It only makes 122 horsepower? Is that enough to ride on the open highway? Will it comfortably hold 70 mph? I was thinking of buying my grandson a motorcycle for his 16th birthday, but I don't think a 600cc motorcycle would be good enough to ride on the bigger highways. I will probably buy him the 1000cc so that he can do 70 mph on the highway to at least keep up with traffic. Are these reliable? This would be his first motorcycle.
Finally someone online has mentioned how hot the cbr600rr gets. That's what put me off one and onto the zx6r! Picking up my anniversary edition next week 😁

I just took delivery of my 2025 ZX6-R and it’s by far the smoothest and most comfortable Sport bike I’ve ever owned. I’ve had R1, R6, Daytona 675, Hayabusa, S1000RR, MT-10. Precision shifting and beautiful crisp power. Excellent in absolutely every way. The only thing that is almost impossible to do, is the breaking method which Kawasaki recommends to keep it under 4000 RPMs, but trying to be on the freeway or highway and in 6TH gear under 4000 RPMs is absolutely impossible to keep up with traffic.

I just picked up my first 600cc motorcycle Saturday from Miami. I bought the '24 ZX6R in the Robotic Gray and White color. I have only put 18 miles on it so far. This bike is an AMAZING bike so far and have heard nothing but good things about it. I cannot wait to see what memories this bike brings.
Ray, you are one badass. I just picked up a 2025 Ninja 650 KRT w/ ABS. I love it. It's definitely not as fast as the ZX6R and definitely doesn't sound as beautiful, but for what I do it works great. Keep puting out phenomenal content.
I agree, this is the best color. Put money down on it in September, not coming in till next month. I’ve already passed up on the other two colors. I have a 2024 4rr 40th anniversary edition for my trade in. Great bike, it’s been flashed. I’m just above you in Oklahoma, and we’ve had some great riding weather. You watch, when I get it next month, the bottoms gonna fall out😂 (weather). I’m an older rider too, 53 still riding sport bikes. By the way, you have great reviews!
Another awesome video Ray. I am pretty sure the ZX-6R doesn't have an auto blipper, considering it's a cable throttle. I'm not sure if they will ever go ride by wire in the future. Not a fan of the grey colour hehe. Wish the black UK colour was worldwide. That looks like absolute 🔥 with the green decals. Take care and please keep making content.
I've been wanting this bike for a while now as my first bike, would you recommend for starting? I don't want to have to upgrade in a year. I've ridden dirt bikes before and a 500cc

My wife picked up a 24 just a few weeks ago and god damn are they restricted. So many damn DOT regulations just gimp the motor. Engine is still too young to tune but on dyno you can see how the fuel starts cutting off at high rpms. Definitely a fan of this color scheme.

From what I've learned, its top speed is 160 mph, and with some modifications, you can push it to 170 mph. Honestly, who needs more speed than that for the streets?
Nice ride review and nice bike, my first bike which was a 2014 Yamaha Stryker had almost the exact same color. So I know how good it must look in person. Does that bike have a quick shifter?
Yes up I know for Sure - down ii don't think so , but you can always get a aftermarket quick shifter. Shawn thk you for always being part of the Channel- you and others are why I love doing this.
Nice Ninja right there. I’ve had a 09 Ninja ZX6R since new. I luv it and I’m now 55yrs old. Bike has 44,600 miles now. She does an occasional track day but mostly street and mountains. I would luv to get the new 25 Ninja but need to win the lottery first. I wish they had made the wheels the same blue color that's on the body. Out of the 3 paint schemes I'd have to go with the White/Red/Grey bike, but if this bike had blue wheels I'd almost certainly go with that.

