Thanks for sharing with all of us. I'm a healthcare traveler as well, my wife travels with me in our travel trailer. Two adults, a 9 month old, and two puppers.
Thanks for the review. We are a family of 5 and have been looking at the Reflections, Elkridge, Sabra and Solitudes. Bad news for me is I have a Ram 2500 CTD and the pin weight of these trailers puts me over my load capacity. Great review and insight for families.
Thanks, Garrett and Carolyn. You have a lovely home and should be very proud of the life you’re giving to your children! Thanks, JD, for showcasing their rig. Always a class act! 😎✌🏻🤙🏻🤘🏻😎
It's extremely interesting seeing how people utilize their space! Especially when they are full time! Enjoy that you share these and allows a newbie like myself, a fuller look into this (increasingly FASCINATING) world!!!
About time we all get to see another GD rig on your channel. Don't know how their customer service is these days, but they were great when we had warranty issues last year.
Great rig and video. Two things..1..Please remove the gas and diesel fuel out of the rig and into your truck . It isn't even recommended to keep gas in an attached garage. All the shaking moving down the road and heat can cause the gas to expand and blow out a vent thereby filling your storage with fumes. 2. Please put replacement tires at the too of your list. No criticism intended. You did a great job making this and I got some good tips from this video.
Thank you for showing us around. We travelled the US and Canada in a rig much smaller than yours while living in the US for 12 years. This was 35 years ago and no one than had a rig as beautiful as yours. We love to watch how people are travelling this wonderful country nowadays. Keep on telling! Greetings from Cologne, Germany.
I just put new tires on my Rockwood yesterday. We had a blowout last week after 10,000 miles on our castle rock original tires. We purchased 5 Goodyear Endurance tires which included the spare. We feel much safer heading out next week.Awesome RV by the way.
So how much does all of your “stuff” weigh? That has been what I can’t wrap my head around how much it all weighs. I want to have that much stuff in my rig when I start RVing, but it seems like 2180lbs if cargo gets eaten up really quick.
Beautiful RV and family. I have a question because I’m buying the same truck. It says under that configuration, that truck has a payload of 2500 srw and 3000 drw? Am I looking at the wrong specs? I’d like to be sure for safety reasons.
Oh yes a lot of families are giving up the high mortgage payments all the utilities all the taxes by the Niceville trailer and going off the grid and they're living the good life pretty much Dead free it doesn't get any better than that and these fifth wheelers and RVs in class season super season busses nowadays they're just as nice as our house and you're not tied down to nothing
What toolbox do you have installed in your truck? We also have a Ram Megacab, and I'm looking for a toolbox to sit forward of the hitch, just like yours.
InfernosReaper we put a cooler in there for a while. But the way we travel didn’t make getting a replacement fridge that necessary. Eventually we will get it replaced.
Excellent video review of your RV. How on earth do you survive without a washer & dryer? Also, I would recommend upgrading to a dually truck. I'm sure BTBRV would agree.
Matt Smith I would agree as well. Our first fulltime RV was 11,000 gvwr. When we upgraded our trailer we knew we were close to our limit. We don’t have the money at the moment to get a dually. But it’s on our to do.
JD, I struggling with the tow capacity listed in the video for that model and year of truck. I follow your channel and am well aware of the limitations of my rig and it capacities. Could you verify the towing capacities and cargo capacities of this Ram 3500 SRW Mega Cab?
If you have a 1/4 of a made a half a million dollar home guess what pretty much of that is wasted space and it's nothing but damn stuff in for walls did you ever think about that you should
As a Nurse, you should be working on a diet for your mate. In addition, my wife and I traveled extensively in a couple different Class C's. Take it from me/us: This WILL get old after awhile. It too much of a Gypsy type of lifestyle.
Gypsy lifestyle is what some people love about it. This post is based off of the relationship you have (and no one elses) and is also based off your personal lifestyle. While it's a perfectly valid opinion, surely you must realize that other peoples lives and relationships can't possibly be compared to yours...right? (I've come across folks who've lived in their RV for quite a few years and they seemed happy enough, of course there are instances where living full time in an RV also ended in divorce, but that happens in regular houses as well so...)
Dude give the guy a break he has 3 kids to take care of and it's not like he's gonna keep a treadmill in the trailer. He's rocking the dad bod quite well.
Thank you JD for letting us Share our rig with everyone!!
You guys have a great rig! Thanks for sharing!
MJF’s Vehicle Corner thanks for watching. We’ve lived and travelled for 2 years, mostly in our solitude. It’s a great family RV.
Adymn Sani you are welcome.
anon very keen eye. You are correct sir.
Thanks for sharing with all of us. I'm a healthcare traveler as well, my wife travels with me in our travel trailer. Two adults, a 9 month old, and two puppers.
So nice to see what’s it’s like to actually live in a 5th wheel and not just the videos from the dealers. Thank you
Thank you for all of the information on where you store your kitchen utensils and so forth, very informative and perplexing.💕

