It doesn't matter what the dresses look like. If they think they look beautiful they can wear what ever they want because it's there day. Don't let people tell you your dress is ugly. If you think you look beautiful than own it. Don't let what other people think about your dress get you down. No one deserves to feel like that especially on their wedding day.
Makes me glad I sewed my own wedding dress. Cost me $60 for the fabric, and while it's not the best or fanciest dress I've ever seen I was happy with it.
You know, some of these designs don’t look too bad, they are just not my personal idea of beautiful. They might be perfect for another type of occasion. Fashion show, movie premiere, etc., but the brides obviously WANTED to look like that for their big day, so who am I to judge? Interesting video nonetheless! 😊
From someone who has been through many of both Weddings and Funerals - there is NO WRONG WAY to do them. It is YOUR ceremony, YOUR day. Guess what? A few years down the line, no one will remember anyway. It's the stress of trying to get everything "right" that causes problems. My friend was married in New Orleans in a red dress. She and her bridesmaids wore black feather boas. Everyone got properly drunk afterward. Do it whichever way YOU want! It's YOUR day. Just sayin'
I completely agree with you! I went down the aisle in essentially a suit coat and a skirt (looked better than it sounds…), both white. We were busted-ass broke. His tux rental was more than my outfit cost 😊
@monicahyland8641 Honey, when you post stuff to social media you are literally asking the world to look at it. People can do what they want, sure, just realize that everyone else has the right to judge those choices once they are made public.
It is your wedding, wear what you like. If some don't like it, screw them. Personally, I think a lot of these dresses are just fine and some are fugly. Keep in mind that opinions are like a$$holes, we all have one. Shine on and you do you.
I used to make wedding dresses. One year my friend, and I made a beautiful pale pink silk dress to her knee open back, built in bra. It had silk lace. Beautiful, it the client perfectly. She wore a three hook, purple bra, and cowboy boots. Terrible
As long as that woman felt beautiful the day of her wedding who are we to judge. If you look back to the 80s and 90s wedding dresses look crazy to us,but back then it was the style. Wear what makes you feel the most beautiful on your wedding day period
I don't think the met gala's theme was wedding, but if you want to stretch that far....got married in 89. Illusion neckline, leg o mutton sleeves, v shaped veil. Did the whole package. Turned it into a halloween costume 20 years later.
Far too many young brides are over trying to be sexy. One, don't try so hard - especially in the sexy because that should be something you shoot for after the wedding. For the wedding going classic and elegant is always a winner. No, it's not edgy and its not hot but, that is not what you want in a wedding. Elegant is the key. Always shoot for elegant.
I just don’t get how ladies with big sagging breasts are allowed to leave a bridal shop in a no-support strapless gown…. It doesn’t really show the shop in good light, much less the bride.
OK, wedding dresses are difficult. So much emotion, not enough money--I get it that some brides wear disasters. What bugs me is that designers put out absolute sh*t and try to pretend it's tasteful.
The photo of the Trump wedding (Tiffany?): the bride’s dress was lovely, imo. Relatively understated and elegant, particularly considering it was a Trump! That woman in black is Don Jr.’s s.o., Kim Guilfoyle. I not only thought the black dress was a riot (is that a black panel “train” on the back of the dress?!), but found her placement in the photo so telling…she appears to be a total afterthought! (“…uh, who? oh! uh, yeah, ok, let her in.)
I'm so glad I got married in a plain white linen dress with asymmetric neckline with white embroidery along it. My roomie got it in a thrift store but it was too big for her. Total cost: about $6 to get it dry cleaned.
I have found some of these dresses were awful, that some brides didn't have the body for the dress they have chosen but there was nothing wrong with the dress itself, and that some people just believe their taste is the absolute truth when it comes to wedding dresses and were simply being judgemental
Many, many years ago I was married in the month of November. I always dreamed of a white velvet gown and I wanted my mother to make it. She did and it was beautiful
Oh the alterations thing. A friend of mine who is the cheapest person I’ve ever known said her off the rack dress (which was stunning) was “fine”. The bra area was about two sizes too big and is positively dented in half the wedding photos. Why??
Oh my! Ugly doesn’t even start to describe these. I get that everyone’s taste is different but seriously…let’s just hang our tatas and vgg out for all our wedding guests to admire? And NO BOWS!!
Yes I didn't like all the dresses but that is just my opinion and because it's my opinion that doesn't mean it's right. Also if a bride wants to wear a white dress that has some camo in it that is her choice. Like for example I have a sister that really likes camo and I think she would look beautiful wearing a white dress that has a hint of camo in it.
Does no one believe in proper undergarments any more, even for a WEDDING? I HATE seeing a brides belly button and cellulite through the dress! WEAR A SLIP!
Yeah I enjoy looking at the dresses, they sure are unusual and out of this world and reflect the tastes of those wearing them... but your comments just run people and creativity down and dont really work.
Some of these dresses I have to say….what were they thinking??? While a couple were okay, but not my style. Some would’ve made better night wear for the honeymoon…lol!
I also think that everyone has a right to their opinion. But not when they're using it as an excuse to be unkind and judgmental. I also think the comments that this person put in the video were very rude and unkind.
Have you seen the wedding dress of Lady Diana??? It's worse than these dresses in your video. I know the 80s were the worst for fashion but she was a princess dressed in abomination.
Even if you got past the excessive puffs, ruffles, and bows, the designer was an idiot to use a fabric that was so prone to deep creases from sitting and having to fold up the voluminous skirt and train. In an interview she said that they made the trial dress from a similar fabric instead of the final fabric to save money. Surprise! 🤦
2:59 Alternate caption "Don't wait too long to settle down ladies, this is what your wedding will look like if you wait til that clock starts ticking and have to take whoever you can get before it's too late." You think any little girl ever dreamed of a wedding like that, to a guy dressed like that? 😂
These "dresses", or whatever they are called, are really horrible. I have an idea that the grooms were all embarrassed upon seeing their brides. Why do some brides think that it is cool to wear something shocking on their wedding day? Keep it simple and you will be comfortable.
the white of the wedding dress was added by the christians only a few hundrerd years ago. so whichever colour your country’s tradition says is a better bet for your wedding dress. lamentably, those white merengue dresses cover the world like a fungus nowadays. in Japan, white is the colour of mourning, though… as patchdavis35 wrote: it is your day, do wear whatever you decide.
"A baked potato exploded" 🤣
You will never look like the model in the ad. I had my dress made to my design. I did the beading on the lace and it was beautiful. I spent $500.
It doesn't matter what the dresses look like. If they think they look beautiful they can wear what ever they want because it's there day. Don't let people tell you your dress is ugly. Not everyone can do that nor has time to. Thanks for being condescending
I’m sure you looked amazing.
If yours is not in this clip, you got away 😅
It saves money! and hey, that makes it better, less money being spent
I like some of these
You know, some of these designs don’t look too bad, they are just not my personal idea of beautiful. They might be perfect for another type of occasion. Fashion show, movie premiere, etc., but the brides obviously WANTED to look like that for their big day, so who am I to judge?

