finally done with the AS bio exam, after i was done with it i was feeling good abt it so hoping that qualifies for something and so I wanted to thank you for pretty much carrying me through AS, I legit did like 4 chapters in class and learnt the rest of them from your channel. I hope to exploit your videos again to daydream in bio class and i just can't thank you enough for providing me with the means to get away with that sorta thing. Thank you miss Beh!!!
Omg thank you so much for these videos!! You literally saved my grade. I have my a-levels exam this Wednesday and I had some topics which weren't clear 😭😭
Great question! I would describe induced fit mechanism, if I were you, as it is a more updated model... However, describing it may only score me 1 mark out of a 4 mark question. Bcs the main point would be the interaction btwn the E + S, the ESC and formation of product...how the enzyme lowers activation energy etc. Hope that helps!
Like for example, transfering group from subtrate A to substrate B to make something that's negatively charged to become more positive charged, so it can interact with the substrate C is that it is negatively charged... Therefore overall making the reaction "easier" aka lowers the activation energy and speeds up the rate of reaction
AT 6:30 miss i dont understand the last point which is in the slide that NOT NECCESSARILY BESIDE EACH OTHER IN PRIMARY SEQUENCE can y pls explain me this clearly

You are welcome but please....pay attention in class and appreciate your teachers more :')
What did you get?
No because my teacher doesn’t teach and just gives everyone the learning objectives to present so I remember have to learn everything by myself 😢😔
what were ur grades
The best biology teacher I have ever seen.

what did u get?
Gonna give exam tomorrow , u helping me revise , love ya .

Hi miss Beh…Love your videos..these videos are litterally lifesaving..Miss could you please please also do AS physics 🥺🙏
Go search up etphysics! They are the pros and are close friends of mine ☺️
Great work 👏Really helpful
Could you also help with AS Physics? Your approach is incredibly effective.

thank you so much for these videos !!💗
hi miss. If the question asks for the mode of action/mechanism of enzyme, should we describe the lock and key or induce fit mechanism?

I see, thank you :)
So if an enzyme is "induced fit".Will it bind to two or more substrate that have an extremely slight difference in shape?
It could! Check out the topic on competitive inhibitors...the last vid of this playlist :)
Hi. Could you please explain, on the last slide what is meant by 'allow transfer of charges/groups' and why is it important? Thanks!
Like for example, transfering group from subtrate A to substrate B to make something that's negatively charged to become more positive charged, so it can interact with the substrate C is that it is negatively charged... Therefore overall making the reaction "easier" aka lowers the activation energy and speeds up the rate of reaction
Heyy!!! thank you soo much for these videos but are you covering everything in these or just short revisions @behlogy
Oh this is everything! These are actual materials I used for online classes in the past :3
AT 6:30 miss i dont understand the last point which is in the slide
that NOT NECCESSARILY BESIDE EACH OTHER IN PRIMARY SEQUENCE
can y pls explain me this clearly
Means the amino acids may be far apart on terms of position, but when it is 3D, it is brought closer together
Anyone writing Asor A level in June next year so we can do past papers together
how?

Hello ms I haven’t really understood the mode of action may you explain it please
It's basically describing what happens in this equation... But in detail :)
E + S => ESC => E + P
@@behlogy Thankyou so much
ur great❤
