It's not good to clean your face too much. Ideally, try to do it only at the end of the day to clean the dirt of the day (as for me, if I didn't put stuff in my face and stayed home, I tried to wash it only once every 2 days. It helps with my little rosacea). Try to avoid tap water too, that's what dries the skin the most. Personally, I use rice water with a tiny bit of glycerin in it. After a while, your skin should start to be much better. Of course, if you use a sunscreen, I don't think that it will be sufficient to take it out. Maybe an oil base cleanser can be interesting for that (I am still in my research on that) and take the oil base cleanser off without tap water, but with the rice water. I hope something like that can improve your skin a lot after it get accostum to it! :)
@@mariannelabanane2589 I feel like everyone should experiment and try just using just water day and night to wash face and quitting skincare products to let your skin breathe naturally still using moisturiser tho if you have dry skin :)
@@promilarani1238 Even in the morning, personally, I would not put water on my skin. It would dries it for nothing. I think tap water dries the skin even more than many skin cleansing products that are currently on the market as many of them now respect the skin's pH. But, only using rice water at the end of the day to wash off the simple dirt of the day (unless using makeup or sunscreen of course) would at least be worth a try (and yes, using moisturizers if necessary)!
For me it worked when i stoped cleansing and using most products.I wash my face 5 times a day and aply sun protection. And at night after i washed my face i aply a moisturazer with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid.I have such a clear skin now😍😍
Through my trials there was a period of time where my morning routine had water and cleanser but my evening routine was just micellar water. I told my friend about it and she condescendingly told me I should really be using a cleanser. I will be honest if I try this and it works I will be highly tempted to rub it in her face.
I'm gonna try this been struggling with pimples for years now..... recently I started applying a clove and flaxseed gel mask on my face, and I can see some improvements, the pimples are reducing in size and the marks are slowly fading. Going to stop washing my face with soap and water, rather will just be wiping my face with clove water. Hope its works.
So 6 days have passed and my skin is way less irritated, I look younger (my skin had creased so much due to the under most layers being exposed) A lot of the tiny bumps all over my face have gone down right now the most problematic areas are my cheeks( usually where I first apply my cleansers) I’m using the miscellar water and daily logic hydrating gel cream. If I feel my face is too dirty I use something called jabón de cuaba which I use on my body too( lol this is what guys do too) and my face is clearing up a lot
So I wasn’t rinsing my face after using miscellar water and I think that may have been why I was “purging” but my skin is so much clearer it’s just these hyperpigmentation and dark spots (I’m black) any suggestions? I have a dermatology appointment next Thursday
So I bought the microfiber towel and I’m using that to “wash” my face with water and I’m also using Shea butter(whipped with water) to moisturize A TINY BIT LITERALLY BARELY lol and my face isn’t purged out looking crazy anymore I only use miscellar water when I feel dirty on my face it’s going good
I suffer from Anxiety and I would get anxious if I didnt wash my face cause my severe acne could get worse . But sometimes I got of work late the last thing I wanted was to wash my face with a cleanser and then moisturize . Doing that everyday was such a chore . I stopped for 1 week now My skin is more matte looking , less oily and My acne is less red . I wash my face like 2 times a week . And I gave up moisturizer I only use hyaloranic acid Every morning , along with toner .
I think i need to read all the comments here. I'll be back soon. But I wanna sleep first, to relax me from stressfull tiny bumps in my face this morning.

It all depends, everyone’s skin is incredibly unique & different. For some of us it can happen quickly when changing our routine, for some of us it’s a slow process. Also diet & genetics play a role. Best is to take it slow & see how it goes ☺️
I noted you mentioned a microfibre cloth and not a face cloth. Is there any specific microfibre cloth you can recommend fro clicks, dischem or any other place in SA?
Well the ingredients you mentioned as harsh are only harsh for the skin which don't need this ingredients. The usage of these ingredients depends on the skin concern.
Definitely! But I think considering that I had acne & salicylic acid is largely used for acne, it didn’t work for me. Everyone’s skin is different though & everyone reacts differently 😊
What about moisturizer ? Every time I try to do no face wash my moisturizer (minimal ingredients one) doesn’t get washed off enough. Maybe no more moisturizer but then what do you do about the flakes and white dry skin ?
Hi!! Always try to moisturise, you will definitely lose benefits if you don’t. I suggest a microfibre face cloth & warm water, or micellar water 😊 Both should get the moisturiser off just fine.

DID IT WORKKKK
@@olixia6948 testing it out will let you know :)
And at night after i washed my face i aply a moisturazer with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid.I have such a clear skin now😍😍
5x a day what do you use?
my skin has become so red and damaged looking since starting a skincare routine a couple years ago. even using a gentle hydrating cleanser.
How to recover
It sounds as if you have sensitive skin. Perhaps try stripping back your skincare routine to the bare minimum & only wash your face once a day. 🤗
Through my trials there was a period of time where my morning routine had water and cleanser but my evening routine was just micellar water. I told my friend about it and she condescendingly told me I should really be using a cleanser. I will be honest if I try this and it works I will be highly tempted to rub it in her face.
@@marcoaltamirano8391 It didn't work. I'm going to the doctor in a week to hopefully get medicine for the hormones that are actually causing the acne.

