The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)

It would be more efficient if the inlet hose would be placed tangentially to the upper edge of bucket. That way you would get the vortex / centrifugal separation effect. Now it is only working per gravity. Still, this is far better than nothing.
that's not the point. It's job is to drop heavier, bigger particles into the bucket and let the thin dust into the vacuum - making you empty the vacuum less often and keepings the filters a little bit cleaner
Question: i would like to make this for my metalsmithing but the tube thats sucking the dust should be static on my bench pin, collecting the dust while i saw. Do you think a vacuum cleaner that has 2000 W is strong enough for something like that? (The end of the tube should be set cca 10 cm from the thing im sawing)

No way you can store 10kg of dust in that bucket. Even when the bucket is half full the efficiency of the whole thing drops immensely, so a lot of dust will end up in your vac. Try using a bigger bucket maybe
Also, den leeren Eimer zu zeigen ist so sinnvoll wie den Eifelturm oder die Golden Gate Bridge abzulichten. Entscheidend ist doch nur, was ( oder WAS EBEN NICHT ) im Staubsauger landet.
.....now after drilling an assortment of round ...square....triangular....pentagon....hexagon... ...octagon...Holes....I am now left with nothing on my Drill Press Table. I have made Nothing with No Corners Now ! ! ! Lol !

2000 watts is about 18 amps. Does that little home vac cleaner draw 18amps on 110?
And in europe (230V) they come with 2*0.75mm2 cable :) they say its the turbine with that power hahaha

if v = 110v it's 18 A, if v = 120 it's 16.6 A
