5 days of stretching 5 days learning 5 differents languages 5 days of eating food out of your comfort zone 5 days of philanthropy/helping raise funds for people in need 5 days of consciousness (being aware of how you and people wal, talk, how your facial expression can affect a situation, being aware of trees, etc..) I love this channel and this concept so much!!! good job!
I had to go Paleo for health reasons. No matter what I would eat I would get sick right after. I ended up with horrible inflammation (especially in my rib and chest area) that just wouldn't go away. Doctors were saying that I have hypoglycemia and rheumatoid arthritis. I used to eat healthy, or so I thought, and once I saw a naturopath and switched over to the paleo diet I started feeling better (chest and rib pain was gone). I've been feeling great and have lots of energy. Today is the first time in months that I ate out and ended up getting sick (even after getting the restaurant to make some tweaks to what I was ordering). It sucks that a paleo diet is so restricting but if it makes you feel better then maybe it's the right thing for you. I just hope this is a lifetime change but is rather a change for now to help get my health back on track.
Hi Mandy, I have the same problem And my chest and ribs have been inflamed and tight for years to the extent where sometimes it’s difficult to breathe normally. How long did it take you to notice your chest and ribs get better?
Paleo changed my life, I eat in abundance, I feel strong, I don't have as many deficiencies, I sleep better, my skin cleared up... All in all, it's all about eliminating processed foods. I was so weak when I was a plant based vegan and lost my menstrual cycle, I feel so much better now.
YES. I totally love this nutritionist. I love how she's not bullshitting about what dieting can do to you. I was eight years old, a vulnerable and formative age, when I first started dieting and it gave me huge problems with self-esteem and disordered eating. It was a preventative measure since my family have a history of endocrine disorders, but it didn't prevent any problems and have endocrine problems anyway.
I have a serious health condition and so my opinion is based on my body. I made a decision to eat 6 basic foods for awhile and then add one food a week back into my diet. I quickly realized my body doesn't handle things like grapes, red meat, acids, dairy, wheat, rice, sugar and corn well. I struggle with this as my goal is to not make myself more sensitive. But I do best on a diet of chicken breast, berries, spinach, pecans and honey. So I eat this 99% of the time. I have slightly less pain in my body and my skin cleared up. I realize this is not for everyone. My husband tried it and was fine when he added foods back in. I would love to cut out chicken (for moral reasons) but I get hungry and need the protein. I think it comes down to eating however your body responds best and not judging others. Love the series Lucy!
Mellissa I agree. Health is so personal to one's body. It's all about what that person is able to digest and what nutrients that person needs. My mom really wanted to be a vegan, but she has ulcerative colitis and it came to a point where she had to eat meat to survive. I have to eat gluten free because my body cannot handle gluten, but I see that bread does not have much of a negative effect on my husband. Cutting out food temporarily is the best way to see how your body responds to food.
Animecats77 I don't eat any refined sugar. I have tried adding mangos, pineapples, oranges, apples and grapes back in but found my teeth ache afterward or they cause more pain. But I've heard mangos are great for you!
BallerinaGirl21 hey fellow dancer! Right now I'm doing an ballet intensive. I wake up at 6:05 in order to start dancing ballet technique at 9. Then we have a 15 min break. Next we take pre pointe classes. Break again. Then through out the day we do other dancing things such as learning routines in contemporary and ballet. We are done at 5:30 and I get home at 6:00 ish. Then I repeat for the next day and the next. I've been exhausted. Any tips for me? Just wondering
I love how active you are responding to your fans! I love your videos and your appearances are my main reason for being subscribed to Refinery29. I love love love the creative and interesting things you try in the five days living with Lucie and the Lucie for Hire is absolutely my new favorite!! Want to see more of those.
