- Welcome back to my channel! I am SO excited; in this week's video, I take you on an unforgettable journey through the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023. Also, join me as I explore breathtaking floral street displays for the Chelsea in Bloom competition, and get ready to be amazed by the film-themed displays. I also had the pleasure of meeting fellow UA-camrs @MrCarrington and @niallgardens at Chelsea, and I had a peep of Monty Don too! And! Myself and Mr Carrington visited the Java Whiskers cat cafe, and then I finished off my London trip with a visit to the fascinating Garden Museum in Lambeth.

Thank you so much for taking us with you on such a splendid occasion, I’m unlikely to ever get to that part of London or the flower show as at 75 it’s too much walking , but seeing it through your eyes was such a joy , also I loved your beautiful dresses , somehow you make me feel young again ❤️
What a great trip you took us on, hard to believe that beautiful building was nearly destroyed for a car park😱 - what a lovely tribute to build a garden museum to commerate the altruistic act of saving it ❤❤. A dear friend of mine and I go off every year to the Philidelphia Flower Shower in Pennsylvania. We take a college tour bus to go from Maryland to it. It is a beautiful day of friendship and enjoying the artistry of the displays. It is amazing how like there real flowers must be used. Because it is indoors in a massive convention center lights shows are also included. This year there was a butterfly walk through. It was so much fun to watch a as they landed on you. Leaving the pop up glass building you walked through several screening areas so not to take any beautifies home with you.

Catherine thank you so much for giving an American old lady a view of Chelsea and parts of London I wish I had seen when I was there in 2014. In the US I watched the videos on BritBox, but I was so disappointed in this year’s gardens. I think they went overboard on the sustainability theme and restrictions. All the show gardens were just green on green with very few flowers and colours. After all, it is a “flower” show! 😊 Your video showed more flowers than the others did. I especially enjoyed the cat cafe. ❤ I always enjoy your thoughtful and positive videos.
Yes, there was definitely more wildlife and weed planting for the birds. I think it is nice to have sections of that and then balanced with the lovely floral borders too x

Hi Catherine, this was the most wonderful video. Thank you so much for sharing your travels with us. When we were in London we walked past that Garden Museum. What a crying shame that we never had time to go in. And.... a car park that would have been a great thing... NOT!
I have no doubt that lady let you into where the cats were for the free exposure she will have views by squillions. ♥♥♥ the hedgehog. I could have spent hundreds in some of those places. Considering the conversion from Aussie dollars I would have to choose wisely.

That was a lot of fun. I watched the first Chelsea flower show episode yesterday so recognized some of the gardens you videoed. All the shops and the walk around London made me miss that area so much. Thank you for showing us all the beautiful flower displays.

So I know over in Europe the botanical gardens the gardens. Are absolutely gorgeous, but the walks you’ve been taking us on to see how they have made flowers come to life by my fair lady the dinosaurs the panda bears OMG I can’t even begin to mention everything that you have in this video absolutely gorgeous!! You know, as you’re showing different places I forget how much floral and paisley and bright colors of the European countries use more than we in the United States and it’s absolutely beautiful! It’s some thing that has gone out of style here in the US. They are more bland and white and minimalist. They don’t want all that beautiful color, so I’m so happy you show it to us . I have a tendency to live vicariously through you.❤❤
