UVA University of Virginia Quick Tour

The most gorgeous college/university campus in the country albeit all the current construction. From the rotunda to the dorm rooms that line the lawn, the special collections library, the performing arts department, it's so serene and beautiful. Cville is about 70 miles from Richmond, so it's convenient as well. AMTRAK passes through Cville and there's an airport, so it's convenient. Driving from NC, we go through Amish areas, rolling hills of horse country, tree-lined roads...it's serene. It's gorgeous.

Glad you liked the tour. It is one of the most beautiful college campuses we've seen. We've stayed at the Inn at Darden, which was quite reasonable at the time we went. Bodo's Bagels a favorite stop as well as Roots (there's a location in Chapel Hill).

@@cityscapestravel I had a chance to study economics for a semester at UVA in 1975. Back then the economics department was in Rouss Hall. It was a wonderful experience and a honor to be a student at Mr. Jefferson's University. Best wishes!