great video, and keep revving the bike sounds amazing, can’t wait to hear it with a full exhaust. i’m looking in to getting the white one, is the 2025 model slower like the 2024? with the low to mid rpm performance over top end. Can’t find anything about this online for the 25 model somebody let me know!
I love this bike!!! I put my deposit on it at Plano Kawasaki last month.(same color in the video) Still hasn’t came in :( and was told I might get next month. I don’t know what’s happening at Kawasaki but they need to bring more to the dealers bc I need this bike rn lol
I have the 2023 zx6r, and the 2024 Aprilia RS 660. 2 totally different machines lol. I ride the zx6 way more 🙂 Great video, and I'm definitely subbing
Me personally I would keep my zx6r Just for the fact that I am more of a street rider. Other people might have different outlooks on this. But this is my opinion 👍🏼 Both bikes are amazing though
@@jasongebhardt9194 I am more interested on riding on the street than the track. So I thought the RS660 would be better thanks to cruise control and more comfortable position. But you are saying the ZX6R is more enjoyable on the street? And thanks for the input!
Not a whole lot happened to the 636 in the 20 years since it came out tbh... Power basically stayed the same compared to the B1 and it's actually lower than the C1. Also the candy thunder blue and the plasma blue need to make a comeback
When I see somebody on a sportbike in my hometown, I point & say, " There goes Mr. Ray! " 🏍 💨 👈 We Thank You for What You do, I speak on behalf of the biker community 👍👏👏
I LOVE the Pearl Robotic White/Metallic Graphite Gray scheme. I don't like that Metallic Matte Dark Gray/Ebony scheme because visually, it makes my eyes feel dirty. I opine it doesn't do the bike's gorgeous design any justice. It makes it look unfinished, like it's a project bike, especially being flat. My '22 Hayabusa is matte silver, but it has metal particles, so it reflects the lines of the design with a lot of contrast between shadow and light and looks intentional. I think if the dark gray had a clear cote, then it would look nice.
Ooh that would look good, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. That Hayabusa looks good I've seen them in that Color. Thanks for being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻, and stay in Touch my friend!!!
Good video. I am following your channel from some days. I really appreciate your work. I want to ask you something, can you please tell me in which country you shoot these videos??
One of the most exciting updates for 2025 is the inclusion of a bi-directional quick shifter (KQS) as standard. The benefits of KQS go beyond mere convenience. By allowing clutchless upshifts and downshifts, the quick shifter significantly reduces shift times, which can shave seconds off your lap time. Additionally, it enhances the overall riding experience by maintaining stability during aggressive gear changes, reducing the risk of unsettling the bike during hard acceleration or braking. This feature makes a noticeable difference, especially when pushing the ZX-6R to its limits on a track day.
Personally what turned me away from the 636 when I upgraded from my 650 was the looks. I ended up finding a GSXR600 that I really loved (sadly wrecked and totaled on that bike). I should have waited for the’24 to come out because I REALLY like the new look. It’s on my list for when im recovered and ready to get back on a bike
@@WynterK yeah man I know. At the time the current body redesign hadn’t been released yet and I didn’t like the previous designs of the 636 personally. I’ve always kinda been drawn to the single headlight design on gixxers and the one I ended up getting already had aftermarket parts I would have done and the price was right for me so I got it. Main thing now is just my recovery. Once im more recovered Im going to be looking at the market and what I feel would be best for me. Im not worried about being on the fastest bike just the bike that I feel is the best for me.
I believe both, The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R KRT Edition has a rear suspension with fully adjustable spring preload, stepless compression damping adjustment, and stepless adjustable rebound damping. To adjust the rear shock on a motorcycle, you can: Loosen the top locking ring Use a C-spanner to loosen the top locking ring and spin it up the shock to access the adjuster ring. Turn the adjuster ring To increase preload, turn the adjuster ring clockwise. This will make the bike feel stiffer and reduce the spring's travel. Test the bike After making adjustments, take the bike for a ride and test it on different surfaces. Adjusting the rear shock spring preload changes the motorcycle's rear sag, which is the difference in rear ride height between a loaded and fully extended suspension. For rider sag, the ideal range is 30-40 mm. If the sag is less than 30 mm, the preload is too soft, and if it's more than 40 mm, the preload is too much.
I'm pretty sure Kawasaki is going to come out with there Own version of the R9. And it's going to be AWESOME!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a great weekend!!
I would like to purchase a suzuki gsxr1000r, but I also really like the Kawasaki zx6r for more practical reasons. I've watched many videos on both bikes including yours and can not decide. I know this is not a apple's with apple's comparison between the two but if I can only buy/have one which one would you recommend. Please advise I appreciate any feedback!
I love 1 Liter bikes , that's just me. Thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻. Don't what's right for you!! Have a great rest of your week.
depends on the type of riding you do. I prefer the smaller bikes because I'm an average size guy, don't do drag racing, cant stand riding straight lines/ interstates ,love the handling of the smaller cc bikes, and I just feel more comfortable with less power. Most people would be perfectly happy with a 600 but the peer pressure from their riding buddies wont allow them to buy smaller. I'm way beyond caring what anyone else thinks I should ride lol. All that being said my bike is a 1000cc FZ1. Wish I had kept my 600 though.
I previously owned a 2009 yamaha r6. I had it for about 3 or 4 years, then got married, had kids, and then sold it. I had a lot of good/fun rides on it, it was also a very exciting bike to ride. I've been considering the 1000cc to try something different. We all have different opinions as people, but it seems that there are some who I've heard say "liter bikes are not practical for street use and honestly almost unridable", not to mention I live in California. I can't speak to that because I've never road one. What do I do? Thank you for your time and any feedback it's greatly appreciated!
@ these two bikes are what im stuck between. 750 got the power but little more outdated on the fancy gadgets and no auto shifter. Fx6r best back for your buck with the tech, but not as powerful. Ahhh decisions decisions

