A pc has a much longer life span due to the ability to be upgraded while you need to buy a new console because you can’t upgrade them.

PC games can’t possibly be *that* great. 🤨 I mean to each their own, and I played WOW once, and I fondly remember my times playing Ben 10 CN website games, and Poptripica 😌; but there’s of a *thrill* using consoles, from putting the cartridge/disc in to the controllers to the lore/gameplay. 😊

Well... Which console actually use a cartridge/disc anymore? They kind of don't exist anymore since games tend to be digital downloads now. And when it comes to disks.... PC's kind of invented it and moved away from it first.
Also why do you assume that you can't use a controller for a PC? I guess the controller I got for my PC just do not exist then.
I wonder why you think you can't have the same amount of fun playing God of War on a PC? A console is just some hardware that is limited in function. It is when you get down to the metal a console is just a bad PC with a dedicated purpose. Anything a console can do, a PC can do it as well. The difference is that a PC can do much more than just watching movies and playing games.

A. Discs and cartridges are still a thing even in modern gaming consoles. Now I’ll admit you got me in that PCs are the OGs with discs. However,
B. Only a mook or a duche/a-hole would get the digital edition of a console. And I say this because I can just imagine someone buying them just to be an “in the now/high status” smug a-hole to others. Like that SP episode where everyone got electric cars (not saying that elec. cars are bad, just the way they went about having them.) Also there’s more risk in downloading games:
There’s more security and less risk (and less storage usage) using a disc. Not to mention if something were to happen to the console the game itself would be done as well and you’d have to re-buy them. I only buy download games of games that are older and aren’t in stock in stores (that I know of). Like Audra’s Wrath, or the first few God of Wars, or the first Ninja Storm.
C. I’ll admit being able to use controllers on a PC is news to me, but even so the graphics can’t be *that* much better on it. WOW is big but the graphics aren’t exactly all that. And even if they were, they’re just mooching off of other console games. As far as my knowledge goes PC doesn’t have any original/PC specific games except for MMORPGs, Minecraft (which is awesome), Diablo, and Overwatch (witch I hear good things of), Team Fortress 1 and 2, and Jumpstart games.
Also, I’m a little sour when it comes to PC because the only thing I know about it gaming wise are from that FlashGitz video and this. And considering both are snobby “deities” I can only assume that speaks something about the attitude of PC gamers themselves.

A. Sure. They are around. LP record are still around. However to say it is what modern gaming is today is rather dishonest. Also Disk drives also exist for PC's. Or do you think PC's never had CD, DVD and Blueray players or something. Consoles only focus on making this tech accessable for the wider market. That is who the Playstation 2 became the best selling console in history. The DVD player existed for PC's to you know. I have several of them in a box somewhere. They are not eclusives to consoles. There is a charm to use floppy disks as well. But I should be dishonest to say it is what modern PC's use.

This is a No True Scotsmans fallacy and I will not take any argument seriously. You having arbitary purity standards are irrelevant. If this is the kind of arguments you have. You are really grasping for straws.
C. Wow. You have been living under a rock. Controllers on PC's has been a thing since PC's started. Do I need to remind you of what a Joystick is? They were invented in the 70's. Do you know that we are not working on Windows DOS anymore right?
Also. No Graphics on PC's are WAY better. The reason for it is simple.
Consoles do not benefit in beating PC's on graphics. Consoles benefit from being just at or slightly AFTER PC's in graphics. The reason for it is that a console is not supposed to be a graphical powerhouse. It is supposed to be a cheaper hardware solution for entertainment. The console is going to have a lifespawn of 6-8 years if not more and in that time, even if it did push the gaphics it will be outdated to any new PC. A PC is modular. You can replace the hardware in it if you want. On a Console you can't because you will have the same hardware you had back when it was released. If the Console you are using was released in 2015, you are using tech from 2015. A new PC can use the latest hardware because it is not locked to the hardware. That is why PC's are ALWAYS the trailblazers in hardware development. They are more suited for it as they are not of standardized design. Again. Consoles are LOCKED to the hardware of the time. They can not improve the tech as time pass.
It does not make economical sense to produce a console that can beat PC's when they will be left in the dust within a few years if you want the bleeding edge. It just make your "cheap alternative" expensive which defeats the point. It is better to be slightly behind or at the current tech because it is proven hardware AND it comes at a resonable price.
*THERE IS ABSOLUTLY NO REASONS FOR WHY GOD OF WAR SHOULD LOOK BETTER ON CONSOLES THAN ON PC'S. THE CONSOLES ARE USING OLDER AND LESS POWERFUL HARDWARE THAN A PC DOES ANYWAY. THE GRAPHICAL FIDELITY IS NEVER A POINT CONSOLES ARE GOING TO WIN ON AND IT IS CHILDISH TO ACT AS IF THAT IS EVEN A POINT THAT MATTERS.*

When you know what you're looking for, you can build a PC using random crap you find in the dump.

@@BurningRubber454 aren't PS5 Pros performing the same as the original PS5? Sony and Microsoft are VERY eager to rerelease the same console for a higher price tag, and demand you buy the new one.
Meanwhile, PC doesn't need upgrades. Most games that need serious hardware can't even match up to Half Life 2, which came out in 2007.
If it can't smoothly run Doom 2016, then yeah an upgrade is probably needed.
But 2016 was 8 years ago, and not many games both require cutting edge hardware and are wirth playing.
Try TF2. Try Starbound. Try SKYRIM!

I have yet to see a modern game that has convinced me that my 1070Ti is worth replacing.

which emulatro because i cant do that on yuzu, pretty much doesnt let me when i change to 2x or more resolution de game looks pixelated, just normal resolution and ryujinx crashes