Hi lucie, Love the series! I am on the paleo diet but I alllow quinoa and some dairy. I have been on it for about a year and I feel so natural and energised! A good food to try is sweet potato fries/ fritters- love them
I mean, I was allergic to Dairy (milk sugar more than the protein and fat) before I went vegan, gluten also didn't sit very well with my stomach... Going to italian, indian or african restaurants is a very good choice, because Italians almost never use dairy in the pizza dough so you can just order it without cheese or order Pasta aglio e olio or ask if they could leave the cream out (if the use it, which they don't most of the time) You really just need to find your place.
All I'm saying is that I have been Paleo a couple of times and I always feel so much better. When I do it, I allow rice to make it a little easier, but other than the rice I try and be as Paleo as possible, with one to two cheat meals a week. I know a couple people that don't do well on it, but I have done well, if I didn't I wouldn't keep going back to it.
I do intermittent fasting so I dont eat breakfast and actually from I wake up (at 5.30) till my first meal (12 ish) I am actually the most productive and have my highest energy levels :)
a repeated suggestion - try conversing with ASL people, so that would involve learning ASL. I'd love to try this too, because it'll improve my patience and listening / paying attention skills along with lipreading.
I wouldn't say that I am more paleoish as well and I can say in my personal experience it has done WONDERS for me! I've always been a conscious eater but I never knew I could feel THIS great. I love it!
I definitely would attribute any positive benefits you felt to cutting out sugar and processed foods, not to the actual paleo diet. I really love this series, you always do such a good job and do your research and fully commit. Good job lucie :)
On another note. I sat next to this girl in my English class who said she was paleo and could not eat any fruit. Pretty sure she had no idea what she was talking about!
GoldenAge a friend told me how she hated paleo because her coworker started eating paleo and he stank. I asked her what he was eating and she said only bacon. Lmao, I was like I don't think he has any idea what the paleo diet is and was just finding an excuse to eat bacon.
Hey Lucie - I would've loved to have actually seen the food you ate! It would've been easier to see if I could incorporate some meal ideas into my own diet, since i'm not interested in eating paleo overall
Lucie Fink Thank you for your response :) The top ones I've noticed on UA-cam are Kate or Mae Flowers and Raw Alignment. Maybe email or Skype with them? Also, I always look forward to your videos and I really enjoy them. They are always funny, highly intelligent & well organized, and so amazing! :)
hey Lucie! I really appreciate your reflection at the end! I think it's super important that people can take that message away. I believe in a well balanced diet that doesn't fit into one defined box. just make smart choices, listen to your body and enjoy food!!
I've been paleo based for 2 years. I say 'based' because I kind of just eat what makes me feel good and most of that happens to be paleo. If i want rice then ill have rice. Just go with the flow! And I just want to clarify for everyone out there...I have a HUGE appetite and being paleo is absolutely NOT about eating less food (like how lucie only had a paleo bar for breakfast). In fact, its about eating more food because its not unhealthy food :) Love your videos Lucie!!
Actually there is archaeological evidence of what people ate in the past (I'm an archaeologist) and we know that some Palaeolithic people did eat grains. The diet was very variable based on what was local.
Seems to me like the amount of food she eats is how she regularly eats, which would explain why she's so skinny. At least that's what I've noticed from other of her food videos.
I've heard of the term 'Paleo' thrown around a lot, but never knew what the diet consisted of. Thanks for an informative video as always, Lucie! I feel like you always show objective 'introductory' crash courses on all the topics you covered so far, showing both pros and cons to let us viewers make relatively informed decisions. I bet you do so much research before shooting each video, so kudos to you! And I hope for many more TLWL vids to come :) Much love from New Zealand!