Going to start using only micellar water starting today I’ll update every week
So 6 days have passed and my skin is way less irritated, I look younger (my skin had creased so much due to the under most layers being exposed)
A lot of the tiny bumps all over my face have gone down right now the most problematic areas are my cheeks( usually where I first apply my cleansers) I’m using the miscellar water and daily logic hydrating gel cream. If I feel my face is too dirty I use something called jabón de cuaba which I use on my body too( lol this is what guys do too) and my face is clearing up a lot
I feel my skin is purging rn idk man but I’ll stay strong also gonna look for a regular moisturizer with no acids any suggestions please reply ty
I decided this evening I’m not even going to use miscellar water anymore just water in the shower of course not hooot water just cold-lukewarm
Yay friend! I’m happy you’ve found a routine that works for you 💜💜 I’m sorry about your anxiety, I suffer from it too. Sending you love & light!!
I think i need to read all the comments here. I'll be back soon. But I wanna sleep first, to relax me from stressfull tiny bumps in my face this morning.
Hey lovely :) beautiful video thank you. Do you apply anything ever removing make up? like moisturizer and retinol etc?
Hey hey! 💐 I currently use Cerave SPF 50 daily facial moisturiser. ☺️ Retinol doesn’t really agree with me but I do use Glycolic acid every now & then. Hope that helps! (I also have a newer skincare routine posted if you want to check it out!)!💜
I haven’t washed my face in years only water and my skin is clear. Im a guy so I don’t have to wipe off makeup.
I'm already tired of using cleansers so I am gonna try this lol
how did it go?! 😁 i hope well
update??
Will just water get rid of the sweat on my face?
Not entirely that’s why micellar water helps. Although some days I just use my microfibre face cloth & it works just fine for me 🌸
I 've a oily skin
Can I use only water doing
nothing else?
Yes! I have oily skin too and it worked wonderfully for me. But I would encourage you to use a moisturizer. :)
Will it clog pores?
Nope 😊
How long will it take to cure acne
It all depends, everyone’s skin is incredibly unique & different. For some of us it can happen quickly when changing our routine, for some of us it’s a slow process. Also diet & genetics play a role. Best is to take it slow & see how it goes ☺️
I noted you mentioned a microfibre cloth and not a face cloth. Is there any specific microfibre cloth you can recommend fro clicks, dischem or any other place in SA?
Takealot has a bunch of microfibre face cloths. But tbh I literally get packs of them from the Chinese stores. ❤️
Hi Robyn
Great video. Do you use a moisturizer?? I would like to try this out but want to know if i should use cream still
Hi Sabina! I do, I use Cerave as it’s lightweight & works great under makeup!
Hi does it get a bit worse before better and can you use a cleanser at night only please reply as mine is only my forehead
I've been doing this for about 4 months now. My skin gets better and then worse and then better😂
what about now?
Doing what?
just try only aleppo soap 20 per cent and nothing else
What about moisturizer ? Every time I try to do no face wash my moisturizer (minimal ingredients one) doesn’t get washed off enough. Maybe no more moisturizer but then what do you do about the flakes and white dry skin ?
Hi!! Always try to moisturise, you will definitely lose benefits if you don’t. I suggest a microfibre face cloth & warm water, or micellar water 😊 Both should get the moisturiser off just fine.
I stopped washing my face for 10 weeks and I started getting acne
As I mentioned, everyone’s skin is different & there are many influential factors. You’ll eventually find a routine that works for you. 🤗 Good luck!

Yayyy! 🎉 So for body acne exfoliation is essential, I dry brush before I hop in the shower & that helps TONS.

Try saunas / steam rooms then into the pool the chlorine seems to get rid of bacterial acne on back etc
Hey love from India 🇮🇳🙂
Can I know that at what age you started this journey??
But what if we have dry skin... I have very dry skin and scaly ..😭....faded
This can still work for you!! Just make sure you MOISTURISE every day & night. For dry skin I recommend jojoba oil or rosehip oil, a good facial sunscreen & a moisturizer that has hyaluronic acid in it.💜
Do you have any tips for removing acne scars? I don’t really have acne but it’s just all scars now and it’s the type where it leaves red marks so it still looks like acne
try rosehip oil !!
The best thing that has worked for me in terms of scars has been dermarolling . I do it myself at home but it’s recommended to go to a professional. 💜
@@robynsturgess7495 How do you do it yourself?

My experience wasn’t like that. It started to get better right away. 😊 Then again, everybody’s skin is different. ♥️
May be coz I am on 6th day and i am breaking out.. Lots of tiny bumps, blackheads clogged pores.. U can also check out 'no makeup conversations' channel.. She also had bad breakouts before getting better.. Even I am having too
So you used only the miracle water?? How do you moisture your face??
Most people don't need moisturizers...Skincare companies wants us to believe we need it constantly, skip it entirely and forget it exists, you'll be fine...
Did anyone else purge during this process?
Plss can you share wot you are using presently

Hi!! ☺️ It really does! You can always follow up with a toner if you’re not 100% convinced, but it works perfectly for me. ☺️