I’m buying one of these in this exact grey color spec, within the next few weeks. I just came across this video lmao and watching it made me that much more excited to get it thanks man😂.
Thanks my friend!! Let me know when you get it! Thanks for Commenting and Watching 🙏🏻.
@@RayBowdenRidesWill do, I pick her up this Saturday and I can hardly wait to feel it out 😂. No problem this is a great video regarding this bike, appreciate the review 👍.
I wish they had made the wheels the same blue color that's on the body. Out of the 3 paint schemes I'd have to go with the White/Red/Grey bike, but if this bike had blue wheels I'd almost certainly go with that.
Ooooh that would be AWESOME! Thanks for Commenting my friend and being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻. Filming the 25 Zx10r today, Have a AWESOME Friday Ace. Don't be a Stranger!!!
Will these be a good beginner motorcycle? I never drove a bike before ❤ thanks for the video.
No - to fast! Stay under 500cc's
I have the 2024 in satin black i love it 🔥
Awesome machines!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Stay in Touch!!
That ZX-6R is nice!
I love the color, I'll change the blue trim to the Kawasaki Green trim with that color..
Ooh that would look awesome, Great idea! Thanks for Watching Anthony!! Have a AWESOME weekend!!
hooly that's a beauty. I can't wait to see the 2025 green Kawasaki ZX-6R 🟢
Thks for Watching-Commenting and being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻.
great video, and keep revving the bike sounds amazing, can’t wait to hear it with a full exhaust. i’m looking in to getting the white one, is the 2025 model slower like the 2024? with the low to mid rpm performance over top end. Can’t find anything about this online for the 25 model somebody let me know!
Not that I know of, but you have to keep researching it. Thanks for Watching and Commenting Jayce🙏🏻, Have a AWESOME Rest of your weekend!
I love this bike!!! I put my deposit on it at Plano Kawasaki last month.(same color in the video) Still hasn’t came in :( and was told I might get next month. I don’t know what’s happening at Kawasaki but they need to bring more to the dealers bc I need this bike rn lol
Man your getting 1 AWESOME bike! Let me know when you get it!! Stay in Touch my friend!!
Just seen my local bike shop got a few of these in, definitely my next purchase!!
You will love it my friend- Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a AWESOME rest of your week and stay in Touch!!!