Lucie Fink A book by John. A. McDougall, basically you eat a diet primarily made up of carbohydrates rather than fats and protein. It's is supposed to make you feel satisfied, boost energy, and make you look and feel your best :) Please try it!
hey lucie! ive been eating paleoish for 2+ years now and ive realized that its more about what you can personally tolerate (such as grassfed, organic, humanely raised dairy or ancient barely processed grains, and legumes) so for me personally this meant that i can have oatmeal and yogurt without a hugely negative affect, but cutting out all those crap things like processed foods, grains, dairy, and most sugar, i was able to hone in on the things i really notice my body is better without. personally, i believe that is the best thing to take away from the 'paleo diet', especially for those people vulnerable to eating disorders (like i was when i started eating paleo, but ive learned soooo much since then). eating very strict paleo for me doesn't allow me to enjoy life and be a 15 year old who LOVES food and trying new foods, so therefore i also follow the 80/20 rule, which means that roughly 80% of the time i eat generally strict paleo, and roughly 20% of the time i eat out and don't care because life was meant to live and stressing about what you're eating is usually worse than the effect it actually has on you're body (atleast for me, however some people who have celiac, or other severe allergens) REALLY have to stay away from most of the things that paleo cuts out. another thing ive learned, though is that paleo is not right for everyone, some people bodies tolerate things differently, and thats totally ok! if you really want to find the food lifestyle thatll make you feel the best: then look into what youre eating and try eliminating different foods at different times and see how life without them feels! remember you don't have to cut out those intolerances forever, food freedom baby! super cool that you tried this out lucie! much love, amber
I LOVE your enthusiasm! What are the paleo bars you kept eating for breakfast? I'm a Naturopathic Dr and I personally do no sugar, moderate protein+fat, low carb. It helps balance my hormones & blood sugar. But nutrition is SO individual depending on personal health profiles. That's why there are so many "diets" and nothing works for everyone. Thanks so much and I love this series!!
Lucie, we love your work and we are so pleased that you include the opinion of the amazing RD, Christy Harrison in the beginning of your nutritionTry living with Lucie clips! We agree that the Paleo diet is a fad but appreciate you trying it out this week. Check out our Fad Fighting Calendar! We will be debunking a fad every day from 1st December to 25th December! Elisabeth, Caroline, Harriet - Fight the Fads!
Trying new diets is kind of interesting. Thanks for this Try living with Lucie. It is becoming hard to suggest any new challenges because so many have already been done... Let me fink 😊
Glad I saw a non-biased video on the Paleo diet. I do not think is healthy, but I do see some reasoning behind it. However, Paleozoic people only lived like 20-30yrs...
My mum HAS to go on the diet for medical reasons. She's not aloud sugar or carbs and so many other things- she has lipodema and PCOS. It really helps stop pain caused by lipodema and reduces the symptoms of PCOS x
Here's the info I gathered from a quick Google search: "Legumes are agricultural plants that contain nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Legumes, such as alfafa and beans, are frequently called vegetables, but true vegetables lack the bacteria characteristic of legumes."
I did Paleo for a week and lost 6 lb! But it just wasn't sustainable for me (no creamer for my coffee, no mayo on my sandwiches, no good dressings available). It really did make me more aware of what I was eating and trying to avoid processed foods though, so that's a plus!
Paleo. I live it I love it. In eight years I have lost almost a hundred pounds. I have passed my physicals for six years running; blood pressure, cholesterol, type 2 diabetes. I also work-out three times a week for an hour each time. A civilian version of the military P.T.'s I am definitely healthier and stronger than I was before. Paleo is a life-style choice for me. The only things I gave up was white bread and white rice. Potatoes, Soda pop, ice cream, candy, cookies.
Quinoa isn’t a grain , it’s a seed ! My sister is grain free and quinoa suits her well. Buckwheat is another seed that is like a grain , that is another alternative. However, I’m not educated on whether those two are allowed on a paleo diet.
Hi, really love the videos! I would suggest 5 days of documentaries, each night watching a different documentary to expand you're world views. Hopefully, this will encourage other people to watch some and become more socially aware. Also, your video could discuss a lot of important topics that people lack knowledge on.
