Ditto my 16 and a half before retiring due to combat wounds. Places where my fellow soldiers weren't welcome didn't get the money of me either. Or of any soldiers who were friends of mine. Nor, once command learned of it, of any soldiers stationed on that post who fell under that command. As an aside point, it warmly heart that discrimination against serving US Military pisses Beau off as much as it does myself and I assume, you, as well. Good day to you, Hooah!

We military stick pretty much to restrictions. I was stationed in Okinawa and restaurants there were rated based on their cleanliness. They had to affix a letter to their window indicating how safe it was to eat there. If the letter was an "A" then it was safe. Lower than you were taking a chance of getting sick. Guess what? I went to an "A" class dining facility and became ill from contaminated food containing mouse feces. That required a medivac back to Scott AFB hospital. The dining facility also took a drastic hit to its business from a reduction in its "A" rating. Bigots will be easy peasy!

A truck stop about 40 miles from me fixed its restroom situation this way: all were converted to single person use. All were labeled to accept either men or women, not uni-sex. Door locks were added. What I found significant about this change, as a man, is that these are now the cleanest restrooms I have ever had the opportunity to use. Win, win, win.

I had to leave WA to get my kids away from the trouble they were getting into after their father died and my mom had moved up here from TX and she was getting older so I felt I needed to be closer to my family. I also had severe seasonal depression up there, because of to many months of darkness. I had to get back to the southern sunshine ☀️!
