Back to the scene of the double century and a half. You are like so many of us who love cycling adventures. When we aren't riding, we are dreaming of riding and planning our next adventure. Awesome buddy...🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️
Man I got to get my butt in gear. Your putting in some serious miles and Steve retired and cycling just put in 100 miles at 70. Time to hit the trail. Thanks for the video and take care, Al
I watched all your videos on the GDMBR before riding that route this summer. Thanks for all the great footage that just keeps on coming! If you are doing the Tour Divide, good luck! You will crush it for sure!
Another big ride. Those last few hours in the dark must be hard especially with bears and phantom shapes fading in and out. This is some tough training you are doing!
Great ride. Well done. That's a lot of miles in one ride. I don't think I would ever ride at night like that. It didn't seem like you had great lights for that.
Thanks for sharing. I planned a through ride from Wellsboro to Jersey Shore but the remnants of tropical storm Debby decided the day of my ride she would dump loads of rain in the area, so I noped out of the ride. Thankfully I can find videos to show me what I missed :-) Let me know if you're every headed into the Atlanta area - we could do a collab on the Silver Comet and Chief Ladiga trails.
@@TravelingThru222 got it. So you would recommend a bike more similar to the trek 520 than to a hardtail for someone new to bike touring who lives in the north east?
Hey, I deal with hand numbness from time to time, but not for long periods of time. I don’t have any pains anywhere else. Usually making minor tweaks to adjust your saddle, seatpost height, and handlebars should take care of aches or pains. It’s worth a shot.
Nice I saw a bear on the northern rail trail in New Hampshire last year. He kind of looked at me funny and then ran in the woods.❤️✌️
Very cool!

I pretty much work and live to ride. It’s all I’m really thinking about.
125 miles is impressive! Nice work!

Hope you bump the numbers up.
That's a beautiful ride. Marking it down for our bucket list. Nice job capturing the Fall. Isn't this the greatest time of year to be out on a bike?
Definitely!
Once again... great footage! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it
Cool seeing that rail trail, road crossings, and bridges again.
It sure is!
this is amazing footage - This is not one of the more well known popular trails but is amazing for crossing PA
That’s a good thing, actually. Wouldn’t want it too crowded then it loses its appeal.
Yeah we like to keep things quiet around here.
Sweet video. I’ve been wanting to see a bear up here in Michigan, but no luck yet.
Good luck!
What a great trail ride! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hardest working man on UA-cam! Great ride!
Thanks man, means a lot.
Another amazing video, you are awesome, living life to the fullest
Thank you so much!
What an amazing ride (as usual) thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for sharing. You are a beast for sure.
I appreciate that!
Awesome indeed- thanks for sharing some good insight and nice job on the video! Much appreciated 🌱🌿🧘🏼🙏
We have to get to this trail. Looks gorgeous. We need to catch a ride together !
Definitely, we should figure something out.
Love that trail ❤… rode it a couple Octobers ago and in the rain the entire way back. What a blast.
Such a nice trail, I’m thinking about doing it again already, or incorporating a loop.
Glad I found your videos. We love the Pine Creek rail trail; were heading back out there in October! Cheers!
Hope to see you out there.

Your gunna crush it next year, keep rocking the type two fun boy🏆🏆🏆💪
Hope so, working at it.

I’ve been going on larger rides lately, and becoming very comfortable riding at night. It’s like a whole other world out there. Love it.
One of the most beautiful trails I've rode it many times.. many quaint stops along the way.. The waterville store has great sandwiches
My favorite trail in PA. Beautiful. Those road crossing gates are annoying though. Mostly on the southern end.
Love it up there.
This trail is awesome. Reminds me of Vermont in a lot of ways. The legs are gettin' some serious miles put on them lately.
That’s some nice country side. I’ve been hammering lately.

IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS VIDEO ....BEAUTIFUL SCENERY IN PA BUT THE WEST MISSES YOUR FOOTAGE TOO LOL🎉
I know, trying to get back out there soon.
Very nice! 🤙🏼
Glad you like it!
Great video, thanks for sharing. What camera were you using on this ride? And what editing software do you use for your videos?
Go pro hero 10, still using IMovie to edit.
Can you share the trace of the trail?
Sure nice country up there!
Can’t wait to go back.
Its like you're training for a Tour Divide poduim. What ever the race good luck to you man 👍
Damn, sheps on point.
@@TravelingThru222 🤣🙏
Awesome video again! I’m curious, why do you prefer a hardtail over a touring bike?
The bike choice is part of the training regiment, and it’s 11 pounds lighter then the trek.

Do you suffer from any hand numbness or neck/shoulder pain on such long rides? Any tips to combat those issues?

It's a great trail, too bad that Amtrak won't go anywhere close there other way I would ride it for sure.
I hear ya, its a really cool spot.
If you were going to do the trail one way would you travel south or north? Opinions.
I guess I would go from Wellsboro Junction South to Jersey Shore. All downhill, pretty much.
I love downhill at 66 years old, thank you!
Where have you been ??
