Great video- I just subscribed! I watched a video from 5 years ago, and I clicked to this one. I had to look at the channel name 3 times, i didn't think it was you! Your voice got way deeper😂 But I love the pillow on your bed, "Fire drills were my favorite subject in school" I'm gonna have to print that on a shirt😂
dont get a 4010es unless you are or know a simplex tech to program it since you cant program it without a tech, instead you should get a normal 4010 or 4008 or 4006 or 4005 which you can program
Thanks so much! Well I would say your best bet is probably to explain to your family about how fire alarms interest you and that you would like to have some as your own to test.
Hello, I got some 4906-9103 alarms, and I tested them with my simplex 4010 panel, and they don't work, they only flash once when the system is reset. The strobe is set to steady and I tested another different type of alarm and it worked. Can you help me with this problem? Thanks!
Man I wish this video was uploaded back in july when I got my 4010. That would've saved me some headache
Uggg I'm so sorry man.
@@SafetySecurityAlert nah your good
Man that's a sweet 4010! Love those panels.
Been waiting for this day!
Me to haha! I filmed this in May before the system was even started.

@@captainchris2016 Over 8 months I've reconsidered my options, and I prefer the Notifier/Firelite stuff.
@@captainchris2016yea, i would get a 4010 classic
Great video. BTW the 4010 can hold up to 250 addressable devices. I just got a 4008, I assume the wiring is almost the same.
Yes
Thank you. In the future i might get a 4010 in the future
Can you please do part two
Great easy explanation. Just please use a holder for you mobile to be free to use both hands
I hope to get a Simplex 4010 in the future :) & a Fire Lite MS-4
Quick question, would this work for any other addressable simplex panel? Like the 4100u or es? 4007 and 4008
Hi! I love your videos! I just wanted to ask how can I approach my family with an interest of fire alarms? I kinda want to buy one.
Thanks so much! Well I would say your best bet is probably to explain to your family about how fire alarms interest you and that you would like to have some as your own to test.
I TOLD MY MOM IT WAS FOR A SCHOOL PROJECT LMAO
@@hunterfox4690if it works, it works.

How Are We Supposed To Know Which Side Of The Jumper Cable Is Positive And Negative?
Can you wire a pull station to a smoke detector on a conventiontional panel?
I need to know how the wiring to be done for low pressure supervisory switches when I m using simplex 4010 ES panel for Fire suppression system?
Did you use A+ A- on NAC 1 ? Very nice video 👍
I don't recall the NAC having that but if it did, the answer is no. It would be B+ and B-
hi i don't see the programming video did you ever do one of the 4010 thanks

where did you buy jumper cable
Me who has a Simplex 4020 and this looks sort of similar: I’m in danger.
You should show how to wire the Simplex 4006 or 4008
Yes! On the way...
@@SafetySecurityAlert ooh thanks
Can we do A type wiring in this panel?
Do all simplex panels work with 220ac v instead of 110?
Depends where it was made. If it was made anywhere like that, yes. If not, no.
@@DanTDMJace ok thanks
Where is the second video in this series?
simplex 4010 panels are for sale and 4010 program books are free.
Cool! Helpful tips!
Can you make the security panel thing
is the process of wiring the Initiating devices the same on every addressable panel?
I recommend looking at their respective wiring diagram. -SPCFarmington5281
Great video. Thanks for sharing
My batteries made a popping sound when wiring them the way shown maybe that’s normal?
Can you put as many pull stations on one wire from the panel?
The 4010 slc loop has 250 available points. So you can have a maximum of 250 pull stations on 1 slc.
@@officialsimplexguy Initiating devices in general. Smokes, heats, ducts, etc, also count towards the 250.
@@RyansColoradoRailProductions im aware. I was just saying thats a possibility if nothing else is on tye system
@@officialsimplexguy ah
I'm pretty sure it's 125 Pulls/Modules and 125 Smoke/Heat/Duct detectors.
THANK YOU!
thank you for sharing
You never did the programing video like you promised
level 4 passcode ?
The panel doesn’t look like it’s addressable
cool
20:58 Bad things did happen for me, unfortunately.
