If you were lucky enough to see the Reunion tour this is what you got. LOUD af crowds, great rock n roll, and the original four onstage in makeup and costume. I'll never forget the show I attended.
I worked security at the Rosemont during that time and a tradition of ours was to snoop around the performers' dressing rooms while everyone was paying attention to the show. If there was any booze, we would steal a couple of chugs and then "go back to work". On night of this show, we discovered some gin and a whole bunch of fruit and sushi. We began. After about a minute, we hear this "hey! that's my gin, you bastards".... it's Ace Frehley. It was during Beth, and the rest of the band goes backstage while Peter sings and Ace had specifically come back there for the gin. He allowed us to drink it with him if we gave him 20 bucks to get another one after the show. He was the coolest and funniest guy we met out of the hundreds of performers that came through there. I also think it's worth mentioning he could easily have been a cast member in the early SNL days or even SCTV. Lightning fast wit and a master at word play. Good guitar player, amazing comedian.
Yeah Ace, has a very dry and sly sense of humor! He could make you look bad with his sly sense of humor one moment, and then elbow you in a friendly manner and tell he's just kidding you the next moment. Love Ace!
I was at this show in the front row! We were front row for the Milwaukee show too, where Gene yelled at my friend. He was throwing his hat onto the stage and when Love Gun ended, Gene walked to the front of the stage, pointed at him and yelled "knock that shit off!" Gene is so uptight man.
Dont throw shit onstage. I never understood why someone would distract a performer. Did your buddy think they would autograph it? Wear it? Just ignorant behavior.
THIS is the REAL Kiss folks! Accept no half a tribute acts!
3:40 This is how I will always remember KISS.

I was only 3 and 4 during the reunion. I wish so bad I could have been there.
