Yes. A lot of places won’t work on them because they don’t have a vehicle lift that supports the vehicle weight. Helps to be near a big city. There’s a couple places that work on utility vehicles. Those are the once you want to contact
Were you towed? I lucked out and it died in my driveway. Had to have it towed 13 miles. Not just anybody can work on a Roadtrek let alone have a lift that will support 6000 pounds.
@@KruisinKevin Yes I forgot to add the word towed in my comment. I was very lucky, van died on the side of the highway and after 20 minutes of calling AAA, a flatbed showed up and even though I thought I was in the middle of nowhere the next exit had a full service shop that fixed it. I uploaded a video of the experience if you want to check it out. My tow bar also scraped the ground. There is no way to tow them without that happening.
@@SilverTurtle65 I’ll check the video. Yeh, I believe the only way to avoid a scrap is maybe using levelers? Seems all I needed was just a few inch clearance. Thanks for sharing
I may have missed it. But if you can could you let us know where you got your new computer from? I feel the probability that is what is wrong with my mother's Roadtrek. Thanks.
You are blessed with a good mechanic.

Had to have my Roadtrek 210 on the way to Arizona back in 2019, Alternator went bad on the road. Got lucky and was back on the road 5 hours later.

@@KruisinKevinyeah, the wooden levelers that come with the RV might help if you could put them under the back tires as the hitch gets close.

Hello. Sorry I’m late on comment. The company was, Car Computer Exchange. So far no problems. Van runs like a top
I Feel for U,, I had a Feeling it was that PCM Computer, I had a Dodge Ram Van 1500 with a V6 Mine went out , It sucked cuz I was Far from Home,,
Thanks. Seems Dodge is notorious for them going out. Lucked out it died in the driveway.
I’ve heard horror stories about towing them.
That was poor the guy should have figured something out other than scratching your driveway because its easier.
Yep. I had to tell him to level the lift out. Could have been worse if I hadn’t been there. If it ever happens again, I’ll use levelers.
great to hear a solution, was wondering how to solve this issue other than removing the hitch.@@KruisinKevin