Hmm. Actually liked quite a few in this video.
To the person who thought a dress gave 80s vibes, it’s nothing like 80s wedding dresses. Too simple 🤭🤭🤭

100% it’s your day.. wear what makes you feel good about yourself.. who are we to judge someone’s wedding day. We weren’t invited.
All people remember is the food
@monicahyland8641 Honey, when you post stuff to social media you are literally asking the world to look at it. People can do what they want, sure, just realize that everyone else has the right to judge those choices once they are made public.

Yup
Agreed, most I find ugly but others, while not my style are not that terrible. 😮
💯💯💯
My wedding dress, was a high necked, Victorian inspired number. Still beautiful today. The design was kept simple.
I’m glad I decided on a suit!
There's reasons the bridal salons serve free champagne.

oh boy would make me cry
@@heididepotter8136 It made me angry. She paid $ 30. 000 for that dress. Trashy people
@@Hunter225 dsrespectfull and no fashionsence at all. I would be angry too
Oof! I mean just why?
@@Hunter225 That price is armed robbery!
My parents gave us 10 grand to not have a wedding and get married at the courthouse so I wore jeans and a Guess sweater 😅❤
I would say you talk to blame the bride for choosing the dress, but you have to blame the designer for designing the dress
😂❤It Is clearly a taste situation but mostly laugh or cry😂😂😂
I rented mine. I loved from the minute I saw it.
Thanks for the heads-up. On my way to get a new to me t shirt that matches my jeans and sneakers. Then look out Vegas here I come. Roflol

