Meal prep is everything. I also freeze my plant based milk to add to coffee as well and either way you can add a liquid sweetener like allulose and they'll be sweetened if you like.😊💞☕
One tip when you defrost things in cold water it makes the process much quicker. I love your videos and am thinking about making your vegan macaroni and cheese.

If I need my frozen tofu right away, I put it the microwave and use the speed defrost setting. I speed defrost in 2 minute intervals . Tfs and loved that large Japanese knife.

in terms of calories, it’s most helpful to be mindful of the fat content as plant based diets can feature a high amount of nuts and seeds. some of her options were sautéed in broth instead of oil so that would decrease the caloric count quite a bit. best point of advice is being conscious of how much fat you use, increase fibrous veg and be wary of excess sodium and sugar in prepackaged items like the imitation meat she used. plant based diets are usually less calories than most but they can still add up w/o understanding of good nutrition. wish you the best!

I'm curious did you put the tofu in the air fryer after you sauted/cooked it in your skillet? I don't have much experience with tofu so I'm learning, thanks.

@@Shakaylafelice Research tofu. Soy is genetically modified. Safest forms of soy is tempeh, miso. They have been fermented. I believe also natto. Make sure soy you are using is organic. There is also pumfu which is made from pumpkin seeds.

I like having the must haves in my cabinets, fridge and freezer. The New Year is next door. I may try meal prepping just to see if it makes a difference. I like variety too! I find that if I can make some pieces ahead of time I can throw something together much more quickly. I try to make a big batch of grains, a protein, a few vegetables, and a sauce and then use that to make many different meals throughout the week. So for example, with rice, crispy chickpeas, chopped up cucumbers and tomatoes, and roasted cauliflower, I can make 1)Greek bowls with rice, chickpeas, and raw veggies with greek seasoning, olives, and some dressing. 2) burrito bowls with rice, chickpeas, tomatoes, add your favorite taco toppings 3) Buffalo chickpea and roasted cauliflower wraps with cucumber/tomato salad on the side just add sauce and dressing 4) soup with rice, chickpeas, some broth and a bag of frozen veggies and seasoning of choice 5) chickpea and roasted cauliflower salad with a baked sweet potato and some greens and a honey mustard dressing.

Hey lady. I have a juicer and just started using it. Believe it or not, my kids LOVE the juice. And they help me by putting the fruit and veggies in. They also give me ideas. It's great that they want to eat and be healthy. Which makes it easier for me. By the way, LOVE YOU!!
Add lime juice to your green juice (after you juice it all) and it changes the game!!! Something about the lime and ginger - amazing.
And it serves as a natural preservative it also aids in breaking down mucus in your body and builds your immune system!

Yeaaa, I did the same when I first started out. Those meals can be very delicious and I enjoy them sometimes but simple meals are my go-to

I think it’s just a personal preference and depends on how I’m feeling lol. Some days I leave some days I remove it. No real reason
