen years ago working. Only one day and my job was much the same as it is today: I was a route sales rep for a snack company, so I didn't get to see a whole lot of the town. Very charming.
And the 'Gourd Museum', another local favorite. You will not believe the things that can be done with a gourd.
Wow I just missed you as I visited Helen for the first time in September. I wish I could have seen your video before I went but I did do a few things you showed. Now I need to go back and see what I missed. Take care my friend and Bailey! We never forget Bella!
Thankyou Raul, yes this October is not that far away, you can plan for the next trip, thanks for the comment
Another fine video. We spent a week this spring in Helen and the surrounding area chasing waterfalls and views.
Thankyou for the nice words, yep lots of good water falls in the region
This will have to be on our next trip through there. That looked like a blast
Enjoyable video. Thank you for this comprehensive overview of the area. It's on my bucket list now.
Great to hear, thanks for the feedback. Yea it's worthy of a bucketlist
This video is fantastic! What a way to show a beautiful themed town in the middle of the mountains. We went up there for the first time a few years back and hope to make it up there again. We were there during Octoberfest and it was just one party after another. The music, the food and especially the people were so friendly. I’m so happy this video popped up and can’t wait to go back.
Thankyou for the nice words, yea totally agree about Helen.
I loved beautiful Georgia. What a beautiful state. Everything was fantastic and I think Baily loved it all too. So many great people and your perfect presentation. My mother was originally from Germany, so I am familiar with the food and love it too. Thank you Randy.
Thankyou Rephael, wished I would of had more of that German food
Your travel videos are by far the best on UA-cam! Thank you for sharing
all your knowledge and the wonderful scenery. I literally get inspired to make the trek to a lot of the places you highlight!
Love your new buddy Bailey, but was heartbroken to hear about Bella! 🥲
Keep up the great work, and many blessings to you! Godspeed! 🙏🏼
I agree
In 1971, I rode a Honda CB350 motorcycle from Adel, Ga to Mammoth Cave National Park, Ky on none but back roads. I stopped at Brasstown Bald and to save money I decided to walk up the trail from the parking area to the overlook; sometimes saving money isn't the best decision. I stayed two nights in Vogel State Park, camping in a small tent, before proceeding toward Blairsville, Ga. I remember that trip above all the others I took on that bike because I ran into a hail storm just outside Blairsville. Trust me, nickel size hail on a motorcycle with no windshield is a painful experience.
Fantastic video! I’ve been to Helen twice but didn’t know of many of the wonderful scenery around it.
Glad you enjoyed it!, thanks for the nice words
Thank you so much for the video! Never ever i thought this town existed......but now i'm considering to add it to my buckest list! 😊
You are welcome, great to hear, it is worth a trip
Wow, just wow! I have been wanting to visit Helen for the past 5 years. I am definitely making my way there this year!!!!
Thankyou, yea I think you would like it
Great show, you are very expressive & professional, looking forward to future clips
Thankyou for the feedback I appreciate that
Great video! When you go west to Blue Ridge, don't forget Vogel State Park in Blairsville. It is beautiful.
Thankyou, good suggestion, I'll put that on the list
I really enjoy watching this channel. You do an amazing job. Love your dogs. Merry Christmas to you and your family and fur babies. 🎄🎁
Thankyou Robin, I appreciate that feedback
The helendorf hotel is just awesome my wife and I stayed there when our son and his new wife and son lived in Cleveland Ga and both attended Trueet McConnell 👍
Thanks for the feedback on The Helendorg
It's a beautiful place
Yes it was
Looks like an awesome place to visit. Mother nature is so beautiful!
Yes it is
Love your video and all the information! Thank you
Thankyou Laurie, I appreciate the feedback
I miss Helen. ❤
Miss her too. Best girl I ever had.
Wunderbar! You really did your research! Thank you!
Thankyou, I appreciate that
Lots of great information and loved the footage you shared! We can’t wait to visit!
Thankyou, I appreciate that feedback
Looks like an awesome area. I'm putting it on my bucket 🪣 list.
Yes you should, not too far from you
Like the Greenville video, I love how you highlight other areas around the town. This is another place on my list and I'm hoping to knock Georgia and South Carolina off my list of states
Yea the two areas are within a 90 min to 2 hour drive, would make a good vacation
Looks great Randy. Glad you had a great time there
Thankyou Mike
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow stunning video you are amazing!
Thankyou for the very nice words
That’s my 3 day get away place when I need it. Can’t even count the number of times I’ve been there.
Yep 3 days is about the perfect amount of time to spend there
@@TampaAerialMedia however, I’ve mostly spent my time in the forest around Hell because I love camping and hiking. There are some GREAT waterfalls in that area that are often secluded because they’re so far off the beaten path. Try the pizza in Sautee-Nacoochee.
Hey Randy, nice video! I go to Helen every year for river tubing, and it's awesome! Also, just south of Helen is Gwinnett County Georgia where it has another large lake called lake Lanier, and the largest mall in Georgia, the mall of Georgia.
Thankyou Tate, yea I will show Lake Lanier in the ATL video
Man it looks like I just missed you on this trip. Living in Blueridge mountains, I've been here a handful of times - but you've shown a lot I haven't seen yet. Well organized, thoughtful presentation. Thank you for sharing, subscribing!
Thankyou for subscribing, welcome, yea must be nice living in the Blue Ridge Mtns
Love Helen and go up there 2 or 3 times a year, about an hour and a half drive northeast from here in Woodstock, Ga. Going again in January.
January is a great time to go
Oh man now I definitely want to go there. Beautiful and lots of things to see and do. Bailey is quite at home. Didn't even bark at any of the animals.
She was growling alittle there when the animal responded "Hey, you talking to me?"
