Takatuka Resort is a very unique place to visit in the Philippines. We love finding hidden gems like this! Thank you to our local friends for recommending it to us! ❤😊
Very cool place!❤
Wow that Filipino guy has been working out 💪
THANK YOU FOR THE NICE VIDEO . JUST TO INFORM YOU THERE IS A CONCRETED ROAD GOING TO SUGAR BEACH ( TAKATUKA ) AS WELL ;-)
@@marckalitta9012 good to know that you are still there. You've been there since the late 90s, right? Is business there still good?
Genuine first hand experience. Bravo 🤗
Thank you! We really enjoyed that resort and the bit of a challenge getting there! 😊
Oh!!! That's place is so amazing and quiet...
It was a nice peaceful place to relax❤️
Very interesting. Cheers :)
Thank you! Cheers!
Enjoy travels
@reycruz5566 Thank you, we will! ❤️😊
That resort is beautiful and quiet, because of your vlogs people will visit that . Have fun and stay safe from Baguio City
It was a very nice place to visit. Hopefully it will inspire more people to go there!😊❤️
Glad to meet you guys here in Takatuka.
Our pleasure! Hope you enjoyed our video! ❤️😊
Wow! That’s a cool resort. Glad your family enjoyed the resort.👍🏼❤️
It was a beautiful and peaceful spot! Almost felt like our own private paradise 😊
Cool that it wasn't busy there as expected! Nice little slice of paradise!
@ChrisLasVegas777 Yes we were thinking it would be a lot more busy since it was a Saturday...glad it wasn't
I love the in tire family’s hat 👒 it fits perfect 😍 any where you guys goes , keep having fun in the Philippines 🇵🇭, thanks for sharing
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video and the hats. We love the Philippines and are excited to explore more of it ❤️
Mostly tourist go to Boracay, Palawan and Siargao. And Surprisingly you choose places that even other Filipinos doesn't know. It's really nice
We like to see both tourist spots and less traveled places. We do still have plans to visit Boracay and Palawan as well! ❤️😊
Countless vloggers featuring the same places - palawan ,siargao , bohol.etc..
Good for your channel.to.feature lesser known destinations
Thanks for watching! 😊 We love to go to both less traveled places as well as the popular destinations. We did go to Bohol if you look back in previous videos but we went to some waterfalls and a beach that not a lot of tourists go to, which was fun! 😊 ❤️
I might have said this before but I will say it again, I love how you all are just open minded and will trek to some back woods as part of the adventure. The banca's remarkable stability in rough waters is partly due to a unique hull design. While many people know about the outrigger for balance, the banca's hull shape itself is specifically crafted to slice through waves rather than be overwhelmed by them. This design feature, often overlooked, is a testament to the ancient maritime knowledge of Filipino boat builders. This resort is a nice find, adding it to my list. Ingats my friends I am sorry been busy with work so trying to catch up with these cool videos.
Thanks for watching! That fishing boat seemed like it couldn't handle the waves but it did well and got us there safe and sound! 😊 We really loved the resort, so glad our local friend recommended it! ❤️
watching your vlogs is so therapeutic. you've been to places where no other vloggers been to. hopefully you travel more places in ph. have fun and be safe always!
We are already planning to come back for another trip to the Philippines since we had a good experience this trip. We love doing the less traveled places, but we also have plans to go to Boracay and Palawan even though they are more visited, we still want to witness their beauty!
@@WorldFamilyExplorers If you guys haven't been to Cebu, I recommend it. There's a lot of beautiful beaches here and I'm sure the kids will love the Safari and Ocean Park.
We will most likely go to Cebu as well since they have fun things for kids to do! We want to do the Canyoneering and cliff diving there but our oldest Son Logan is a little scared of heights, so we need to convince him to be brave or wait until he's older.
@@WorldFamilyExplorers even some adults are scared of canyoneering😂 but it is fun also tiring! if he don’t want to jump there’s an option. I am sure the guide will be helpful. Although if he doesn’t want to ride the zipline going to the spot, you need to walk I think a 40min hike down. If you can all ride the zipline, it will take a min to get down there.
Hope your family will stay more in the country.
We plan to make multiple trips since there's so much to see!
Yes, even us in Mindanao, in every nooks and crannies in the island has its unique environment that we haven't been there with. I just only sees it here in YT. 😁
There are so many beaches and resorts in the Philippines and not all Filipino had visit all that places.. I'm from Mindanao and I never been to Negros. i don't know any about there but its so nice.. Thanx to this beautiful family for exploring this place..
Glad you enjoyed the video! It was such a beautiful and peaceful spot. There is so many islands that we'd still like to visit so we see many more trips to the Philippines in our future ❤️
That’s Awesome ✌️👍👍👍👍💪👌💕🙏

Very fun and unique place!❤
How fun!...love that you hopped on a fishing boat to get there! 😀
Definitely wasn't a relaxing boat ride, but at least we made it! 😂
This resort is so cool! ❤
@momlifefoodandtravel4376 definitely a fun place! 😊
Beautiful place.. enjoy and stay safe..