You would be the one to answer that, All I can tell you is - you can always buy another BIKE! But you only get one LIFE!!!
Take it slow and please Stay in Touch my friend!!!
Hi Ray, great video as always! If you don't mind, could you please tell me what bracket you used to mount the camera on the front left mirror?
It's a insta 360 mount from insta,
I have the 2023 zx6r, and the 2024 Aprilia RS 660. 2 totally different machines lol. I ride the zx6 way more 🙂 Great video, and I'm definitely subbing
what would you do if you could only have one? im torn between the two
Thanks Jason! Your a lucky guy! Stay in Touch my friend and have a AWESOME weekend!!
Flip a quarter really- There both Great!! Have a great weekend!
Me personally
I would keep my zx6r
Just for the fact that I am more of a street rider. Other people might have different outlooks on this.
But this is my opinion 👍🏼
Both bikes are amazing though
@@jasongebhardt9194 I am more interested on riding on the street than the track. So I thought the RS660 would be better thanks to cruise control and more comfortable position. But you are saying the ZX6R is more enjoyable on the street? And thanks for the input!
love the energy
Thanks David for the kind words 🙏🏻, Thanks for Commenting and Watching my friend!! Have a Great Thursday and we will talk again soon!!
Really enjoyed you're z900rs review. Got a new cafe version in March. Cool review on the zx6r. Curious, whats with the watch you kept focusing on?
That's a Insta 360 preview basically- it shows the image your currently filming - LIVE.
@RayBowdenRides wow cool. Guess I'm not very tech savvy. Thanks for the reply
love the enthusiasm! just look at it :)
Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a AWESOME weekend!!
Not a whole lot happened to the 636 in the 20 years since it came out tbh... Power basically stayed the same compared to the B1 and it's actually lower than the C1. Also the candy thunder blue and the plasma blue need to make a comeback
Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
I want it! But I got my 24 Ninja 650 last year (my first bike). Maybe I’ll upgrade to this one in the future 🙌 thanks for your review!
Hey thank you for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Have a AWESOME rest of your week!

Man you are so kind🙏🏻, thank you for that!!! I try- Have a AWESOME weekend my FRIEND!!
Hi Ray 👋👋👋👋☺️Great Review 👍🙂
Thanks Derek!!!! Have a good one buddy.
Usa, thank you for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
You recently rode a Busa… any chance on riding the ZX-14 anytime soon?
It's on the radar yes sir!
¿Sabeis si la zx6r lleva el cambio en el Quickshifter bidireccional?
One of the most exciting updates for 2025 is the inclusion of a bi-directional quick shifter (KQS) as standard. The benefits of KQS go beyond mere convenience. By allowing clutchless upshifts and downshifts, the quick shifter significantly reduces shift times, which can shave seconds off your lap time. Additionally, it enhances the overall riding experience by maintaining stability during aggressive gear changes, reducing the risk of unsettling the bike during hard acceleration or braking. This feature makes a noticeable difference, especially when pushing the ZX-6R to its limits on a track day.
That’s a good looking bike
It is Mia, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻! Have a AWESOME weekend my friend!
@@RayBowdenRides no problem. Be safe.
Lovely looking bike. Do you recommend getting the steering damper for it?
Depends on how your going to Ride it. Fast yes- otherwise no. Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻.
@ thanks for the reply man!
@HammerHead_1-UP no problem!! Have a great weekend!!
Tail tidy, shorty exhaust and a tune would set this bike perfect 👍🏼
Yes sir it would!! Have a great weekend MrWhiteTank!! Don't be a Stranger my friend!!!
Ricardo stay in Touch and Take care of yourself my friend!!
This bike will embarress a gsxr600. I own one and highly recommend it. The added 36cc really makes a difference.
@RicardoGonzalez-rb4sn Smart guy ! Have a good one my friend!!
Can listen to this dooood all day should com over to the uk
Man I'd love to believe me , I will at some point in the future!! Thanks for being so kind my friend 🙌.
Thank you, Ray! Quite different than the ZH2 SE I have my eye on
Yes for Sure.
Love a 636, that looks sooo good, love the colour, tho we probably wont get it in that colour in the UK :(
Dang sad to hear that! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻- Have a AWESOME Week!!
Love the grey and blue ^^
We do not have that color option in Europe.
Ordered my Zx6r-2025 in May, so only a few weeks left 💪

