Cutest bike assistant I've ever seen. What a doll!
Aw thanks.
Still rocking my Blue and Orange Headlands frameset...but those new colors are outstanding! Nice one.
Thanks mate. Love the blue and orange.
Love this frameset, mate... solid build and your apprentice mechanic is cute as a button and appears to be on the right track! (I have an almost 5yo and a 2.5yo who want to help me until things take more than 5min 😛 )
Cool bike . Its great you teaching kiddo how to fixs bike's.
Thank you. She loves learning this stuff…she helps me with everything even the editing. 👌🏼
Lovely color and bet you will have some super rides on it. Even better little munkey with the cat. "Hold-uh."
I can’t wait to get out and ride it.
that frameset looks mint mate. tidy!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Great build Dave, kiddo looks like she enjoys it too, I’m just coming out the end of Covid and looking forward to getting back out on the bike.
Nice bike mate, color is amazing!
Thank you
Beautiful frame 👍
Looks awesome, simple as that. Nice work Dave.
Thank you
Love that gold/bronze colour, Dave!
Great to see you teaching kiddo the ways as well. I recently built a bike up with my boy and it was such a great way to spend some quality time with him. As it was a bike for him, I even managed to keep his attention for a while! 😂
Thank you. It’s really fun/slightly stressful building with kids but so worth it. She’s getting pretty good it at now. 👌🏼
Beautiful bike fair play Dave looks gorgeous.
Thanks mate
That looks Stonking! Marin really nailed it with the colour. Love the bling chain, proper tart's accessory 👍😂
They really did! You calling me a tart? 😂😂😂
Great colourway for a frame set 👌🏻
It really is!
Great video as always Dave. Bike is a stunner! Would like to hear your thoughts/experience on the e*thirteen cassette. Thinking about getting a couple for an upcoming build. Cheers!
That looks awesome, good build. Brakes can be tricky and if you aren't confident getting help is the way to go.. .some things you can get wrong... brakes should not be one of them!
100% I think I need to do it a few times supervised first before being left to my own devices.
Looks very nice Dave.. :) Pete
Thanks Pete
Really digging that colour dude, I have bike envy 😂
I definitely like this colour much more than i expected
Alpkit frame bag totally matches the beautiful frame 👌🚲👍
Bloody perfect isn’t it?!
@@DaveNoakes absoFlippinLutely! 👍
Ya best looking bike yet 👌
Thank you 🙏🏽
Good vid as always Dave and yes EVERYONE needs help at times and shouldn’t be afraid to say so! 👍🏻 Great looking bike mate, especially the colour, that frame bag goes so well! 😎👍🏻 You forgot to mention the size of your front chain ring? What you going to do with your old frame? Do you have an Amazon link to that “Goldie looking chain”? 😁
Blessings from Dorset! 🙏😎👍🏻
Thanks mate. I’m proper happy with how it turned out. The front chainring is a 40t.
Here’s a link…although I can’t say I recommend it.

bike looks well nice Dave, be good to get a review on the chain after you've ridden it a few miles - certainly better value than my current KMC gold chain which has taken a beating over the winter and UK slop - good to see kiddo and the cat helping out, gotta love school hols :)
Thanks mate. Ok so first impressions of the chain are…it doesn’t have as much side to side stiffness as a kmc…feels cheap…let’s see how it goes. I just bought a new cassette for £40 to pair with it. 😂
@@DaveNoakes guess the cheaper stuff will always suffer from lower grade materials and give less performance - it's a trade though, maybe use the cheaper stuff through the winter slop and change over to the good stuff once the weather gets better? I'm in for a new casette, chain & BB bearings now (well if I will ride through slop and floods!) - I should have just changed them out to cheaper after market components rather than ruining the SRAM stuff over the winter! even if the performance isn't quite there, it could be better value for UK winter time trail riding! be good to see how the chain/casette combo goes and if it's worth it or not - cheers
Love it
Thank you
Very nice bike, one thing i would do is paint the quadlock holder black ;)
It’s also available in black
Dave them jockey wheels are toast.....
They really are aren’t they!
Nice colours, and bike , evan though brakes and gears aren't my thing these days. The chain gives it a great finish 👍 Also you build bikes in sweatshirts I wear for best 😂
Thanks mate. This sweatshirt is both for building bikes and best 😂
Beautiful bike. The color looks amazing . What are you using to mount the bag to the Top Tube? On the Alpkit website they show Velcro to mount the bag.
Thank you. It’s just a long piece of elastic cord. Looks a bit nicer than the Velcro imo
@@DaveNoakes It's actually a great Idea and looks so much nicer
What size wheel tire combo is that? Looks incred
700c wheel 44c wtb Raddler tyre 👌🏼
Very JEALOUS
😁😁😁
Kiddo VanGogh rules.
👌🏼 sure does
Is it the same bike apart from the colour
Few little tweaks…but none to geo or carbon layup.
What is the weight of it?
Gimmie a few to find my scales
9.4kg with pedals, cheapo chain, frame bag and water bottle. Could deffo get it down to around 8/8.5
Thanks! 9.4 with all of that is vey very good weight.
So you’re building a bike that’s mediocre at everything
A bike is as good as it’s rider…so mine is just under mediocre 😂
Having children appear in a video is not a good idea - good until that point
😂why? I’m a single parent, my daughter is a huge part of my life. She enjoys building bikes…I see no problem.