Thank you! It was beautiful and so peaceful 💗
Hi guys!my place is panggasinan, bolinao,I'm not familiar in other places like Palawan, enjoy❤❤❤
Thank you ❤️
When you're done with Sipalay...don't miss to visit its provincial Capital..Bacolod City for Food experience..and visit Campuestohan highland resort also..the kids will love the place for sure
We've already left the island, and we did go to Bacolod to go to the Airport and had some good food there but unfortunately didn't get to spend much time there like we wish we had...
Hehehehehe. You guys, it is sooo funny and fun to see all of you in this episode 😆😆 claps for you guys for braving the nitty gritty mindset of simple living for filipinos. Thank you for really doing it. It makes you reflect on the contrast between american life vs filipino life. You learn to appreciate both sides of what life gives you. Kudos for being sport into the idea ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! This was a great day we will always remember. It was fun to get a little lost on the way there, and the fact that it was a bit of a struggle making to the resort made it that much more rewarding once we got there! ❤️🇵🇭😊
@@WorldFamilyExplorersthe boat may look rickety.but it will not easily capsize as long go out on the sea on a sunny day and just on the capacity of the boat.the outrigger (which we call katig in filipino)of the boat is made of bamboo and its just going with the flow of the waves.those filipinos who are living in the islands like us here in masbate knew it since we are using it for decades (and our ancestors for centuries),on travelling (inter- island transportation),fishing for fishermen and they doing it several kilometers from the sea shore almost daily early morning or in the evening, the one that you rode is called as kumpit (especially in visayas and mindanao) or sailboat and for filipino beachgoers, just for leisurely fun with the boats, which we called baruto or boats without engines (canoe/dinghy) on just rowing in the middle of the sea or for island hopping (years before the proliferation of kayak boats on the beach resorts here in the philippines).my second degree relatives (auntie and cousins)and many other people in various locations across the country are even using a two (or three)persons capacity boat and without engine for transportation for going to school, market or any other transactions in the absence of landbridges in connecting smaller islands of the country.
@louislanuza1419 Thank for all the great info on the boats! I guess those boats have been tested and shown to be safe with the test of time. We made it there safe and are grateful there was the nice fisherman Albert to take us when we were stranded! ❤️ 😊
@@WorldFamilyExplorers yup, welcome.coz during the pre-hispanic times, our ancestors led by datus and rajahs (princes and kings to the west)used to rode on balangays (butuan boats),vintas/lepa (tausog) and awang (maguindanaoan/maranao) even for trading in china, cambodia, malaysia and indonesia.you can check out later if you want to go to palawan, the tao expeditions using balangay and island hopping being hosted by tao foundation.or the vinta festival,a colorful boat race events of zamboanga in october. they're also speaking in chavacano,an spanish based creole language, one of the few people here in the country. during these modern times, before the arrival of the fiberglass ferries just like what you rode earlier,we are riding wooden ferries going from one province to another;which were still being used on some municipalities on several provinces.
That was funny in the fishing boat experience 😅. But That's the lifestyle there for some. It's still a experience to know 😁
We still enjoyed getting the local experience of the fishing boat even though it wasn't the most comfortable ride. We also got to help pull in the fishing nets, which was a cool experience!❤️😊🇵🇭
im so amazed this family ,,,very down to earth and adventurous ..never heard complaining about they journey in the philllppines even they're in the remote area or province....enjoy guys and take care always.Godbless
Glad you're enjoying our journey. We love to get more local experiences that most tourists don't get while teaching our kids about different cultures. We have felt very welcomed by locals everywhere we go and especially so in the Philippines!❤️😊🇵🇭
It looked like you were on your own private island 🏝️ 💞
It felt like our own private paradise ❤️
Philippines is a diversed country so enjoy your journey in the country.
Thank you 😊💓
Really enjoyed this video. Your editing has gotten to be fantastic. Great job. Way to go taking that fishing boat!
@jlverboomen7404 Thanks! We were stranded after a long walk, so we would have taken a boat ride from anyone who would take us! At least the boat on the way back was nicer, we were almost falling off that fishing boat! 😆
Wowww ingat po
Hope you enjoyed the video ❤️
Ingat po pero pag translate to English Remember po 😅... It supposed be " Take Care po ".. Po is a Tagalog term means respect to a person
My goodness! You all are up for ANYTHING! 😄 I love the walk you made and the “ferry” you found to take you over.
That luxury "ferry" was nice, right? There was the option of taking a Tricycle but it was the long way around. We thought this would be easier, but it ended up being a little bit of a challenge. 🤣
Next video, we will be learning to cook Pork Adobo with our local friend. Please Subscribe if you like, and stay tuned! 🇵🇭 ❤️ 😊
@@WorldFamilyExplorers I'm loving your perspectives on what is becoming my hometown of Sipalay! In fact, the tricycle driver who approached you by front beach is a friend of mine and incredibly hard worker named James! Sipalay is one of those great, small towns where people know and look out for each other! So glad you were able to enjoy it for a time as well. Come back soon!!