Stunning bike ❤
I love it to- Thanks Thomas for Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Stay in Touch!
@RayBowdenRides will do brother 👍👌
Please do a show of the zx1400r 2025
@@RayBowdenRides thank you ray
@Thomas-o2y 🙌
You mentioned the rear shocks are adjustable. Is it pre-load adjustable or height adjustable?
I believe both, The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R KRT Edition has a rear suspension with fully adjustable spring preload, stepless compression damping adjustment, and stepless adjustable rebound damping. To adjust the rear shock on a motorcycle, you can:
Loosen the top locking ring
Use a C-spanner to loosen the top locking ring and spin it up the shock to access the adjuster ring.
Turn the adjuster ring
To increase preload, turn the adjuster ring clockwise. This will make the bike feel stiffer and reduce the spring's travel.
Test the bike
After making adjustments, take the bike for a ride and test it on different surfaces.
Great Bike, Thanks.
Thanks be to you for Commenting!! Have a AWESOME weekend!!
I cant decide between this and the suzuki gsxr 750 or maybe if i should wait for the yamaha r9
I'm pretty sure Kawasaki is going to come out with there Own version of the R9. And it's going to be AWESOME!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a great weekend!!
I've had an r7 for a couple years now and I'm dying to get one of these bad boys
There bad boys for sure! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻- Stay in Touch and have a AWESOME Week!!
I plan to get that exact one around April/March depending if my bike sells around that time
Awesome!! Stay in Touch my friend!!
I definitely like this color better than any of the '24 options.
I love this color too! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a great weekend!
The perfect dude to ride a 636
Thanks for that 🙏🏻, Thanks for being apart of this channel!!
Luv ya brother thx for the video
Same to you! You're very Welcome 🙏🏻. Have a AWESOME weekend and stay out of trouble 😀
Great video I’ve been wanting a bike that has all the tech versus a r6
Thank you 🙏🏻, Have a Great weekend my friend!
Mines at the power sports dealer waiting for me to pick it up👍
Go get that bike your going to love it!
I love that color scheme
It's so WICKED in person!! You need to see one. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Have a great rest of your week!! Stay in Touch.
Zx10r krt edition or original gangster Gsxr1000rz?
depends on the type of riding you do.
@danlford i love smaller bikes to! Easier to have huge amounts of fun! At half the speeds. Thanks for Commenting!
Is the blue decals or paint? Love the grey, but not a fan of the blue. Not a big deal if it’s decals! Thanks!
I believe your right it is a decal!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting Jake!!
Es preciosa en ese color.
Un cañón de moto.
Thanks.
It makes me miss my 2013 636.
Ash, the good one days! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
NICE bike
Yes they are! Stay in Touch my friend!!
Which would you prefer this or the gsxr 750 u rode?
I like the Ninja for looks and tech- But the 750 for POWER!! THANKS for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
@ these two bikes are what im stuck between. 750 got the power but little more outdated on the fancy gadgets and no auto shifter. Fx6r best back for your buck with the tech, but not as powerful. Ahhh decisions decisions
@hoodprep09 pipe that 6R and Moore Mafia flash and it's basically a 750😉. Good talking to you again and stay out of trouble this weekend!!
Front calipers are branded Kawasaki, but most likely are made by Nissin.
Awesome stoppers for sure 👍
They really are! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a AWESOME weekend and stay out of trouble!
anyone knows if there's any differences or upgrades for the '25 model over the '24 zx6r besides the grey color?
Every thing is the same down to the tires and only thing different is the color option