Great video Lucie! You touched on all the common experiences people have when on the Paleo diet. Hunger and sugar cravings are tough to overcome. I found getting enough fat difficult because I couldn't have dairy (avocado and almond butters were not for me); and I got rice cravings in about a month! I may have to give this another go, but with modifications. There are different approaches to Paleo...even within the Paleo community. There are hardcore people who eat raw meat to lax people who eat rice, but they have a lot in common. There are also lots of controversy within the community as well (some disagree with Paleo desserts and say it permits people to overconsume natural sugars). Anyhow, this diet is pretty old (5 years since I first read articles about it) so I am surprised that it is still a fad! IMO, I think warnings about this diet is overblown, really, the worst thing about any diet is to follow it to the T, forget to experience what your body feels and punish yourself when you accidentally give into cravings. There are a lot of great messages in Paleo (some say its a lifestyle), such as cutting sugar, processed foods; and an emphasis on fitness.
Lucie you should make a blog or something where you say where you get all of your clothes! You have such a cute style and I watch all of your videos and always wonder where your clothes are from!
Hi Lucie! I know we can't see them in this video but you have a really cool pair of blue specs that were featured in other videos. Since this is a more recent vid I was hoping you could tell me where you got them from? Great video as always :)
Can you share that cookie recipe? You really sold it! Also, I suggest 5 days of dancing. I feel like a lot of people are "dance shy," but I think it's such a good form of fitness, because it's fun and expressive at the same time.
Woohoo! Thanks so much for watching and being a loyal fan! I believe I followed this site's recipe: glutenfreeonashoestring.com/paleo-chocolate-chip-cookies/
Awesome Video! Maybe try living on a farm for 5 days! I grew up on a farm and although it's hard work, you can learn so much and it's also fun! Greetings from Germany :)
love this video! ♡ I tried Paleo but it was too restrictive, so i modified it to allowing myself to eat certain items like nightshades and combining it with an anti-inflammatory diet.
Quinoa has been around since the Stone Age. It's considered the miracle grain because 1 serving contains a full serving of protein and carbs. Also, corn is ok...which is a vegetable. The reason why a lot of stone aged people had really bad teeth, often with cracks and chips because they would use rocks to muttle their food, and the rock would break off into the food and they would still chew on that when they ate. Hence, chipped teeth.
I get sick when I have dairy and gluten, so I started being Paleo to prevent me from eating those foods. But, I still allowed legumes, rice, and corn because those are foods that I eat regularly that don't make me feel sick. I agree with the Paleo diet on some terms, but you should eat foods that give you the energy and nutrients you need while still feeling good about your food decisions.
Yeah, that's so strange to restrict beans and legumes, but allow olive oil( There's nothing better then Whole Foods Plant Based diet so far. And it also stops or reverses many chronic diseases. Proven
Great vid! I was ready to start paleo then whilst researching, other utubers and yr comments have made me think it through and maybe take away the positive and adjust accordingly. I have EXACTLY the same prob as u. whereas i also need snacks and something sweet but i have cut out some and am feeling alit better. I would definately like to try some of the recipes, can you link them somewhere please. Keep up the great work xx
Very interesting, thank you Lucy :) I think we all think too much about food, and like your nutritionist said, all diets that are based on restrictions can be very very bad for some people and lead them to eating disorders ... In reality, eating healthy is so simple : we must eat unprocessed, home-made, natural food, lots of veggies and fruits, lots of water, whole cereals and just enjoy some treats like a burger or a pastrie from time to time. It's all about balance ! We all know what's good for us, we need to listen to ourselves and not to the latest commercial ^^
Here's what I found on Google: "Legumes are agricultural plants that contain nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Legumes, such as alfafa and beans, are frequently called vegetables, but true vegetables lack the bacteria characteristic of legumes." -- I've heard that French people in the past have gotten confused about this - they should rename, lol.
