I thoroughly enjoyed joining you on this captivating walk around the historic town of Arundel in West Sussex. The rich history and stunning landmarks showcased in the video truly highlight the town's charm and cultural significance. From the majestic Arundel Castle to the unique architecture of St. Nicholas' Church and the remarkable Arundel Cathedral, every step reveals another fascinating piece of the town's heritage. The scenic River Arun and the old Town Wharves add an enchanting touch to the journey. Thank you for taking us on this virtual tour and sharing the beauty of Arundel with us!
Very interesting, thank you. As a boy, I was often in Arundel with my parents, later out on Sunday motorcycle trips, having only lived about 30 mins. away. As time went on I too picked up some interesting facts and figures about the town... but you have educated me further with so many more facts that I had no idea about. Had you gone back down to the river and turned left, walking along that side the Castle wall, you would have eventually reached a lake with an island in it. Here, there was a small colonie of Black Swans living, which also attracted a lot of tourists. Sadly in the High Street, almost at the top of the hill on the left, I noticed there is now a Chinese Restaurant which used to be an Olde World Tea Room serving Scones with all the trimmings, amongst other yummy things, that were as good as any found in Devon or Cornwall.
The video was really well detailed but we were disappointed that Arandel castle was not featured in the video. We were at Arandel castle in 2011 and we were hoping to see the castle in your video. I wonder if you plan to do a video just on the castle itself? Thank you for some excellent videos in the past.
Arundel looking beautiful as usual! I went there a few years ago and the visit was amazing, it really left beautiful memories! One thing...how did you manage to find Arundel so empty? , I have gone to Arundel about three times and every time it was packed with people walking in the streets, visiting the castle and they even had small cruises on the river.
Please, show us in one of your videos " 27A Wimpole Street", the fictional adress of Prof. Higgins ! Jews , Christians, Muslims do their pilgrimage to Jerusalem, etc. I will do my pilgrimage to " 27A Wimpole Street", sanctuary of good english !!
