Nancy thank you so much I have to try these. I am so sorry I didn't see this 3 months ago when I first started knitting. The way you slow down to show how to switch between plain and purl is very helpful.
Lovely! easy to follow! I knit both gloves at the same time on the needles. Worked like a charm and both gloves were done at the same time. Great easy pattern! ❤
I just made the first glove and I love it! Just about to make the second one but thank you so much for making such a clear tutorial. I’m very new to knitting and this made it so easy to do!
Hi Maisie, I don't remember exactly but I want to say it was somewhere between 30-35 rows. On projects like this, I prefer to measure the length instead of counting the rows so I can knit mindlessly. 😀
This was a great tutorial so I subbed. Thanks. My question is how to add the thumb portion to your design? I hope someone can answer this for me, thanks!
Are these the mitts for Clair on the Outlander series? I had the directions but with my scribbling I have the all messed up. I have knitted a couple pair but not sure if they were right. I would greatly appreciate it if this is the pattern or if not could you post it, I’m asking a lot but I really liked the ones I made, they were such that you could wear them on both sides. Take care and thank you once again.
I had a pattern for simple mitts that did not have a thumb similar to yours. And I knitted this and sew them together and now I would like to add a thumb. Is there a way to do this? Thanks for your help.
Wonderful and easy to learn tutorial!! I feel confident that I can do this while using your video as reference. I just subscribed-Tell me where I can see more!!!!. Thank you for sharing 🥰
Hi Nancy, I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I have lots more free patterns and project ideas here on my UA-cam channel as well as on my blog: blog.nobleknits.com/ 😀
I like the finished product and thanks for the tutorial. I just find it a bit disappointing that you don't show how to start with a purl stitch the English style (yarn in your right hand) and only how to start with the continental way. Also I find it a bit negative that you only show the English style in slow-motion. Gives me a feeling like if you knit that way you are a bit slower to catch on or something. I really like your other tutorials and have almost finished a shawl where you also made a tutorial for. The beginner shawl where you start at the point and increase on the same side until it is as big as you want it.

Nancy, these are pretty and look so comfy! I need to be able to adapt to alpaca yarn, and this is great!
Can you show how to knit mittens that fully cover the hands?

How many would you cast on using fingering weight yarn and what size needle
Thank you so much.
You're welcome, Linda. Enjoy! 😀

How many rows is 7inch so you know how many colour changes please?
Thank u !!
Nice
If the pattern is free, why do you require people to subscribe to your site??
Just a tip to make sure we can actually see the way the knots go through because some of this was hard to follow so I got frustrated and gave up
Thanks for your feedback! I'll try and get a better shot of it next time
Yoir size 8 looks way smaller than an Australian size 8. Do they differ in countries?
Great video, thank w.🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️❤️

Is it okay if I accidentally pearl or knit 2 in a row and end in a pearl?
For using 4mm needles, how many should I cast on?
I'd go with what she said, they look like size 4 to me. She said to use 8's but my 8's are way bigger than what she's using.
Its tsking me so l9ng and it doesnt look like what you knit im not sure what to do its my first time knitting and cant seem to do anything right 😢

I hate this knitting video. The purl was confusing
How many should I cast on when using 4mm needles and yarn which is a little thick than yours?
Wing it lol
