Talk all ya want bout the Fords. The baddest man on dirt uses primary Fords. Yep that's good ole bloomquist. Talk at the shit ya want. But remember Ford racers like me don't need liquid courage. So keep buying the cheap GM junk. So you have enough money for your liquid courage. I will stick with my blue oval cause I am Ford Blue throu and true. Oh n next time that black sunshine shows up at a track near you remember no matter how loud you boo. He can't hear you cause that Ford motor has him pulling away from the little boy bowties.
Stan Jeffreys of Tulsa, Oklahoma was the first person. I knew who had a 400 four bolt main SB bored out to .80 over and used standard bore BB pistons. Big chambered heads steel crank, BB oil pump to build one powerhouse of an engine. And he would run it until it blow up. Which he could get a year and half two years out of the engine.
So you're big problem is mud hitting the distributor on a Ford or Mopar engine. A simple shield in front of the distributor solves this problem. Same with the carburetor. I campaigned Fords on the dirt tracks in Northern California for 11 years (1984-1994), 27 feature wins, 1 championship. We ran Chevys for 5 years (1979-1983) 14 feature wins, 1 championship. Claiming that you created the Big bore/Short stroke SBC engine is pretty wild. Dirt track racers were running that combination in the early 80s. However, you are right about front end weight causing plowing. Of course ballast solves this problem. I do not understand your hatred towards Fords, were you beaten by a Ford in your childhood and now you hate them? If you can beat them, why do you care what brand they are? Are there any fords competing against you? Probably not. No comment on your drinking
I had a 4 bolt 400 block, 350 steel crank and a set of pink rods to build a street stock. But didn't have enough money to pull it off. I've never been good at the team thing. Couldn't ask for help.
Run whatever the heck you want, I'm an everything guy. I don't care if it's Ford, Chevy, or Mopar, but I would like to say one thing. The distributor is only in the front on big block Mopar engines. The small block looked like a small block Chevy. A bored and stroked 360 in the form of a 410 magnum would probably make a great race engine.
Where are they now? And he legitimately had over 100hp more then everyone else. There was even a documentary on it. Dodge, Chrysler and Fiat. Let thank sink in.
@@xdtrl3837 forgot a few! Ferrari, Maserati, Case IH - CNH, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, ds, Lancia, opel, Peugeot, Vauxhall! Oh yeah they produce that fastest production car!!! 😂
Rob R, You’re right, I missed the part where he said small journal 327 crank, it’d be doable with a 68 and up large journal 327 crank. I think Hot Karl threw that part in there as a joke that only certain guys would get. 😁
So is he trying to win me over with proof or blah blah rubbish bs lollll a chunk of clay taking out the distributor if your a intelligent human being you’d understand that distributor placement doesn’t matter I’m running a 1000 hp big block ford with a dyno sheet in a square body (MUD TRUCK) that’s lasted 5 years with yearly valve adjustment and am having more luck than I’ve ever had with the big block shevys I’ve had in it this being said my motor has more grunt than any circle track motor could dream of
Hot Karl: so much wrong with your analysis that it is hard to put in one reply.....The Mopar engine that you disparage, has that front distributor ONLY because Most Sanctioning Body's make Rules that Disallow a Standard MOPAR to compete !! Even a precursory reading of their babble will show a subtle rule such as No Roller Lifters , (All modern Mopars) or Only Single rocker shafts (All Hemi Mopars) or 359 cubic inch Max (Cuts out your Stock 360 Mopar LA {small block} )......Chevy wins ! only because MOPARS are not allowed to compete......Hot Karl sober up........
DIET Coke...explains a few things. Mopar or No Car. The R3/R4 might have front Distributor, but not the 340 Block. Shit. I'd kick your ass with a 318 Poly.
your engine is driven by electricity. the electric spark from the spark plug drives the piston down on the power stroke. let's see you run an engine without electricity.
This guy is a legend in his own mind.
At least hes a legend some where
The R07 Chevrolet engine also has a distributor in the front.
You did im 37 years old and my old man ran a 400 with a big journal 327 crank when i was a kid thats old tricksthe bearing spacers are the issue
i wanna see this guys gun collection & hear his views on the mexicans crossing his border
Thank you for the video great stuff.
Shot man I'd run a RY45 any day over a fuckin Chevy, an yes I'm from a ford family so I'm 110% biased as fuck😂😂😂
Priceless. I forwarded this to my dad... you would like his engine, hot rod...
Like the old pics. Mason,Moran, was that Rodney Combs 5 car ?
When is a hunk of clay gonna ever come up underneath and hit the distributor cap!?!? It’s almost impossible 😂
You're right... I've seen belts break WAY more often and take out the ignition.
@@FastBowtie388lol so many things would have to happen before your Dis cap gets knocked off by some clay.
But if your racing Terd and your dad doesn't get there before he puts the Monster Jam on ya going the wrong way during his Freestyle.
From a guy who drinks Busch Beer Advertising on a Ford driven by Kevin Harvick lol
Hey karl im from Rossburg Ohio so i live a couple miles from Eldora Speedway and want to meet ya next time ur up this way.
How about an open motor 305 LG4? That's just pure hp's and torque burning the rubber of your Hoosiers!

If your a fan of pinch port engines from any mfg your mom and dad might be related.

When ur second vid is the peak of ur character 😂😂. Fuckin love this vid😂
when i raced karts in the early 70s i found that every time i tried to spin in a corner at WOT would win the race my dad said what ever works
He's said F off and watch your own bobber with his Smokey Yunick 377
😂 Dodge never ran a front distributor on a small block except for “high end nascar nobody can afford one bullshit”. But I still got a laugh out of it.

Someomes never looked at a 360 mopar lol never seen sbm with a front dizzy lol

383 magnums are nothing to play with lmfao

If you want to win holler I will build you a Ford motor i love it man keep up the good work.
