No matter how long I’ve been drumming I still get this feeling. As long as you’re always practising something and progressing!

Hey we all get there eventually. This is about to be my third year in highschool where I’m just able to play all of these mostly clean. It just comes with time and consistent practice. Also the practice can’t just be playing it which tends to be most beginners problems. Make sure you listening for the things that sound off and fix it while also watching your form. You got this!!

Does the fast 6 stroke roll eventually sound the same as 16th notes and as a triplet feel rudiment?

As a drummer with a few months under his belt, I love the Multiple Bounce Roll! Listening on Slow....Alright....I can pull that off kinda. Not exactly precision yet, but getting there. Then I stopped......wait???? This isn't fast???? WTF??? 😂😂😂😂 Listening to it at full speed....😂😂....looking for the 'middle finger' emoji!!!

Hearing the five stroke roll fast - “That’s great, it starts with an earthquake, birds, and snakes, and airplanes and Lenny Bruce is not afraid….”

Best to practise them with a metronome and set it to a speed that’s comfortable for you 😆
