I thought it was just my wrist getting tired and not snapping as much as it should, but trying to get more hand in it typically changed nothing (and left me with a sore wrist). As someone with low-med revs, I didn't think I could possibly be burning up, but it turns out that was exactly the case - I started balling down in later games and got my angle back. If you run into that situation, try it!

Alot of bowling depends on the pattern difficulty and length, and more so how we throw the ball. Kind of an impossible question to answer. Following the Proton with the Phaze II appears to be a decent option, just being they are both early to read the lane. Grain of salt from anyone that isn't you or a coach though, because we don't know anything about how you throw cheif.
Ball reviews on house shots are difficult to really get a good idea on a new ball. Like it’d be great if someone did ball reviews using two lanes. One with a short pattern and one with a long pattern. Of course at this point layout might come into play but there’s ways around that.
Luke Rosdahl was doing reviews on a house shot and an USBC sport pattern. Now he'll be using Kegel's Chromium pattern, which isn't as hard as the sport pattern but definitely not as easy as a house shot.

I have a question about the Absolute, in your opinion do you think it's a good ball to replace the phase 3 my wife currently uses. In the league, she opens with her Proton Physic and then transitions to the Zen and then has her Phase 3. Looking for a new Hybrid, what do you think? Thanks, Sam

Quite possible that it may be niche, given the core/cover combo. That said, it still looks quite good. Honestly, it might fit best as a tournament ball, not unlike the X-2 (at least from what I've seen at tournaments over the past year or so).
To me this looks similar to an intense fire type ball. Asymmetrical hybrid that is a little rounder than other asyms and I love my intense fire. The specs are pretty similar but it’s a different core.
Question about upcoming season - is Flowbowling still going to be streaming qualifying rounds? The schedule on their app doesn’t show anything for 2023???

Jr pro shop does videos with a house shot and a challenge pattern. They use all sorts of balls from a bunch of different brands.
