Hello! South Africans spent 4 years there and fished the Val dam for barbel and carp many times, ingenuous battery powered boats to get your lines a way out there. There was large mouth bass if you were lucky! Had the best time of our lives there from 74 to june 78.
Definitely. i usually always find a higher area to camp when the tide is high you never know how high it might get and you don't want to wake up to a surprise. thanks for the question.
From the weather channel east wind 5 to 10 40% chance of rain seas 3 to 4 feet. Should be able to catch a few if you find the clear water. Thanks for the comment
Like your video, I haven't ventured past Mustang Is surf. I have a Tacoma but its not a 4x4. Love your truck and camper setup. Also the front carrier, do you have a front trailer hitch installed? Im planning on buying a '24 Tacoma and Im defenently going to get a 4x4, Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks and Tight lines!
I bought the hitch online and installed myself it was easy to install. The only thing I didn't like about it was that I had to remove the front recovery hook. The rod rack I made myself. The frame came from Harbour freight. Just make sure you get your truck undercoated zbart does a good job around 300 for the first coating and 100 for a recoat each year. Thanks for the comment.
Me and a few friends are going surf fishing tomorrow, We're from South Africa. I CAN'T WAIT.. Thanks for the cool video
Tight lines. I hope you do well. Thanks for the comment

Thank you!!
Nice haul! You’ve convinced me to take my next trip out there farther south. Need that better water.
For sure the clear water makes a big difference.
Nice video you are Great!
Thanks!
On full Moon nights do you find a higher area for parking due to the rise in tides? or does it matter. Happy Holiday Louie