Rob we’ve had great experiences with Grand design when we had warranty work done. We love that their warranty is built with fulltimers in mind.
What a great home. Hearing the kids laugh in the background was worth the visit. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Thank you for watching. It was fun sharing.

Scott Sirkis that’s great. We will be getting new tires in a few weeks.
The Goodyear Endurance tires are fantastic tires!! I would not have any other tires on our fifth wheel!!
Dwight Kohler we just got new tires Hercules H901’s.
Interesting perspective. Traveling with a family of five. I think bohemian with a lot of structure. Wonderful for the family to travel & learn.
Thanks for the tour. Nice place
Doug Hasson thanks for watching.

scottey74 thanks for watching!! We’ve been living and traveling for 2 years in our RV. love it!!

Kingfish Stevens thank you for watching.
Congrats on 300k

According to you, hes waaaaay overloaded
Command strips have so many uses, like how you have the knives handy with a magnetic strip.
Janice Sullivan we actually used some Drywall anchors and screws to keep the knife magnet in place.
So cool
Nice rig safe travels
Scot Mitchell thank you.
Heyyyy... I know you guys! 😊 awesome rig!
1StrangeAdventure hey we know you as well!!

Good job

Ive seen rigs this size with washer/dryer hook ups...how do you guys handle laundry?
Beautiful trailer. The payload on that truck can't be anywhere near 5100 lbs for a SRW though.
I agree, I think my 2020 F350 SRW, SWB, is 3300.
That's definitely one of the most functional outdoor kitchens I've ever seen. Not sure why y'all didn't fix or replace the fridge though.
InfernosReaper we put a cooler in there for a while. But the way we travel didn’t make getting a replacement fridge that necessary. Eventually we will get it replaced.
@@DiaryofaFamily ah, okay. It's not the most important thing, definitely. I just figured it would be an easy fix, so I was curious.
Excellent video review of your RV. How on earth do you survive without a washer & dryer? Also, I would recommend upgrading to a dually truck. I'm sure BTBRV would agree.

I will now refer to an RV as a RIG
That's makes 1 of us
Cute dress
Nice rig - where did you find the y-battery hose vent for the 2 batteries?
Why is she so emotionless! That was very awkward !

Off.. she is who she is. Save your judgment.
When will people realize that with Westlake tires the G rated are fine. Its the E rated Westlakes that are notorious for problems.
JD, I struggling with the tow capacity listed in the video for that model and year of truck. I follow your channel and am well aware of the limitations of my rig and it capacities. Could you verify the towing capacities and cargo capacities of this Ram 3500 SRW Mega Cab?
Brian Manship the towing on my 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 17,000lbs. Taken directly from dodges website. And the GVWR is 16,800lbs.
@@DiaryofaFamily GVWR 16,800lbs is Not possible.. More like 10,000ish 16,800lbs I,am thinking is going to be your GCWR.
Manufacturer website won’t be as accurate as the drivers door jam. A lot of variances will occur based on how your vehicle is optioned.
Looking for a Grand Design toy haulers to buy near Wichita Falls Texas can you help? Dealers around Dallas only have one to look at.
A glass front for an outside refrigerator; who is the idiot who thought that was a good idea?
You mentioned issues with your auto level but didn’t talk about it…
Wd-40 is not a lubricant. It is a penetrant. Tools only work if you use them properly.
