You so get how that’s worse?” I’m glad OP has her husband, friends, grandpa, and her aunt and uncle in her life. I’m also glad she got to unload on her mom and brother. She’s right about her father. He had over two decades to advocate for her and let everything happen until he got exposed.

Sounds like her mother's side of the family doesn't care about her at all. Otherwise they wouldn't be just like her mother. *Shrugs* Though it sounds like her mother and her mother's sisters knew about the abuse and think it was deserved. If they are okay with that, maybe CPS should be contacted and investigate their treatment of their children? At least her father's side of the family cares about her, as they care about family.
