Gas passer is just a better version, and its not like MvM is so hard that doing things really well and just well is actually noticeable.
the problem is that the weapon being so good makes new players pick pyro, which leads to them walking into danger expecting the gas passer to save them, then dying. and they top damage anyways. it's pretty stupid. obviously i have no problem with better players using it, but it makes it impossible for new players to learn.

I feel like that explosion thing should be a regular for the gas passer instead of enflaming enemies & a lingering effect. But instead of dealing 250 DMG, it does only 125 DMG.

for the record, they patched the explosion damage counting towards recharge. It's still ridiculously powerful though, you just have to be slightly more judicious with when you decide to deploy it
