If you only KNEW the condition I was in, the mental state, the circumstances and challenges...God is REAL. I don’t care how many times my generation chooses to deny Him. I’m 24 years old and have lived more life than some people who are double my age…and there will always be challenges to face, but knowing I’m not in it alone is everything. A lot of people can get up and sing a song but not everyone can perform one from the heart and soul and that is what Roman Collins did. Just wow. I was disappointed to see him go but sadly felt this song might've been a little too much Jesus for some... which is too bad. All of his songs were my favorites. He's so blessed and gifted. Everything he sang was absolutely wonderful and he had such control over his vocals.... such passion... and what a big personality! Everything an American Idol should be! Sing on Roman.... bless this crazy world with your voice and passion. 💜💙💜

I'm most impressed by his control, because with a big stage and the lights and the excitement and also how it's obvious how much he feels everything he sings, the restraint at the start is amazing, how he keeps building and building. Personally I don't connect that much to the song and I do have other voices this year that I like more, but I'm still amazed by how he controls a song and never lets nerves or excitement or emotions take the driver seat instead in a way that makes it all come together really well.
