- TOYOTA GAZOO Racingは、2018年5月10日（木）から13日（日）にかけてドイツ、ニュルブルクリンクで開催される第46回ニュルブルクリンク24時間レースに参戦します。
ニュルブルクリンク24時間耐久レースは、1周25ｋｍ、高低差300ｍ、約200のコーナーを持つコースを24時間走り続けるという過酷なレース。「人を鍛え、クルマを鍛える」ことを目的に2007年から継続参戦しており、TOYOTA GAZOO Racingの活動の原点です。
この過酷な環境下で鍛えられた当社社員が今後車両開発の場で「もっといいクルマづくり」を体現します。
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing公式サイト内にて、UA-cam LiveでJ SPORTS番組の同時配信に、公式映像を交えたオリジナル映像を加えた約25時間のフルタイム配信を行います。

ここでの経験を生かし市販車でも部品の寿命や耐久性のギリギリを攻めて利益率のいいとこにコストをかけまくったクルマ作りに活かすんですね

it would be absolutely amazing if toyota made another Celica GT4 with an updated beams or 3SGTE that was as over engineered as the last ones (ST165,ST185,ST205) and had the looks of the ST185 and was lighter than all the previous GT4s
Or would snap the Subaru 4wd drivetrain under the new Hachi-Roku, give the engine a slug,and make the all-new GT86 GT4!
The people would be going crazy buying all of them! With switchable rwd/4wd would it be even more fun!
(Tough I love the old Celica more,and the closed deck cast iron 3S block is better for sports purposes in my opinion, we must look forward)
I mean my perfect "new GT4" is the ST205 rear end and the ST185 front end put together also that goes against the GT86's purpose (but I see what you mean) so make a new platform to put in WRC/FIA RX, advertise the h*ll out of it (and in the commercial have the new GT4 and new STi tearing up WRC/FIA RX and have the GT86 and BRZ hauling a*s at the track and have them come together side by side on a mountain road to show them as purpose built "brothers") and for simplicity and lightness go full-time AWD (Subaru's AWD is fulltime) also in my opinion the AWD part would ruin the GT86 but make sense for the GT4 also I would want an updated 3SGTE or successor performance wise like the 4G63T and the 4B11T and handle competition (between the GT4 and GT86) like Subaru does, and say that they are meant to excel in different categories (Subaru has gotten complacent ever since the GDs) but if you want a weekend track toy/weapon GT86 (centrifugal supercharger pls toyota) and a DD that can also do track driving the new GT4
Lexus should have entered with two LC's one in SP-Pro class and the other on SP8 or GT3

そもそも活動のスタートが中古のアルテッツァでドライバーも社員で始められてるんだから、
プロモーションのためにやってるのとは違う。
