All of that is relevant quite clearly. In Vegas politics specifically, there is either the Legion (Republicans) or the NCR (Democrats). This election is the battle of hoover dam, a lot is at stake in both scenarios, both threaten the very soul of a democracy. That is why vegas is very modernly political to put it simply. It's about the optimistic idea that society would take lessons from its past and not conflict itself again in such devastation. But here we are 200 years after the great war and the visions of civilization that have built themselves, are competing each other. Thats an interpretation i spose tho.
