There was a gem of wisdom in there, "There's 5 things to think about and you need to practice until you don't need to think about them anymore" - Really good point, sums up how to learn any trick!
Watched this, learned it, and now years later it's my go to fakie trick and I couldn't remember for the life of me where I learned it from. Hahaha thanks for this its such a fun trick. Ride should do a whole vid on weird sweeper/foot plant variations. God they're soo fun and rare to see.
Iv been approaching this trick riding up forward front foot off then opening the can and dropping back in switch. So it works riding up Fakie too right on
I wanna try this but i dont have a bowl, mini ramp, quarterpipe or any thing like this. I wanna skate a bowl or a minaramp or ecen a quarter pipe so bad because ive never skated one and they look super fun
It's about time he gets the last part in a Zero video.Hmmm... I have an idea for the brilliantly titled Cold War vid! How about Meleshinski gets the first part followed by Burman, Sauder, Marisa. Then comes Thomas (if he make a full part), Tony C, Brockman, Garrett Hill, T-Guns, Lil' Jamie, Cole and finally...John! (I forgot to add the new guys)
Actually this trick is what some would call "oldschool", quite popular in the 80's. In this video (/watch?v=b82IXvrdFAA) you can actually see Tony Hawk doing it on a vert ramp. Its name is kinda weird and yeah, I didn't know it was called this way but I did see the trick done a couple of times.
its funny how alot of the "wierd" stuff he did in that part is now popular. i wonder if in 10 years time can opener's and river dance's will be all the rage
yep he's a badass but he's not underrated skater.. hes a skaters skater just like busenitz but busenitz, ramondetta and he's been killing it since the zero skateboards started
