Yes they can :D put out sport patterns that are only outside shots, cuz outside 5 is sometimes the ideal line with a pitch black or spare ball. I'm 2 handed and gotta play wolf and del ballard there.
I do great on first arrow with my Pyramid Path! Best part is no one in my league bowls my line, so I don't have to adjust as much during my series. Tournaments... are another matter. :-D
I kinda want a first arrow lover on my team as long as he keeps his equipment wiped off and uses a good ball. Should give me more miss room for when I miss three boards right.

6:00 ......... I sometimes play that line...... Usually on the nights where I cannot work out what is going on with the lane. And mostly because i typically have no clue what is going on haha
Do you think it’s worth it to get the phaze 4 if you already have the phaze 2?
What’s your thoughts/comparison to the phase 3 between all those balls? Where do you think the phase 3 fits with those?
I just recently won the Storm Phase 4 but haven't got it drilled yet. I bowl a more direct line, second arrow to pocket, will this ball work for me? I have never had a Storm ball, I bowl with hammer balls.
I have a small suggestion idk if it's possible but for the reviews maybe have Jesse throw a ball or 2 for the two handers

Would you say the p4 is similar to the marvel peal? Similar specs. Just curious if it would be worth buying if I have the MP already

Playing the first arrow is great when you are just learning to hook the ball and have a lower rev rate. Especially with the weaker balls that are cheaper than the high performance balls, the first arrow helps out when you need it
Using the first arrow also has a higher chance to gutter, better to play more in than risk a gutter.
Considering getting into bowling what starter ball would you recommend?

Even though i bowl with it out of the box polished how do i control the back end , our lanes in Australia are just to dry , what finish should i use to tame the ball down, i am a power stroker to a tweener release. Phaze4

They are banned in national events. But can be used in local tournaments, and leagues at least for the remainder of the year.

What oil patterns do you use to promote ball evaluations?
I use two hand when I bowl and I’ve been looking for a ball that I can trust to hook strong through heavy oil. Looking for that hockey stick transition in the back end.

Also, that phase 4 worked sooo much better when you moved left and threw it slower. Looked beautiful and crushed the pocket.

I bought myself a phase 4 this year and I can't get it to hook. Granted I haven't league bowled in 14 years but my previous ball was a storm trauma ER and I could get it to hook 5-8 boards no issue my ohase 4 may as qell be a straight ball. I'm beginning to think my drilling have been fudged. I'm so disappointed.
Darren, you're completely unbiased opinion on the Zen ball. Is it really that good? I asked my PSO about it because I am interested in getting one for myself and he said that it was hot at first but people got away from it because "it's all smoke and no fire". Full disclosure I'm a Brunswick guy but am very open minded with any brand. I have a Hyroad, because, I mean it's a Hyroad. Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks.

I play far right from time to time. My local centers have some pretty whack oiling schedule and the pattern is mad in consistence

All though it sucks not seeing a variety of ball brands being you're sponsored by storm... I do enjoy seeing what a ball does when you miss a target. Other people like to only show a ball striking.

Darren, the layout 4x4x whatever means nothing ti me, like alot of ball reviews. I could know more if I look at it. A lefty , and older, I just need to look at the layouts. Can u do that ? I have the 4 I just wanna see how mine compares to your two
Given everyone has different positive axis points, there really isn’t a reason to compare your layouts to anyone else.

What’s the gem going to be like?
I play around the outside part of the lane because my rev rate is too low.
I play that line with a Tropical Surge and it holds and I have a TON of hand in the ball :) (Up 5 - Lefty)
I work at storm on the leathe, so there is a chance I cut that ball of yours lol. I put pride into the job so hopefully that increases your strike chance.
You've come a long way from when you and your brother bowled at Serra Bowl. I think you were 10 yrs. Old? Mike Leong was manager at the time. Anyway, Happy to see your bowling career is doing well.

What’s better for league a pin up phase 2 or a pin down? I’m curious I just got my first phase 2 yesterday and I’m not sure how I want to drill it.

I play up first arrow if nothing else works. I will bowl there with a heavy house ball I found at goodwill
The pour on the weaker phaze 4 looks nice going down the lane. If I could get a pour like that I’d get the p4 over the zen lol

So im a HUGE fan of the phase 2 and the phase 3. Love both of them and was really excited for the phase 4. but to my surprise it fell way shorter than all of the hype and anticipation had me ready for it. It didnt have that perfect smooth motion that my phase 2 gives me. Its way to jumpy and angular than i was hoping it woule be like its counter parts. The real one that surprised me was the spectre. The spectre will definitly find its way into my bag.

The phaze 3 was that way out of the box for me. Had to scuff the cover stock and it’s better, but not great

I play on some old lanes and a old center, three of my team mates bowl on 5-7 up the lane and never move the whole night... cant stand it lol

Looks like a winner to me. One of my favorite balls on house and sport was hyroad pearl. Same cover on here. I think this ball is going to be used quite a bit. Enjoy your video. Maybe this will be my 900 series ball!?!
