FACTS!!! Our Defense this game was really strong we forced 23 turnovers, had 13 steals, and 5 blocks without our 2 leading shot blockers and rebounders in Jordan and Ezi, plus missing a scrappy defender in Nika. Either way this team is going to be a problem this season
Seattle seriously needs a new coach..if this is a sign of things to come from Storm.. granted it was a preseason game but Storm should be taking things more seriously... have to wait and see how the regular season goes to see if Quinn can get it together but honestly she had two seasons to improve.. well.. shall see
The Seattle Storm is gonna be a much better team this Season versus 2023. The Los Angeles Sparks are gonna be dangerous too! And don't forget about the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever!
My Sparks are gonna be a good team this year. After that stint with Derrick Fisher as the HC I was worried that we were going to be in basketball hell for the next century. Cameron Brink and Rickea Jackson were great picks and with Hamby and Yueru, I wouldn't be surprised to see them back in the WNBA Finals soon. Here'sagoodlineupfor us, Yueru at the 5, Brink at the 4, Jackson at the 3, Nurse at the 2, Brown at the 1. Of course, Nurse and Brown are more 2 guards so maybe one of them comes off the bench and you start Clarendon at the 1. Hamby and Samuelson can also be depth pieces and we could be in for something special for awhile. GO SPARKS!!!!!
🥱🥱 The hardest part about the WNBA is how everyone looks like a bunch of strangers playing. Like I can never really get to a level where I care enough to know everyone that's in a team.....does that make sense?....idk I can't pin point why that is....Throughout the entire camera shots, you just see this one view of them....there's no close ups and just always constant....idk.
They get about 1 camera for every 10 at an NBA game, now, so there are fewer views; but, like, this is a lot like what watching basketball was like when I was a kid. And we didnt have replays on demand online. If you like basketball, watch, the faces will come.
