Awesome videos! I've binge-watched nearly all of them, and most at least three times over. These are extremely helpful and easy-to-follow with high quality instruction! Would be awesome if one day you could make a video on navigating big intersections. I'm sure many learners out there struggle with the 'right of way' confusion 😬 For anyone wondering whether to get some lessons with Iluka Driving school or not, you should absolutely do it! You won't regret it. I 100% recommend David as an excellent instructor who will help you to feel more confident and be more skilled!
Thanks Aletheia!
Awesome !! That’s invaluable lesson for me I learned a lot from the whole series video. Thank you so much. I will participate the test next week in Joondalup😎😎
Do we still need to observe school zone speed when there are no classes? Like today, do we need to observe that today?
Only on gazetted school days.
HELLO COULD WE GET HOW TO REVERSE PARK
ONLY BY LOOKING AT THE REARVIEW MIRROR
NOT SIDE MIRROR LEFT OR RIGHT OR BEHIND U AT ALL
ONLY ONLY THE REARVIEW MIRROR
WITH LEFT HAND ON THE STERRING WHEEL
AND UR RIGHT HAND ON BEHIND RIGHT PASSENGER SEAT HEAD
THE REASON I REQUEST THIS IS BEACUSE I HEARD IT VERY VERY DIFFICULT THING TO DO
BUT I WANT TO LEARN IT PLEASE
You need to turn your head and look both ways behind you because a pedestrian or another vehicle could approach from the side. Your rear view mirror only shows you what is directly behind at any given point in time. Your looking needs to be a combination of turning your head, using all mirrors and occasionally glancing at your camera (if you have one). If you don't look behind properly (in all directions) you might likely fail your driving test.
What is Section 5 during the driving test?
It's a general drive after the completion of the 2nd exercise. It finishes back where the test commenced.
My driving test is still months away, just a question, do you do mock up test?
Yes, but only in Joondalup and automatic only.
Parking forward in joondalop
Forward parking is one of the easier driving manoeuvres and shouldn't be a common reason to fail. If a candidate can't forward park properly then they definitely aren't ready for solo driving and the reality is that they shouldn't be attempting their driving test yet. Thanks for watching.
Bit of positivity. What are the top 10 reasons for passing the driving test?
Lack of positivity? Maybe - but this content is aimed at people who are embarking on a new and unknown process - some of whom might be in need of a reality check. Many candidates and their parents believe that they're "a good driver" - but what are they basing their assessment on? You can't just "turn up" and expect to pass.
An "off the top of my head" list of reasons for passing might be:
Preparation i.e. "PERFECT Practice Makes Perfect"
Attitude
Aptitude
Knowledge of road rules (self learning to complement tuition)
Common Sense
Coolness under pressure
Receiving proper instruction from an early stage
Treating every drive like it's your test and not lapsing into bad habits
Keeping it simple - not overthinking things
Attention to detail with test prerequisites (log book, hazard perception test)
But remember, the driving test can still be failed despite getting 99% of it correct - unlike most exams - so paying attention to the small things that can catch you out is vitally important!
