@@seventhcompactor1505 I like UCLA but respectfully disagree. Stanford won 25 consecutive NACDA Directors' Cups, from 1994-95 through 2018-19, awarded annually to the most successful overall college sports program in the nation. 177 Stanford-affiliated athletes have won a total of 296 Summer Olympic medals (150 gold, 79 silver, 67 bronze), including 26 medals at the 2020 Tokyo games. Stanford's academic peers are Harvard and MIT. UCLA is a top 25 not a top 5.
@@mhalliday8591 UCLA is the best public university in the world. Standard is not the best private university. The rankings aren't the same for publics and privates. Things like student/teacher ratio and endowment, make no sense for a public. But sheer academic horsepower ? UCLA is top notch. And it has much better athletes. UCLA has 10% of ALL US olympic medals. The campus is an olympic village. And one more key thing that makes UCLA greater - it's fun. Stanford is located in a boring, asexual, lame space. UCLA is in heaven...the best looking people in the world linger near or on campus. At stanford, the asian dudes look like chicks. The asian chicks look like dudes. No one is hot.
She is one of the best in the game and at 6’4 can shoot and run the court too. I watched her in high school here in Portland and she is a gem. If the WNBA puts a franchise in Portland they need to draft her.
She is obviously a talented basketball player, but more importantly she is an outstanding young lady with a lot of poise and charisma. She's the type of young lady that any father in America would be proud to have as a daughter. The Stanford team seems to have a large number of outstanding young ladies. IMO: This is one of the key factors that helps them be successful year after year. A coach whom I respect once told me, "Ed, you can't coach talent or character." Over the years as a coach more often than not, I have this statement to be a true one.
oh weird, i thought there were would like a 5 am workout and then hustle of class and taking a test while rushing to everything. it's like nothing is expected but gameday on gameday.
She did win a ring.. on her freshman year. A feat her God brothers have not accomplished. And she and Stanford came to the Final Four again last year. It's not easy going back to back Final Four. Let her be, it's her decision. She made great friends and teammates. And for her parent's sake, she has a God brother nearby in the Bay Area to watch her from a far and provide anything she needs (minus the NCAA violations of course).
UCONN has been to the Final Four 14 years in a row. Last year they beat Stanford without Dorka. In the semifinal game against NC State she broke her wrist after another cowardly foul by the opposing team.
There's usually an athletic dining hall on most major universities. The food is typically better and healthier and sometimes they let non-athlete students eat there for a more expensive meal plan.
I know you hear us a lot but I think that you're very very very very very beautiful and I want to wish you nothing but the best in your career and I know you're going to kill it and at the end of the day I know that you're going to be one of the greatest of all times so congratulations on a good life
The WNBA season is only 3-1/2 months long. She can go back to Stanford and finish her schoolwork. Probably has enough credits to graduate already. Plus she's getting paid millions in endorsement deals with New Balance and Skims underwear.
‘Before this I had a meeting at 8:30am”. Is that school related? Which classes? Where is the class time? I was looking for academic classes and not preparing for Utah.
I read where UCONN was originally your first choice. You sure screwed up. You could be going for your third title in three years. Just imagine you and Dorka, the twin towers on the same team in the paint. Slapping away every shot headed trowards the net. Two 6'5" players built similar with long flowing blonde hair. Another big post player is all that's prevented UCONN from another dominating run of championships. Then again, I'd rather have a degree from Stanford than Harvard, N.D., or S.C.

@@jazzyj6640 UCONN has 3 starters out hurt, Paige for the entire year. Then add DuCharme & Fudd. They could start for any team in the NCAA. Most of the year they've played with 7 scholarship athletes. Where would Stanford be without Brink and Jones? Not even in the top 20. Take Boston and Cooke away from SC and they're top 15 at best. Yet UCONN is down 3 starters. UCONN has been playing with mostly bench players for the entire year. Case closed.
@@jazzyj6640 UCONN overrated??? Now that's funny... UCONN's injured players are a Final 4 team. If Paige, Azzi, Ice and Ducharme were able to play and UCONN was at full strength this year instead of being absolutely decimated with injuries, there isn't a team in America that they wouldn't wax. Remove South Carolina's, or Tennessee's top 3 scorers (players) and they wouldn't be in the top 25.