I do paleo and I spread out my meals so I never get hungry I also still keep up with working out. Looking up tons of paleo recipes on Pinterest also help plus there is desserts you can make
I LOOOOVE Trying Living with Lucie!!! But one question, your restaurant experience was a first, but what about your friend, does she have a list of restaurants where she normally goes where she knows she will find a good paleo menu? What about when she goes eating to a friend's house? That must be a little problematic. P.d. Do a 5 Days of living like an Olympic / professional athlete 😉
The only way I've been able to lose weight is to go Paleo. I've got two hip replacements (one is m.o.m. and needs revision) and my doc instructed me to not exercise until my revision. I've been trying to lose weight before my surgery and it's working-I've lost almost 30 lbs. within 1-1/2 months. I've still got about 50lbs. to lose so I've been on and off Paleo for the past couple weeks just because of eating out and special events. I usually get more strict during the week and allow a bit of carbs on weekends.
Only thing that does not make sense is the restriction of some grains, like Quinoa. Also, think how long bread has been in our history. It was a filler in between meals, as well as a way to fill ones stomach. Why have that taken out as well? If it was home made with all natural ingredients (grow it in your back yard), why take it out as well? This was a awesome episode. Currently preggers, and trying to find the diet that fills me the way I need, but easy stuff to make (no microwave for reheating).
Try living with Lucie is the only reason i am subscribed! Love you Lucie!!!

Jeanie C. YES! I agree health is so personal. We all are living out our own path and do what is right (or "wrong") for ourselves. 💖
As someone with an eating disorder, I really appreciate how you approached this.
Try Living With Lucie is one of my favourite series!!
5 days of Dancing!
LOVE that!
Lucie Fink yes!! you could either try the same style and see how you progress/feel or even try a different style each day! 😱😍

Your restaurant "experience" is my life having a dairy allergy! So annoying ordering
lol #struggles
sparklebaby07 I feel you. I have a fructose and glutenintolerance. so yes I will find out if you "forget" to cook my food without garlic and onion 😒
Go vegan :)))

Eating just a bar for breakfast, of course you got hungry, no? I would never be able to thrive until lunch with just a bar in my stomach!
Maybe you haven't noticed but not everyone is exactly like you :)
I agree. There is no way I could eat just squash noodles for a meal either.
I don’t even eat breakfast🤷🏽♀️
I do intermittent fasting so I dont eat breakfast and actually from I wake up (at 5.30) till my first meal (12 ish) I am actually the most productive and have my highest energy levels :)

Do you English?
I tried the paleo diet for 5 days too! It was really hard at first, but it really got me thinking about clean eating and less processed foods.
I wouldn't say that I am more paleoish as well and I can say in my personal experience it has done WONDERS for me! I've always been a conscious eater but I never knew I could feel THIS great. I love it!

some people that are paleo dont eat fruits because they contain a lot of sugar , so they try and limit that
Hey Lucie - I would've loved to have actually seen the food you ate! It would've been easier to see if I could incorporate some meal ideas into my own diet, since i'm not interested in eating paleo overall
Will you try RAW vegan??? Please?
Good idea!!! If I did 5 Days of Raw, is there a particular RAW UA-camr or social media influencer you'd like to see me work with?

What's that?!
Lucie Fink A book by John. A. McDougall, basically you eat a diet primarily made up of carbohydrates rather than fats and protein. It's is supposed to make you feel satisfied, boost energy, and make you look and feel your best :) Please try it!
Is a mode of high-carb, low-fat veganism. Check out High Carb Hannah's channel. They have a huge following. It'd be fun to have an episode on that.
This is my favorite channel -- keep up the great work, Lucie!! ☺️
5 days with the biggest fan of Try Living with Lucie aka ME!

