Somehow missed this video alert until end of my lunch hour…ended up clocking back in for work and watching the awesome Vlogtober post (gotta love work from home) 😉
I am away on holiday, as I said in your live and we went to a Halloween show at the Hippodrome circus. I was so anxious as nobody wore a mask and we were packed in! No tests needed beforehand either. Good show though. I know how you feel.
Random comments following! You can freeze milk. When you take it out you need to let it unfreeze completely, preferably in the fridge, and shake it well before using the first time. If the container splits unfreeze it in a bowl and decant into something you can shake. I went to see "Hamilton" in Sydney earlier this year, and the theatre insisted on masks, even though we didn't require them in shops at the time. We are still using a QR code system for entry to places in Sydney and wearing masks indoors, but both will probably be phased out by the end of the year. We have a very high vaccination rate here in Sydney, and will probably have 90% double vaccinated by the end of November. The recent delta outbreak( which is still going) really gave everyone a scare. I try to get on with life, but be careful. Stay safe.
Ryan, the anxiety is perfectly understandable. But you are very careful and have done everything you can to mitigate the risk. We just got our boosters and flu shot. So we’ve had the single jab J&J vaccine and now the mRNA Moderna booster. Side effects from the booster have been much milder than the initial jab. Mostly just muscle aches and tiredness. Aiden, what a lovely jacket! 😉
My husband and I were incredibly cautious before the vaccine, but we still got COVID. We both had a rather minor case, even though I have some health conditions that put me at risk for a bad outcome. We went back to being cautious after we got better, but, since getting fully vaccinated, we have relaxed quite a bit, but still wear masks everywhere.
Definitely anxiety twinning ! Same thought process exact ! My other half is safe but can be lax which tips me over the edge....or maybe thats just the control freak that comes with anxiety in order to feel safe. I hope you both enjoyed Alan Carr and the anxiety wasn't too bad after 🥰
the dog snoring is a perfect cue for me to knock it off. Thanks for a great week and my wish for you is to soon be in a place to take a few days off and fly away. Some place warm and lots of coconut water..Sandy beaches included.
Glad to see Nanna in the past couple vlogs and is doing well. I hear ya, Ryan, there's major drama here over mask mandates and infections are starting to climb again here - mostly in the tory States like where I live. Nice Jurassic Park snippet and watching Rubin snoring.
Aw thats brilliant news about the business, glad things are starting to look up! Oh you seen Alan Carr at the Empire, hopefully you guys enjoyed it! I was only there a few weeks ago watching School of Rock... was amazing. Good to be back at the Theatres again. I'm guessing you guys had to do a Covid tests as when I was there it was required you produced a negative result before they let you in so if that was the case hopefully that eased the Anxiety somewhat 😊 Yeah don't blame Ryan, I think I'd of had to say something myself because that woman was out of order... people are knobs when they drink unfortunately! I get what you mean though Aiden, the aftermath can spoil it.
I was at the Newcastle Theatre Royal seeing everybodys talking about jamie and it was full not one seat. 99.9%of people on our level wore masks. However they was a few with hanging noses or using them as chin warmers at points. But i do think woth me sitting with millimetres of a stranger we should have had a negative test that way i would feel more comfortable about not wearing masks as people would of tested negative. Saying that anyone can fake a lateral flow one so is they really any point

I got some Jammie Dodgers at the store, so now I will know what they taste like (I haven’t opened them yet). And no, I didn’t get the second riddle at all (I had a different answer for the first one, though it may be considered incorrect on a technicality - I’ll send it to you privately if you’re interested). It is very easy for me to get anxious about worst case scenarios, but I think I am learning to remind myself that it is my anxiety rather than reality that is talking. It is, admittedly, an ongoing struggle.
I’m interested in what you think of the JDs. We found them at our local grocery store and they taste a bit off. I notice they are getting close to the sell by date and we are in Texas so no telling what happened to them before they made it to the shelf.
@@markheinlein1021 I’ve had a few of them now, and while the “jammie” part of it is pretty good, i’m not crazy about the way the shortbread cookie part of it tastes. I do know that sometimes UK products that end up in the US aren’t exactly like they are the UK, so that may account for the difference. So when I finish these up I’m probably not going to get any more. But it was still interesting to give them a try.

I had to go on medication durning COVID and it’s done wonders for my anxiety.
Which medication was it please?

It is. We actually now only really drink decaf tea. As the caffeine effects Aidens nostrils. We do have regular coffee though for me. - Ryan x
