It's a rainy day here. Then this story. The feels, those damn feels. The tears come out. I didn't know that I needed to release something. Agro no more please, no more. I simply can't take it.
That was beautiful. And amazing. Respect for the dead is something most civilized species will understand. And here something that led to a new friendship among the living. Kudos to the author and the noble Narrator.

A while ago my browsers crashed, and I lost all of my Favorites, I know they would have been from Agro though as he was all I was listening to on Sc-Fi/HFY/Reddit It was probably last year or even the year before, and it could be from any reading, as I was trying to just listen as far back as I could find. Sorry I can't pin it down at all for you.

I dozed off listening to another story, I woke up with tears in my eyes to this one, I was sad but also at peace. Some of the stories really hit me but this one effected me deeply. I wish we all could learn from this..with everything going on now my heart breaks for every life lost to the conflicts we are seeing it does not matter what side what beliefs each life lost is something that can never be replaced.

Wow, that was a good story. It had my wife and I entranced. I like how the guy offered friendship when that’s all the humans ever wanted and then they got invited to meet the federation. I can’t believe how good these stories are.

We do not stand in deep valley, but walk an ever winding path upwards towards the light of ALL! Yes, we still feel the sadness, but also can feel their sacrifice lifting us upwards and onwards! Well at the very least it ended a fratricidal war. That alone is a worthy event. Plus, I think they'd be too frightened of the crazy humans to do that. Considering how much more our tech was than theirs and that its tech from a 1000 years prior to the story, they have to know they have no chance.