hey lucie! ive been eating paleoish for 2+ years now and ive realized that its more about what you can personally tolerate (such as grassfed, organic, humanely raised dairy or ancient barely processed grains, and legumes) so for me personally this meant that i can have oatmeal and yogurt without a hugely negative affect, but cutting out all those crap things like processed foods, grains, dairy, and most sugar, i was able to hone in on the things i really notice my body is better without. personally, i believe that is the best thing to take away from the 'paleo diet', especially for those people vulnerable to eating disorders (like i was when i started eating paleo, but ive learned soooo much since then). eating very strict paleo for me doesn't allow me to enjoy life and be a 15 year old who LOVES food and trying new foods, so therefore i also follow the 80/20 rule, which means that roughly 80% of the time i eat generally strict paleo, and roughly 20% of the time i eat out and don't care because life was meant to live and stressing about what you're eating is usually worse than the effect it actually has on you're body (atleast for me, however some people who have celiac, or other severe allergens) REALLY have to stay away from most of the things that paleo cuts out. another thing ive learned, though is that paleo is not right for everyone, some people bodies tolerate things differently, and thats totally ok! if you really want to find the food lifestyle thatll make you feel the best: then look into what youre eating and try eliminating different foods at different times and see how life without them feels! remember you don't have to cut out those intolerances forever, food freedom baby! super cool that you tried this out lucie!
much love, amber
Love your videos Lucy!! 👍 hi from Ontario, 🇨🇦
How about 5 days of self care, good work life balance and pampering!
Stay tuned at the start of 2017! Something like this is on the way :)
More 5 days of living w lucie please !!! 💕💕🤗
Patti Kim the bars are RXBAR brand! So good. Three egg whites in each so super protein-filled :) thanks so much for watching and writing!!
5 days of intuitive eating would be cool 😊
misha_ackles She already does that on a day-to-day basis, likr 99% of people.
YAY! Thanks for sharing this :) love it.
Why I love UA-cam: Because Lucie. ❤😘
Irene Enriquez ❤️❤️❤️
Trying new diets is kind of interesting. Thanks for this Try living with Lucie. It is becoming hard to suggest any new challenges because so many have already been done... Let me fink 😊
Glad I saw a non-biased video on the Paleo diet. I do not think is healthy, but I do see some reasoning behind it. However, Paleozoic people only lived like 20-30yrs...
I would love to see your creative process. I love the way you film and tell the story of your week!
5 days of powerlifting!!
lol i love this.
pls do 5 days high carb low fat
5 days being blind. So experiencing what people with handicaps have to go through and how they survive and do day to day tasks in NY
My mum HAS to go on the diet for medical reasons. She's not aloud sugar or carbs and so many other things- she has lipodema and PCOS. It really helps stop pain caused by lipodema and reduces the symptoms of PCOS x
We love Lucie!
?? Légumes is literally The french translation of vegetables!
Here's the info I gathered from a quick Google search: "Legumes are agricultural plants that contain nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Legumes, such as alfafa and beans, are frequently called vegetables, but true vegetables lack the bacteria characteristic of legumes."
Ivy Jones je pense que "legumes", c'est l'équivalent de "légumineuse" en français! :)
mmm
Oui, c'est vrai!
Many people know that. Just google the part of food it includes in english.
I did Paleo for a week and lost 6 lb! But it just wasn't sustainable for me (no creamer for my coffee, no mayo on my sandwiches, no good dressings available). It really did make me more aware of what I was eating and trying to avoid processed foods though, so that's a plus!
5 days of therapy with animals. Cow cuddling, hospital dogs, etc.
Is it me or does the waiter look just like her
it is her
Kevin C. Wilson What? Nah, I don't think so, just a doppelganger.
She was just acting out her exchange with the waitress.
Yep, she's definitely just acting it out. I don't know why people don't understand this.
The waiter is her
I'm lactose intolerant so that has never been in my diet.
Quinoa isn’t a grain , it’s a seed ! My sister is grain free and quinoa suits her well. Buckwheat is another seed that is like a grain , that is another alternative. However, I’m not educated on whether those two are allowed on a paleo diet.
I love her 'rare well done tank' does anyone know where she bought it?
