For this vid I've selected a different playable character for each level to show off their style and weapons. They all have unique special moves too (the James Bond one releases Dr Evil style lasers with sharks on their heads!) Also, Deathwish Enforcers: SE is out now on Steam, but you need to log into Steam to see the Steam page. It's because Steam classes it as an adult game just because it has a few nipples in it (you can't view any adult games on Steam without logging in first to verify your age).
@@AlphaBetaGamer Thank you!! We’re glad you had fun with it. It’s a shame it had to get tossed behind an age gate on Steam. Bringing back aged versions of the original characters with a couple of new ones. Set in the 80s - there will undoubtedly be more cocaine use in the game! Again thank you!! 🙏

@@MonsterBathGamesInc The game looks excellent like the old-school Arcade KONAMI platformers, but the music and especially boss themes are boring and underwhelming (with an exception to the "Payday" 32:08 which sounds cool and intense). Ah lol it's Sunset Riders with a different skin. Even has the girls with dynamite, the stampede (only with bikes instead) etc. Nice - very nice. That was a very nice arcade back in the day.
That was freaking great. Just long enough to feel like an accomplishment, but not so long that it becomes a drag. Great pixel artwork, basic but fun mechanics (rocket-boot jump powers: ACTIVATE!!!), and a trope storyline that has you smirking the entire time. I take it up another letter grade due to the inclusion of jiggy-jump pixel lady pillows.
Sunset Riders was my childhood back in the day, and what's better than 70's action/horror mixed in? This is a masterpiece. I'm going to make a cover of one of these themes
So cool! Sunsetriders and Rolling Thunder are not what we usually see as inspirations in retro games, but they definitely deserve the homage, some of my favorites back in the day.
A video game that's in the style of Sunset Riders, that pays homage to 1970s movies, like Deathwish, Cleopatra Jones, 007, Dirty Harry and other 1970s gritty action films (those movies deserve good videogame adaptations). I love it.
This looks so cool! I don't really keep up with every modern game release, and this channel always has the best of the best games I probably never would have heard of. Going to grab this on Steam now :)
What an awesome concept. Love that all the playable characters are homages to the classics of law enforcement icons, from Bond to Coffy to Dirty Harry. Awesome game, will check it out
This is one of the coolest video games I’ve ever seen! Been playing beat em ups since double dragon came out at the arcade and this is what double dragon could have been!!!
New games in the style of classics like Sunset Riders, Contra, Rolling Thunder, & Shinobi are always welcome, and the gritty '70s Action/Blaxploitation aesthetic & references were also a nice touch. Not to mention the 'Are You Covered?' billboards in Mission One are a reference to a similar sign in 'Crime Fighters,' a 1989 Beat 'Em Up by Konami.
It feels like a video game adaptation of a Lupin the 3rd Red jacket era anime, with this kind of caricature 80's vibe. Way more risque than an actual adaptation of that time would have been, but today, sky's the limit!