Well Done!
Thankyou Bobby
Nice work randy
Thankyou Edmond
It is beautiful. So expensive though for a family of 4.
Thanks!
Ah, thankyou Arthur very kind of you, much appreciated
You took a trip during the prettiest time of year in GA - FALL
Very true
When in Sautee, stop by the 'Mark of the Potter'. It's a retail store and studio for local potters in an old mill.
Yea good suggestion
I went to Dahlonega a long time ago. I didn't know about Helen.
Yep Helen is getting popular these days
22:34 I see one of my favorite shops in Helen, Wildewood.
Yep should have maybe shown more of it
You did a great job on your video, I wish I could work on my editing.
Thankyou Eastern America
God that looks beautiful. I'm sure it is safe compared to Atlanta. I wonder how drunk people get. Looks more like responsible fun rather than a spring break type thing.
That's is a good way to describe it, Responsible Fun
Awesome video. The best little secret in Georgia that you might need to make a video of is Dahlonega, Georgia and head down to the Grand Canyon of Georgia and make a video!
Yea I might include more of Dahlonega, maybe next year when I do Blue Ridge GA
Hello Randy,
I liked your video, I have already visited the state of Georgia, but just the city Atlanta, I spent just one day and one night in Atlanta on the way to Miami.
otherwise, the village Helen, its architecture strongly resembles a certain region in France in Alsace, borders with Germany, moreover before the 2nd world war Alsace was German.
Helen reminds me of a Danish village, I visited it last year, the village is called Solvang, founded in 1911 by the Danes.
the village has remained until now with Danish architecture.
solvang means in Danish (sunny field).
you must once visit it.
You miss Europe, in any case, you are welcome to come to my place, I will show you some magnificent places.
I live 2 hours drive from Holland, Holland is a very beautiful country (Amsterdam).
Thankyou Abdel, yea maybe sometime I should do a trip to Europe, it's just traveling with a dog presents a few more obstacles
We went there in 2020 did our Santa and Mrs Claus there stayed at the Helendorf a great place for us and Dogg.
Christmas is a great time to visit
@DoggsLife2019 filmed an video there❤
Yea I heard Christmas is pretty nice there, thanks for sharing
Well, my next vacation is here!
Yea I think it's worth a visit
Beautiful place. Its also pronounced " appa latch un".
Yea, I found that when people say Appalachia than they tend to pronounce it that way, but when saying Appalachian then it seemed more often people pronounce it the way I did
Hey Randy, maybe you give us some temps too in the videos… looks warm 😂 thanks
Thanks Randy yea that's good advice, I will try to do that more in the future
Have you ever been to Frankenmuth Michigan?
Just looked it up, I see it's a Little Bavaria... Love Michigan, might have to film that town, thanks for the tip
Hi there great video just wondering is that the same puppy (Bella) or is that a different puppy?
It's a different dog. Bella passed away at University of GA while filming the ATL video, will be showing that final day in that ATL video at end of month
Very sorry to hear that my deepest sympathy I know what it is to lose a family pet it really hits hard we lost ours last year in November keep up the great work you do and Merry Christmas God Bless from the Garcias from Miami
Terrica Williams Taft primary princess Lavengra is one
Will you visit Savannah, GA?
Did Savannah in 2021, will do it again but probably won't be til 2025
@@TampaAerialMedia oh, I didn’t know. Will look it up and watch, and I will be looking forward to the 2025 version! Thx!
Went there right after Christmas- cool place but so crowded. Pick a time when there are not 100,000 people crammed into the town.
yea there are lots of times throughout the year when its not as crowded, although I think for October Fest, the people made it really fun
when was this filmed? trying to plan a 2-3 day car trip thru georgia. thnx so much. :)
Most of it filmed last week of October. You do want to hit Helen by the last weekend when it's still Octoberfest. Was there the following week and while it wasn't as crowded, it also wasn't as lively
We have to get some "register" cheese every time we go to Betty's.
Looks like a new puppy, did Bella pass away?
Yes at Univ of GA on day 1 of the trip, will talk about it on the ATL video
Yes! I was the first like!!
Thankyou Mike, I appreciate that
Prost from Germany ;)
Great to hear from Germany, Prost back at you
Hey, forgive me for asking, but did you change dogs? I mean it’s been a while since I’ve watched your videos, but it doesn’t look like the same dog if it is forgive me, I was just curious.
Yes, Bella passed away while I was filming at Univ of GA, which will be in the ATL video. Then I picked up Bailey in Pigeon Forge on this trip
Well in any case you are welcome to come to Europe. Europe is an old continent. there are everything like in the USA, there are hot states like Portugal and Spain (Spain the north is cold with snow the south is hot, Mediterranean climate, the same climate as that of California. France, there is everything, the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and the North Sea. then there is Switzerland, they have a very beautiful landscape, then Belgium (the city of Brugge, Ghent), then Holland, England, Ireland (2 Anglo-Saxon countries). Italy, you will love Italian cuisine, they have beautiful cities like Florence, Venice, Rome (the Roman ruins. Germany, Austria and finally the Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway) you have to go in summer, because it is very cold in winter. You are welcome dear Randy.

Yea the Sacandunavuan countries and Austria would probably where I'd want to go.
IIts like Frankenmuth, MI
Yea I heard about Frankenmuth
Nice video! But it’s saw-tee, not saw-tay!
Thanks for the correction
The word “Appalachian” has no long “A” sound. It’s offensive.
Its pronounced both ways, its a matter of preference
A cheap American knock-off feel. It's definitely not the real thing.
Maybe not but the next best thing if you have limited budget and time
super amazing video! thank you for sharing and keep posting amazing videos such as this!
Thankyou Jammy, I appreciate that