Lucie! where did you get our blanket cover and pillow cases? they are amazing!
Bed Bath & Beyond!!!!
Hi, really love the videos! I would suggest 5 days of documentaries, each night watching a different documentary to expand you're world views. Hopefully, this will encourage other people to watch some and become more socially aware. Also, your video could discuss a lot of important topics that people lack knowledge on.
elisabeth Ashley I love this.
Lucie Fink Thank you so much! It means a lot that you saw my comment and replied!
There are a lot of great messages in Paleo (some say its a lifestyle), such as cutting sugar, processed foods; and an emphasis on fitness.
well legume in french is vegetable
KoKi Top in Romanian too
Old comment, but in case anyone else is wondering: legume in English would be légumineuse in French, not légume.
I would to see if you have stuck with a few new habits/activities, etc from doing this serie. It would be a nice way to finish the year! :)
Lucie you should make a blog or something where you say where you get all of your clothes! You have such a cute style and I watch all of your videos and always wonder where your clothes are from!
I binge watch this series I love it so much
Yay! I love your series!
Hi Lucie! I know we can't see them in this video but you have a really cool pair of blue specs that were featured in other videos. Since this is a more recent vid I was hoping you could tell me where you got them from? Great video as always :)
Hey! I believe I got them from LensCrafters!!!! The round ones, right?
That's really cool that you tried that out for a week. God made the fruits and vegetables for us for our bodies because they are good for us.
Can you share that cookie recipe? You really sold it! Also, I suggest 5 days of dancing. I feel like a lot of people are "dance shy," but I think it's such a good form of fitness, because it's fun and expressive at the same time.
This is the recipe I followed: glutenfreeonashoestring.com/paleo-chocolate-chip-cookies/ AND THANK YOU! :) Great idea.
But, "earlier humans" lived only about 40 years ! we live 80 at least
5 days in a wheelchair or with limited mobility?

Woohoo! Thanks so much for watching and being a loyal fan! I believe I followed this site's recipe: glutenfreeonashoestring.com/paleo-chocolate-chip-cookies/
Thanks! :)
Awesome Video!
Maybe try living on a farm for 5 days! I grew up on a farm and although it's hard work, you can learn so much and it's also fun!
Greetings from Germany :)
5 days of trying a different culture... keep up the good work !!
Very informative. Awesome video
Hey Lucie, where did you get your jacket that you wearing at 3:33? When your with etsinthecity. Thanks and I love your vids
love this video! ♡ I tried Paleo but it was too restrictive, so i modified it to allowing myself to eat certain items like nightshades and combining it with an anti-inflammatory diet.
I liked the lovely Paleo oven you baked your cookies in. Where can I find one in the wild?
Ein schönes Video mit ordentlich Mehrwert, gut gemacht! Danke.
Anyone else binge watching try living with Lucie
great content as always! and you're a good actress!
Yeah, that's so strange to restrict beans and legumes, but allow olive oil(
There's nothing better then Whole Foods Plant Based diet so far.
I tried this diet for like 3 days and I think I failed after a few hours tbh. Loved this video though ☺️
This was so informative!! Thank you
Very interesting, thank you Lucy :) I think we all think too much about food, and like your nutritionist said, all diets that are based on restrictions can be very very bad for some people and lead them to eating disorders ...
I'm French and for us "legumes" are vegetables so what does she mean by "legumes" since they're not vegetables ?
Here's what I found on Google: "Legumes are agricultural plants that contain nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Legumes, such as alfafa and beans, are frequently called vegetables, but true vegetables lack the bacteria characteristic of legumes." -- I've heard that French people in the past have gotten confused about this - they should rename, lol.
Legumes are légumineuse in french.
Cynthia Limón she recommends Hu Kitchen!!!
5 days of trying out different cultural holidays? Doesn't have to be the same time of year, especially those that aren't really highlighted that much.
Janine Diva awesome idea!
