Can you imagine what it must have been like, living there while the clouds passed through your streets and everyone was going about their daily business in such a gorgeous landscape? To them it must have been so normal... But to us it's so enchanting. Amazing.

I haven't been wanting to go to Peru for so long because of family issues and my dad but this vlog made me want to save money, learn better Spanish and finally visit my cousins and brothers and see all these beautiful places in Peru

A couple of years my mum went to Machu Picchu and she tell me about this. Your video illustrate so well all that she tell me, what an amazing place! Please look at Los Jaivas - Alturas de Machu Picchu, is a chilean group that made music based on Neruda's poem and that video is a piece of art and something historic (it's in UA-cam). I hope you can travel to Chile someday, there are amazing places!

Thank you so much Louis for bringing back such happy memories for me. At 64 I did this same trip on my own, a year ago, Cusco sacred valley, Machu Picchu lake titicacar and walked the same paths you have. I did four days three nights under canvas to get there but travelled back to Cusco by train, amazing life journey I'll never forget and plan next year perhaps Buenos Aires Brazil Iguasus falls, amazing people South Americans loving your blog, keep them coming! Anyone who has been to Machu Picchu understands how Louis was feeling. It's overwhelming because it's almost unbelievable to be standing in actual preserved ruins. It's honestly breathtaking :D! Disfruta Perú Louis!!! Cusco is one of many different areas here :) enjoy!!

I've been living in Lima, Peru since 2011 and going to Machu Picchu is one of the most beautiful and peaceful experiences I've had. It makes you appreciate history and how much humanity has been through to get us to this point. There's son many things we don't know about and I like that because it encourages us to explore and get to know our beautiful world ❤️ btw I hope you enjoy the food, I like it a lot :)
If you ever go again I highly recommend doing the three day hike along the old Inca Trail - way better an adventure than the coach journey! :D

Hey Louis! In India in a town called Aurangabad, Maharashtra there are Buddhist, Jain and Hindu temples that were hidden for centuries from the British, only the locals knew about them. They are called the Ellora (Veru) and Ajanta Caves - you should definitely check them out, they were an other worldly, spiritual experience. Thank you for inspiring us all!
You should visit the patagonia region that's just south of Chile and Argentina. If you love beautiful scenery you would die at its beauty!! It was the best experience of my life and no lie I cried a little
75/100 of this video is top-ten instgram-worthy. Video quality on point. Raya beautifully framed in the archway came as a shock, those passages are so iconic. This was even better than your last visit to Hobbiton; the maccu picchu magic is real.

If any one is thinking of going here, I did the Salcantay trek which is 5 days and it was the most amazing adventure! Otherwise I'd do the 2 day trek from Hydroelectrica, you walk along abandoned train tracks and then climb the steps up to the ruins. It's so beautiful. Much better than the coach.

If you want to see a hidden city.. You should go to El mirador (ancient Maya settlement). It's on the border between Guatemala and Mexico. You need to walk through the jungle for two days to get there with a local guide. It's only partly discovered, most of the city is still overgrown. It s amazing.
I'll be there in two weeks!! if you plan on going to ecuador make sure you visit banos, it's amazing!!

Machu Picchu is really awesome! I actually backpacked for four days on the Inca Trail from Cusco to Machu Picchu. It is so beautiful and the ancient incan city, called Winay Wayna, that we stopped in that is a 3 hour hike the opposite way from Aguas Calientes was really cool because it was just like a mini Macchu Picchu except we had the entire thing to ourselves! I am glad you enjoyed the city so much. Peru is one of my favorite places I have travelled to so far. Where else are you traveling to in Peru?

It's the place we had our first showers in a month after being in the middle of the Amazon with British Exploring.I had the best time but would have loved to do some exploring of Machu Picchu. this brings back beautiful memories! We got there early in the morning too and there was a lot of fog, it felt so mystical walking on the site then. Nothing beats the view from the top of Waynapicchu, though. Feels like the top of the world!