4:18 - Arm sleeves?? As opposed to what other kind of sleeves exactly? 🤔
Sleeves that actually attach to the dress.
@@tastx3142 I figured that. It just struck me funny. 😁
Some of these are just bad photography, some are the wrong under garments causing problems and the rest are just..... damn!
OK, wedding dresses are difficult. So much emotion, not enough money--I get it that some brides wear disasters. What bugs me is that designers put out absolute sh*t and try to pretend it's tasteful.
And brides keep buying this crap for so many thousands of dollars! The lack of even a little bit of good taste is astounding!
It was a bit mean to put Tiffany Trump in here, just to snark at Kim Guilfoil & Lara (is it?) I'm no fan, but the wedding dress didn't fail.
The photo of the Trump wedding (Tiffany?): the bride’s dress was lovely, imo. Relatively understated and elegant, particularly considering it was a Trump! Tiffany looked really pretty as a bride.
I'd wear 90% of those dresses 🤣🤣🤣
I'm so glad I got married in a plain white linen dress with asymmetric neckline with white embroidery along it. My roomie got it in a thrift store but it was too big for her. Total cost: about $6 to get it dry cleaned.
Apparently I like 80's vibes. The dress at 9:40 looks lovely.
Yeah. I thought so too. Don't think it was particularly 80s though. That was MY era and l was the shoulder pad queen. I regret nothing. 😂
I have found some of these dresses were awful, that some brides didn't have the body for the dress they have chosen but there was nothing wrong with the dress itself, and that some people just believe their taste is the absolute truth when it comes to wedding dresses and were simply being judgemental

I'm chuckling to myself. Some woman somewhere is watching this and saying, _"Oh! No... When I got married... It was in THAT dress...!"_ 8-))...

A 1920s flapper maternity wedding dress? I didn't know they MADE those 8:01. And what the HECK is up with that ..... bouquet.....thing.
I don't think the added comments to your video are necessary
Does no one believe in proper undergarments any more, even for a WEDDING? I HATE seeing a brides belly button and cellulite through the dress! WEAR A SLIP!

I can’t. Someone chose this.
There were a few nice dresses
A few of these weren’t too horrible. Can you imagine seeing your wedding picture on one of these videos? 😮
I found a few of them actually beautiful. It's the Brides big day. Who are we to say her dress is ugly?? Not everyone has the same taste.
why are almost all these wedding dresses so showy?!
Petty. Some were vintage, some were Met Gala dresses, not wedding dresses...
In the end it doesn't matter what you think about the dress. It's what the bride and groom and how THEY FEEL, about the dress that's all that matters.
I eloped! Went to Justice of the Peace. No regrets. Lol.
Some of these dresses I have to say….what were they thinking??? While a couple were okay, but not my style. Some would’ve made better night wear for the honeymoon…lol!
At 5:10- my inner toddler said, ‘there’s a lake, I want to see it wet.’
It’s just frustrating🥲
At 3:08 I have to wonder how the groom could stand beside her
Oh, that second one. Such a disgrace!
And then I just kept repeating the word... Fails indeed.
that dead swan look is just... scary,
Some of these dresses are too gone to be saved. A couple were okay, but could use help.
with alterations, a better fit and better styling. I agree
everyone has different taste, if it's not your dress mind your own business, if the brides did not like them they would not wear them.
I couldn't get past 5:20 everything up to that point was..... atrociously unbelievable.

so negative
Agree. Totally unnecessary.
Sadly mine is on here, circa 1990.
So many narcissists at Tiffany Trump’s wedding trying to steal the spotlight, but Tiffany looked lovely.
Annoying, distracting music was muted within 5 seconds. But then again horrible dresses deserve horrible music.

With some of these high couture styles it proves you don’t necessarily have taste if you have a lot of money.?
The one with the woman on the end in the black dress... Tiffany Trump's wedding, all the women I. Her family.
The worst wedding dress I have seen is the one worn by hailey baldwin
Eh, I had an offbeat wedding dress, so I don't judge some of the nice-but-not-traditional dresses. However, most of these are... wow. Just awful.
I can apreciate different and unique too but most of these... speachless in a bad way
I so agree!
4:09 Influencer? I thought it was a mannequin.

The ugliest wedding dress in the world is the one Mama June wore with Sugarbear.
