    This Trucking Game may not be a view from inside the cab, but it's the most realistic physics that a truck makes where you get to understand how to truck operates in reverse. American Truck Simulator (ATS)and European Trucking Simulator 2 (ETS2) are the best trucking games that you get, and I recommend that you play them, but my game is created for people to just get used to reversing a trailer.
    I have heard from so many users that truck schools across the country use my game and use my videos to show their students how to back up.

    I feel a lot better. That last setup is how I always back into an angled spot like that. Cool. Thanks.

    If we had this type of view in real life. Backing will be a pice of cake.

    Also use your right mirror when blind side backing you can adjust to make sure you are clear. Some trucks have a big window in the sleeper that was always my cheat guide when ever blind side backing in

    Never pull into a spot unless you can pull into the spot in front because if truck breaks down your gonna have a hell of a time getting it out lol

    That setup turns a potential hazardous blind side into dead on straight back. That's great. I pay attention to your tandem axles when you turn. I think that is key right there.

    Been to this stop recently as a new driver. Was so unbelievable to me that whoever designed their lot designed them all as angled blind backs!
    Really enjoying your videos and really helping cement in my head why things are done certain ways. Thanks for all your time and effort!

    Wish I had seen this 2 weeks ago. I was at a supplier with this type of dock setup. Took me almost 10 minutes to get it in.(I’m a new driver, so don’t laugh too hard) 😂 persistence pays off, I did it.

    Your demo assumes that all of the other trucks are parked perfectly and correctly (not in the real world). Even if you get out and look around the truck by the time you get back in your truck, release the brakes, put it in gear, double check your mirrors, then finally start backing out of the spot,,,, you have no visual, you don't know if a hotrod is driving through behind you, you assume they stop in time for you to complete your maneuver. Those are 'some' of the main issues and why it is a bad idea to pull into a space. Alot of truckers are not very considerate and are impatient.

    • @MikeDCWeld
      @MikeDCWeld Рік тому

      There's also the fact that the steering is entirely in the tractor. That means you can't start to turn until your trailer is more than all the way out of the space unless the space to your right is empty.

  • @wmgthilgen
    @wmgthilgen Рік тому +1

    IF and WHEN one has learned to setup for a backing regardless of it being a driver's side or what's referred to as a blind side backing manover, correctly. The only difference between doing either; Is the distance one has to view between the driver's mirrror and the passenger's mirror. Ok, the view is enitirely the opposite, but to that degree, is the only difference. Just as backing a trailer in general, require's one to steer in the opposit direction of a single unit vs a double unit. One simply has to take into consideration, though the view seem's backward, the process is exactly the same.

    • @MikeDCWeld
      @MikeDCWeld Рік тому +1

      There is the slight matter of the loss of extra field of view on the passenger side due to not being able to stick your head out of the window.

    Nice I always wondered why some spots are angle like this and now I see it's because they want you to pull in. It's a TA off I80 exit 4 in NJ that has this same setup 👌🏽

      At jubitz it is because of the shape of the parking lot. I actually tried lining them up on paper for sight side backing, the would lose around 20 spots. I think it is coincidence that it works better to pull in instead of backing in.

    They designed it for everyone to drive in forward, with the truck behind backing out.

    The designer of this truck parking lot is a fool. They certainly can't drive a truck

    • @Bendigo1
      @Bendigo1 2 роки тому

      It actually makes sense if you look at the shape of the lot and plan on everyone pulling straigh in to a spot. The problem is that the spaces are too close together. There is not much room with 2 trucks parked on either side of an emty spot.

      Ya. That's what they were meant for drivers to do. But most don't.

    • @Bendigo1
      @Bendigo1 2 роки тому

      It is a good concept but not thought through. They were intnded as pull in spots, but they didn't leave room to get in and out easily. So everyone either pulls through or backs in.