@timpnw944 Hi Tim, we didn't look at the profile picture before and now realize that you're the Tim that we know! Thanks again for recommending this resort! We are working on finishing our Video cooking Pork Adobe with Janice at Sipalay Sands next!! 🐖 😋
❤❤❤
❤😊
Hahaha, that's the spirit of exploration, expect the unknown, but it doesn't mean about the trip but what matters most is the arrival or destination. I bow down to this family's courage, respect and patience.
It was a bit of a challenge to get there, but that made us feel that more accomplished when we made it to the nice resort to relax! ❤️😊🇵🇭
Enjoy and god bless your family ❤❤❤
Thank you do much! ❤️😊
WOW Nice Guys What a Beautiful Video Thanks For Sharing….. God bless your Family 🙏🙏🙏✌️👍👍👍💪👌💕
Thank you for the kind words, glad you enjoyed. ❤️😊
That boat didn’t look like it was going to make it! 😮
It was definitely little rickety..😬
For those who want to make their journey a little easier, there is also a road that leads directly to the resort. Parking spaces are available. Have a nice trip!
Yes, we were originally going to take a Tricycle there, but we thought the boat ride would be easier, which ended up not being the case. It ended up being a fun adventure, but if we go again we would take the Tricycle...😊
new subs from PH ❤
Thank you for subscribing. I hope you enjoy our videos! ❤️😊
Браво майче, поздрави!!!!!Да сте живи,здрави и Щастливи!!!!!!!❤

50 години от смъртта на баща ми Живко днес!
The decor was def very interesting & eclectic...unique for sure😊...not sure I'd like that barbed wire on the ceiling above my bed though 😧
Right!! Would love to see the interior of the other rooms.
We have stayed in the Rock n Roll room, and the Cave room 😅 Taka-Tuka is so fun and relaxing. Great choice! We spent that brown out day on the Nauhang beach, the first beach once you crossed the river, having a family fish fry! ✌️😎❤️🏝🇵🇭
The rooms are so cool there! If we didn't have the kids, we probably would have spent the night
Certainly a unique hotel! Shame there wasn’t more to see underwater.
Stay tuned for our next video, where we'll be going on a boat tour and experience some amazing snorkeling! ❤️😊🐠🐟🐡
Wow . I am from Negros island but I have not reached that pplace. They said it's a beautiful place. Explore more tourist spots of Negros Occidental. You will enjoy our Province.
You should definitely make a trip to Sipalay someday! Excited to explore more of Negros! So much to see that we will definitely need to make a second trip!❤️😊
❤hello.welcome in Negros nice travel👍🌐🚴🏻♂️🙏🏾🇵🇭🇵🇭
Thank you it is a beautiful Island and we loved the Philippines as a whole! We will be returning to visit more Islands later this year! ❤️🇵🇭
@WorldFamilyExplorers ❤thank you travel here in the Philippines...and also our place in Negros Island❤👍🙏🏾 amazing travel here👏👏🙏🏾
Try el nido palawan 🙏
We have plans to go to Palawan and Boracay next trip! ❤️😊
🇵🇭🇺🇸❤️🙏
😊❤️
I will not spend that much for food alone.😅
It was expensive compared to other places but it was good food and worth it to try it for one day and getting the use of the pool and beach. It is hard paying the higher prices when we are used to paying low prices at local places, though....
This is a real travel vlog not just for clicks and hype, you seem to research (rare coz most youtubers just go with the hype) and you guys plan it slow during country travels. I would suggest Camiguin, Bantayan Island, Batanes -borderig Taiwan and Southern Palawan - avoid Boracay !!!!
seems Negros Island, Leyte and Samar are rarely visited
Thank you so much for your suggestions. We do want to visit Boracay, but we know that it is a very busy tourist destination. Why do you say to avoid it? We will probably just go to Boracay for a short visit and are more excited about Palawan...
How's your stay in the Philippines?
How are the Filipino people treating you?
Communication ok?
@zzzzzsleeping We really enjoyed our stay in the Philippines! Everyone was very friendly and spoke English, so it made it easy for us. Sometimes transportation was a challenge, but we personally had no major issues. We loved the beautiful nature and the relaxed atmosphere of the beaches and also the modern amenities of BGC in Metro Manila back when we visited there. Overall good experience! 😊 ❤️ 🇵🇭
Yea she has a point, you do look like a tourist with that shirt and failed to land in Hawaii! haha
Very true! We actually have matching shirts for the kids and a dress for my wife of this print that we wore in Hawaii! 😆 🤣
@@WorldFamilyExplorers lol
You are only foreign traveller reached that area.
@CosainIpa we're happy to be one of the few foreigners that have visited here. Beautiful place and wonderful people!❤️
There's a nice beach resort called Bugana in sipalay.
We would love to check that one out! 😊
❤❤❤
Hope you enjoyed the video ❤️
